We stopped into Digby's Pub and Patio before the Indiana Purdue game after walking over from our hotel. It was extremely cold out, so we stayed inside and grabbed seats near the bar. We ordered a couple drinks during happy hour and shared an order of cheese bricks, which are basically oversized rectangular cheese sticks. Everything came out quickly and the bar service was friendly and efficient, which was appreciated given the pregame crowd. Overall, this is a solid bar option in Lafayette and worked well for a quick stop before heading to the game. Nothing fancy, but fast, friendly, and reliable for drinks and pub snacks.

Finally I can throw all the stars for this place! Digby's has become the once a month hotspot for burgers! And those cheese bricks, o my lanta, you have not lived, loved, put this down on your list of things before you die. Buffalo milk mozzarella deep fried cheese bricks, this is it, a spiritual moment. I have converted many friends. The sweet goo of raspberry sauce to dip, hallelujah! Whoever came up with this appetizer has won their wings and halo. The burger of the month has made this my church for the beef encounters of the divine bovine kind. Sadly Scotty's is no more and Big League stopped their pb and j waffle burger. But hello father this is a win, Pickle Rick, Mediterranean, November and December need their own cathedral to Caramel Apple, Octoberfest, and chipotle jam burgers. Yes they're that good! Forget most of the menu, it's all burgers, cheese bricks, and surprisingly the ahi app had us tickled pink too. Service is spotty, there's a nice four percent savings on using cash but they forget to mention it. There's also a great rewards program, also often forgotten. Perhaps the most disappointing is nothing on draft only bottles. The cocktails are very small except for the excellent Bloody Mary. Parking is easy especially weekends and after five. Summer patio is a massive win tho it does get awfully noisy with live music. Besides AJs and Black Sparrow, Lafayette has no other place I can do easily recommend for a burger and life changing buffalo cheese bricks.

Hit or miss here. I've had some really great orders and some real misses. Seems it depends on who ya get and when the service is. I enjoy the laid back atmosphere but debating if I should still eat here when at Purdue.

Tenderloin, the size of a child...almost
Ian C.

Came in Friday evening about six, and between indoor and outdoor seating, was about half full. Pros - Portion- got the tenderloin and as you can see from the picture, it was about the size of a small child (kidding...kind of...) - Options- While the menu is not large, there is something for everyone Cons - Prices- Some things are very reasonably priced, some not so much. - Service- the service is terrible! VERY unfriendly and every time they interact, act like they are at the dentist. They seemed more interested in talking amongst themselves (bartenders and waitresses) than helping customers...but what do I know. Overall, it could have been worse, but if wait staff were just a tad more friendly, it would greatly increase most customer satisfaction. For my meal, tenderloin with their housemade chips, and water, it was $15 and change.

Cheese bricks! I'm a sucker for some fried cheese and these were great. Each "brick" is a 1/4 lb some bring some help or you may go into a cheese comma. I also tried the fried pork loin sandwich and it was excellent. Lots of crispy pork. They had some great food and drink specials the night I went. Our group sat on the patio. It had excellent views of the old courthouse across the street. Lastly our service was fantastic. We had a decent sized group and everything came out in a timely manner. Drinks were refilled regularly. And most importantly the server was friendly.

A cute pub and friendly staff. We made reservations, but didn't really need to, we learned. We started with the cheese bricks and deep fried pickles. Both came out piping hot with great dipping sauce. I loved the berry sauce with the cheese sticks. They were HUGE. Three of us couldn't eat them all. I had the lamb sliders and they were so good! Loved the lamb option and the freshness of the tzatziki, feta, and onion on them. I had a side of the fries with the cheese and buffalo style sauce. SO GOOD! My husband had the pulled pork and my daughter the Caesar salad. Everything was great! I also had the mojito and it was refreshing and delicious!

I've been to Digby's a few times since my last review, most recently this past weekend with a friend. We split an order of cheese bricks (which I highly recommend for any cheese fan -- the rum raspberry sauce really takes it over the top!). Their salads are also available as wraps, and I got the chicken bacon ranch wrap (delicious). We sat on the patio (my first time), and it was so relaxing! Try to make a reservation if you want to guarantee a patio table on a weekend. We lucked out! Service was a little slower than on previous trips, but it was a very busy evening.

Steak tip sandwhich

I've been here a few times and I can say this a reliable spot. The food is pretty good for a bar and the service is good. The waitresses are always nice and help with the menu. The food does take a little while to come out but if you're going for the vibes the time will just pass. The outdoor patio is the highlight of the place and I usually sit out there whenever I go. Not a lot of Sun and cool enough with the plants around. You can also control the music with the juke box inside. I also like that they have games you can play with friends. All in all, pretty good food, good prices (and deals through the week), and great service

First off, I have always picked where I want to sit, the part about "server is busy, and that table is served by a specific server" is nonsensical, they should really change or add a server to the seating area that customers prefer (near window, more lighting etc) rather than having the customer sit somewhere else for their servers convenience. Secondly, I picked up the glass for water and it smelled like an egg, I called out the server (who already seemed annoyed to change of seats) and told her about the glass and the response I got was "we wash our glasses in vinegar so it must be that", well first off, I know the difference between vinegar and egg smell, secondly, it was disgusting and I cannot drink water in it, instead of arguing, she really should have just changed the glass, it's not that hard.

All of us were dressed in our church attire and arrived on time for our scheduled reservation. Unfortunately, the reception we received was unwelcoming--the host's comments and tone made us feel judged based solely on our appearance. It was an uncomfortable start to what should have been a simple family meal. Our waiter, by contrast, was wonderful--kind, attentive, and genuinely professional. The food was also very good, and we appreciated the quality of the dishes. However, the overall experience was overshadowed by the attitude at the front desk, which set a tone that made us feel our presence wasn't valued. It's disheartening to feel out of place somewhere you've made a reservation and planned to enjoy with your family. Sadly, despite the good food and great table service, I couldn't fully enjoy the meal because of how we were treated upon arrival.
