This was a really fun adventure for my sisters and me! Tom picked us up in their company shuttle and safely transported us back and forth to the site. We were given a short safety course, and then on to the dig! Tom was also directing myself and one sister at the same time. He was quite efficient, witty, and PATIENT. Every employee we encountered had a great attitude, and seemed very enthusiastic about being there. They even have small equipment for little kids. My grandsons would love this. I just have to say... this was the BEST activity to do in Vegas! My bf and I had so much fun!! I found these guys through a friend on Instagram. So I reached out to set up a date/time. They were extremely accommodating. We preferred a morning (thinking that we'd try to beat the heat, but turns out that the cabs have A/C and were quite comfortable), and that was no problem to get in. On the day, we arrived and got to meet the owner, Ed. He was such a nice guy! After checking in, we got a quick little rundown of instructions and was assigned to an instructor for the day. We had Brian, and I have to tell ya, he was beyond helpful and patient with me asking questions and taking tons of pics/vids. We opted for the biggest excavators that they offered. At first, I was a bit intimidated about knowing how to control it, but shortly learned that there was nothing to worry about. If you can't remember what they told you in the orientation, you have a headset with your instructor talking to you the entire time. So have no fear! Let loose and have fun!! I've been to Vegas a million times, and haven't had this much fun. I'm so happy we got to do it. From digging holes, to spinning around, to playing "ball" it was all so epic. Not to mention, they offer an option to crush a car!!! Talk about releasing some pent up aggression! Ha! I would definitely go back, and will recommend to others. Such an awesome concept. We went Monday Feb 19th. I had no idea what to expect. After check in there was a short video, then you meet your personal instructor. I was with Patrick! He gave me a headset, went over the controls and guided me through the headset. I knocked over tires, put them back, picked up & moved dirt. Patrick was so much fun and patient. I'd absolutely do this again. Afterwards there is a graduation, you can take pictures, you are given a certificate and you can purchase a plaque with your photo. It was the most fun I've ever had. Wow, this place is incredible. It booked up super quick so make reservations early. Michelle helped me with reservations and she was so sweet and accommodating. Do not book here! We made a reservation and then COVID-19 struck and all of Las Vegas (including Dig This) was shut down. We contacted Dig This far in advance of the reservation date to cancel and at first, they refused to issue us a refund. Then they tried to offer us a partial refund and the balance as a gift certificate. We never received the gift certificate. I complained to Dig This and to my credit card company. Only recently has Dig This updated their website to indicate their outrageous cancellation policy. read more

As the mom of a teen who is starting to think his mom is not so cool anymore, I thought it would be fun to surprise him and drive excavators. My husband, son and I had the BEST morning. In fact, I think I enjoyed driving the excavators even more than he did. You don't have that many chances to do something really unique that not many of your friends have ever done. The whole experience was professional from start to finish. I took my 3 year old son here and he had an absolute blast! He had to sit on my lap but he was able to do all the controls himself! We did the 20 minute session which was only $25!! Also, I did not know till we got there but this is the same place Blippi did one of his filming! They have tons of stuff for adults too but it would be easier if you didn't have a child with you. Ricardo, you the man! I found this place from watching a Youtube video and I said, we're doing this! Multiple excavators to choose from, we went ahead and chose the mini excavator simply for the reason that it had a bucket and the blade. The bigger excavator didn't have the blade to push the dirt. First off, as you enter, you're prompted to sign waivers and watch a safety video. It's great when safety videos add some humor to it. Our instructor was Ricardo and from teaching us the safety and controls of the excavators to engaging in conversations with us, it was a great experience. Yes, there's AC inside and you're not dying in the heat while having fun. We even got to play a little bit of basketball towards the end. Highly recommend for date day! An amazing and unforgettable experience! We were scheduled for 2 escavators but one of my co-workers wanted to tag along last minute. I wasn't sure if they could accommodate so I was willing to give up my spot and just take some cool photos.... Plus I was sure the boys would enjoy it more than me. BUT.... The friendly and amazing crew at Dig This was able to get all 3 of us in at the same time and I was still able to be take some awesome photos from inside the cab. Get this.... They have AC inside the machines!!!! Check-in is a breeze but don't plan on having a few drinks before coming here. They take safety pretty seriously and have you do a breathalyzer test. Makes sense because these machines are massive and will do some serious destruction! Once you're all checked in you do a safety orientation and learn how the controls work. Then you walk out to the playground!! It's an entirely different feeling once you are standing next to these machines. We all couldn't stop laughing. You take a few photos before, then they go over the controls once more. You have a headset on the whole time and the staff will guide you if you forget. If you do really well you get a nice certificate at the end . Our instructors Walt and Brandon were amazing and had us controlling these massive machines in no time. Overall a very unique and thrilling experience and not your average Vegas thing. We dug holes, raced escavators, stacked up massive tires, played basketball, did escavator push-ups and spinned our escavators to our hearts content. I want to do the aggression session next and crush an entire car! Thanks for the experience Dig This! We totally DIG IT! read more

Had an amazing experience an the instructor I got was very informative and funny. He definitely made this experience so worth it. I had a permanent smile on my face and I learned how to dig a hole, fill it back up and move tires around and make a pyramid out of them. This was a fantastic father/son experience. We'd never be able to do anything like this anywhere else, so I'm glad I took my friend's advice to try Dig This when we were in Vegas because it was a lot of fun. My only regret was that my son consistently completed all of the tasks faster than I could. The instructor was entertaining and did a great job teaching us how to use the backhoe loader (mostly by helping me know left from right, which somehow becomes ambiguous when operating large equipment). Time flies when you're digging, so make sure you book enough time here. read more

Hands down the most fun I had on our Vegas trip! I was trying to choose between the Excavator and the Bulldozer then I found the Backhoe Loader, named Woody, and got the best of both worlds. Ron was a fantastic instructor. He explained all the controls, gave me step by step guidance and then let me work through a task on my own and reminding me of steps where I needed it. Overall it was a good experience. Check in was easy when we arrived, our instructor was nice and informative. We booked a 30 minute kids dig for 3 kids, from 1:40-2:10, but the session ended at 2:00. We were a little disappointed in that for the price we paid. They took pictures when we arrived but never offered them to us. My husband went back in to ask about them, and ended up purchasing a picture in a plaque and two printed pictures, and the digital copies for $60, which seems a little high as well. Overall, the kids had a blast which is the most important thing, but it was definitely pricey to be cut short. read more

The headset communication between you, your team, and your instructor makes the whole thing like a unified spy mission-you never expect so much to happen in such a safe and thrilling environment, and being outside in a/c is soooo great after being inside so much for Vegas. **ACCESSIBILITY** Incredibly adaptive and helpful for those with disabilities, those who use mobility aids, and with my service animal. Very safe stairs to use to get into the machinery. Staff is very aware and willing to make fantastically useful accommodations. Just ask. **THERAPEUTIC** The absolute best therapy I have found in recovering from loss of coordination vestibular function, balance, hand/eye coordination and internalizing verbal commands following massive headaches injuries and cerebellar and brainstem strokes. Beyond the new challenges presented in a safe environment, also profoundly healing to note my overall progress. Culmination of thousands of hours of work for me, and for them, too.
