A nice place to frequent for either the awesome patio that regularly has live music or the inside bar/restaurant with nice whiskey themed decor and various bar arcade machines. Digby's has regular specials, but my favorite lately has been the chili. However, I do have to note that consistency is a bit of a problem here. I've ordered the chili 3 times and each time it has been different, although still tasty. The beer and liquor choices are extensive but I usually go with a beer due to their impressive selection of craft options. I created this account just to leave a review after our experience at Digby's for dinner last night. We sat outside and our server Laney was one of the best waitresses we have ever had. I could be mistaken but it appeared she had every table outdoors and never stopped moving! She informed us as we opened menus what they were not able to serve out of the kitchen due to a busy weekend. We have family in the restaurant business and assured her we understood as she seemed very apologetic. After ordering she returned to the table with news they were now out of French fries which we all had ordered with our meals, but offered us any side for no additional price! She kept us laughing and never forgot a single thing we asked for juggling what looked like 5 other tables. She seemed to be one step ahead at all times, but told us with a laugh that she was not but that our experience with Digby's mattered. The food was WONDERFUL! My son and daughter in law were discouraged when they heard the shortened menu, but both had fish and burgers cooked to perfection, bravo to the kitchen! Laney asked us to please leave a review sharing our experience and said she couldn't remember ever receiving a negative review or a positive one by name, I hope this reaches her! I love this place. I was on vacation I came the first night and excellent then the next night I went to a garbage place called Lafayette Brewery. I waited at brewery for more than 40 mins and they didn't even start my food. So I came here again for my previous experience and I loved it. I recommend this place if you like good food. I've been here a couple times with my boyfriend and our dogs and have always had a great experience. We try to always find a place that are dog friendly and there aren't that many in this town. The staff have been attentive and even offer to bring our dogs bowls/water for them or if we ask they are more than accommodating. We've only been there for more of a brunch or early dinner and can't say much about the evening/night scene but I'm sure it's a good atmosphere with live music. I give it 4 stars instead of 5 bc I wish they had a larger/variety of food choices bc I get the same thing everytime. All the food is above average for lafayette, cheese bricks (GIANT CHEESE STICKS) with the rasberry sauce is very interesting and quite tasty lol definitely enough to share. the wings(all you can eat on wednesdays) and tacos(special on tuesdays) are cheap/on special but not the best. I've been here twice. The second time I came here it took over an hour to order our food and the restaurant wasn't even busy. After ordering drinks I had a mimosa spilled down my back and my friend had his beer spilled on him. Neither were taken off our tabs. My burger had so much mustard I had to remove lettuce and wipe the excess mustard off with napkins. I was charged for jalapeños that were listed as free on the menu. Only reason I gave 4 stars is because their French fries are the best fries I've ever had and their bloody Mary's are good. read more

Can you DIG IT? I can dig it! Hooray for Digby's. This is my favorite hot new place to hang out in this area! Digby's replaced Avidity. The patio is used. A deck was built outside rapidly. Also, they serve a Duck BLT that is incredible. Lafayette officially has Duck? Score! If you don't want a meal, try an appetizer. I love "cheese bricks" and go here to meet up with friends for appetizers, meals, drink, and socializing. This is the spot. Digby's nailed it. Downtown Lafayette all seems to get to know each other in the small business world, but Knickerbocker, Professor Joes, and Digby's I have been told have the same owner. Whether that is the word in the hood or fact matters not. The water glasses are logos all three places (surprise every time). Knickerbocker for a classy martini at the oldest bar in the state of Indiana, professor joes pizzeria for sports television and a beer, and Digby's certainly has its own place in this town. Proudly posted established in 2015 on the inside back wall and I hope this business is here to stay. This IS the hidden gem the 30's have brought me to and I have waited for. This bar was the most unprofessional place I have ever been too. The bartender Kevin Johnson was the rudest person I have ever met. He refused to serve me even after presenting multiple identifications. One was a military ID that he didn't even look at and then ruined my state ID. Then proceeded to get a "second opinion" from the other customers who were there. I highly do not recommend this establishment. I am from out of state and was supposed to fly home the next day. If you are looking for good customer service never go to Digbys or you will just get treated like scum. read more

Pretty much what you would expect for a college town pub. However, it seems to be an older 30s plus crowd which is great because there is not much for adults here. Dinner the other night was disappointing. I asked for mayo and mustard on the side for my hamburger, it was put in my burger. Another person in my party ordered a hamburger medium but it was well done. Another person ordered salad, there was way too much lettuce. You could have made another salad. Nothing was hot either. We celebrated my husband's birthday here and had made a reservation far in advance because a popular local band was scheduled to perform. Not only was our table ready to go when we arrived but the wait staff was amazing. Great timing on drink refills and very nice! I did not get our waiter's name, unfortunately, but he was always smiling and it made the whole night even more enjoyable. Cool hangout place with live music! This is definitely the meeting place for live music enthusiasts. We ordered the Wasabi Shrimp, the chicken tenders and the chili. Fri drinks, we had a dragon milk stout and a Kalamazoo stout. Atmosphere: It's definitely a bar/pub. It is super casual, they have live music and the place is busy most of the times at night. It's a great spot for people watching! Also, they have a nice big patio where the live acts play if the weather allows it, so a big plus in the summer. Drinks: They have a great selection of spirits and know their way around a cocktail! Minus points for not having a tab but their selection of bottles is pretty good. Food: It's hearty pub food/comfort food. Ours was pretty good. The chicken tenders are above average Wand they have a house made ranch that is amazing. The chili really varies from average/good to amazing! The wasabi shrimp packed quite the punch so if you are tender when it comes to wasabi, it is not for you but other than that I can very much recommend it! Great place to sit outside for food and drinks. I went on the 4th of July so it wasn't crowded but there was a nice amount of people sitting outside. They have it decorated and set up very nicely on the patio. The waitresses are all nice and check you often. The food is really good for being a pub. I had the portobello mushroom sandwich. It had a sauce on it with onions and lettuce and it was delicious. I got the Mac and cheese as my side and I must say it was pretty good!! We wanted to like this place but unfortunately our experience was not good. First the service was extremely slow while there were only two tables occupied. When our food eventually appeared two out of three entrees were totally wrong. When we pointed it out to them they took them away and brought them back and they were still incorrect!
