I paid $60 to get it delivery, Fedex signed on my package, dropped it off outside the leasing office which is two blocks away from the address I provided. It has been lost since then. Digital Storm have been stringing me along for 8 months, with fake deadlines and no follow up unless I call. Last week tell me that there's nothing they can do about it even though they have all the proof that I did not receive the computer. Ron and Keith from management aren't helpful or transparent. I've had this computer since December 2017 and I've had nothing but problem after problem after problem in fact the first day it came in the connectors that go to the wireless Wi-Fi weren't even screwed in right, it's like they were indented, like put in completely wrong and then the they realized they were too far ahead to start over so they decided to just leave it like that even after a quality check that has three rounds, not to mention the motherboard was set too far back from the PCI slots, AND the water cooling system fans we're on the wrong connectors and possibly configured with the incorrect layout( pump above the loop, still researching) also excessive thermal paste use the list goes on so don't ever buy from these guys! They should warn people about compatibility issues while using there shoddy building webpage. They don't know what they're doing, seriously, just stay away. I was very pleased with my experience with Digital Storm. They kept me up-to-date on the progress of the build, inspections and shipping information. I never felt out of the loop. The build (Vanquish 3 Level 4) was also shipped sooner than I expected. They received my order on Monday and it was at my door by the very next Monday. After missing UPS on the arrival date, I went to the UPS customer service center to pick it up, which they wouldnt allow because of shipping restrictions. They told me I had to call the shipper and have them lower the restriction. I called Digital Storm near the end of the day, and not only were they very friendly and helpful, but they also didnt hesitate to contact UPS. Within a matter of minutes, I was walking to my car with my new computer. The computer build itself was top notch and well put together. It was packed carefully and was pretty much ready to go as soon as I powered it up. It came with a nice little binder containing important documents (specs, warranty info etc) and backup discs. This is a nice step up compared to some other custom PC builders Ive ordered from in the past (where documents and discs are just thrown in the empty motherboard box). Overall, I was walked away a happy customer without regrets or buyer's remorse. When the time comes for me to buy another PC, I look forward to buying from them again. read more

I have ordered a pricey keyboard and tower from DigitalStorm.com. Everything for the first few weeks seemed to be going just fine. I received semi regular updates about my PC order's progress, including information on a delay or two. Even received one or two non automated emails it seemed. However the last time I heard from them was on Decemeber 11th, 2018. They stated the next estimated shipping date was 7-12 business days from December 11th, 2018. The problem is today is January 1st, 2019. I understand that they have holiday orders, but they should have at least given me some notifications. I have read other complaints mentioning ridiculous wait times and/or getting lost in the shuffle type stuff, which were supposedly not resolved until they voiced a lot of complaints aimed at DigitalStorm.com. I have also made my first payment to them via Bread, their financing partners. I would be happy to pay them more if they would just send me my PC order in good shape. They are noted for taking extra time to put everything together and test it. But that should have either ended by now or I should have received an email as to why it has not finished. This is complex... I waited 6 weeks for the Lumos pc (which means light), and it came without lights... because when I built it and clicked through add-ons for the light pc, the default was no lights. I contacted support. They sent me lights that I've given up trying to put in because apparently I won't get the three light rings in the front, so why bother. Then I contacted support 3 times about software to control the fans. Three times they closed my ticket without answering my question. To be honest, the pc shreds for gaming, but the overall experience has left me with a bitter taste in my mouth. Unfortunately, I can't recommend. read more

Very upset at the lack of communication to the costumer and failure to hit multiple deadlines you as a company set for yourselves. I placed a order for a PC on 4/15/20 and the website said it would ship close to the end of April no big deal, well end of April is closing and I haven't gotten a single update so I call and they say early May so again I give you guys the benefit of the doubt with the global health crisis going on and everything, well early May comes and I don't hear anything so I call on 5/7/20 and they say oh it should ship this week or the next well come to find out that was a load of crap because it took till yesterday 5/13/20 for me to get a solid ship date and it took me sending a message on the site the day before then calling not once but twice just to be told it won't ship for till the 5/25/20 and by the time it actually gets to me it will probably be June. The wild thing is my buddy decided to build his PC and ordered the parts from you guys and I put in my order on the same day as him he got all his parts within a week and a half of his order and built the PC in less then a couple hours on his first ever build, so riddle me this why is it that it takes you guys who in your own words have "over a decade of experience in building the world's most advanced custom gaming computers" over a month for one PC and I don't want to hear the it takes time for all the stress testing because at the most that should take a day. I don't write many reviews but I felt compelled to write this one because I couldn't believe all the negative comments by previous posters. That is not to diminish or take away from their experience but it is very contrary to my recent purchase/experience with Digital Storm. I recently bought one of their "Apollo" models on March 10, 2016, maxed out as much as my budget could afford. Not having the IT savvy to build a computer like this on my own, Digital Storm made the most sense for me price wise and spec wise. Allowing me the ability to upgrade it as needs be, without spending a fortune. After I submitted my order I was regularly notified, via email, as to where my new computer was in the process of being built. I was amazed with how efficient and timely they were in keeping me updated on what specifically was going on, detailing what they were doing and giving a timeline of when I could expect delivery. Two weeks later, here I am, with my new rig and I couldn't be happier. As a total gamer nerd it has exceeded every expectation. I can run Tom Clancy's Division (came with purchase) on maxed out settings and it looks glorious! Truly awesome. I cannot express enough how pleased I am with my purchase. I highly recommend Digital Storm for folks like me who know what they want, but don't know how to build it on their own. On a final note, one of the great things about the Apollo is that it is highly modifiable and upgradable. I've had my Vanquish for 2 years now and it still runs like a champ. Lightning fast boot up from the SSD and clean config right out the box. This machine does everything I want it to and more. Totally satisfied with the computer for production and gaming. I haven't thrown a lot of high end 3D work or rendering tasks at it but I'm not worried at all to run anything anytime. The best part of their customer service is that I haven't even had to think about contacting them even once. I'd buy from them again when I need a new machine in about 5-6 years. read more

Okay, I'm back and my rating hasn't changed. In fact, I would gladly lower it if I could; I'm furious. Since my last review, my computer has broken two more times and now I'm the laughing stock of my friends for buying a four thousand dollar paperweight. So I had thought about updating my review to a three-star rating if I got my rig back with the damage covered by the warranty - which I did! However, it broke again approximately two months later. In my previous review, the GPU water block was leaking onto the bottom of the chassis and one of the memory sticks had some defunct sectors. The second time my rig died was because the water block over the CPU had a fine crack in it, leading to another leak. It took two weeks for me to get my rig back after they repaired that. Now, my rig is sitting on my kitchen counter because of another leak. I took a look at it and it looks like one of the washers for the compression fitting for the tubing above the CPU block had cracked. Right now, I don't know what to do. Every time this piece of garbage breaks, it's a two week turn around to get it back from repairs and then it's just going to break again a month or two later. I can't return it because it's past the return period. In my mind, I lost four grand. I'm starting to think that Digital Storm just bulk orders broken parts and refurbished parts to save a dime. If you're reading this review to decide whether or not to buy a computer from Digital Storm... just don't. Like, holy mother of god, just don't. read more

Short version: It took a very long time (longer than their estimate) to get the final product. I received my PC just under two MONTHS after ordering. However, the final product is fantastic. Would be 5 stars if it was faster. Longer version: Price: You pay more for them to--theoretically--save you time building a PC. I paid approximately 500.00 USD more to have them build, source, and install the parts for me. Was it worth it? Honestly, yes. This is highly subjective as it relies on how an individual values their time/energy. At this point in my life I'd rather pay someone 50 percent more to deal with building a PC. If that sounds crazy to you, then don't do it. Simple. Timeframe: They seem to have a dedication to quality to the point of completely missing their timing approximations. This combined with a undoubtedly busy season means I ordered expecting about a month between the invoice date and shipping. I got nearly twice that. A total of 50 days. Quality: Apparently I was lucky because my PC wasn't damaged or hurt during shipment. I've noticed a large amount of these reviews are negative for (mostly) some shoddy shipping. But my experience was fine. When I opened the box and got the PC out I made sure to check connections, check seating of video card, check seating of RAM, etc. It was all solid and I didn't have to do a thing. Performance: Fans were installed correctly and the Windows 10 Install only came with the usual bloat Microsoft adds. I've monitored temps over the past 24 hours under various loads and it seems perfectly fine, which suggests thermal paste and MOBO/PSU are performing as expected. Communication: Not terrible, could be much better. If I was a consultant @ Digital Storm I'd revamp this immediately. They have a staging system that updates you as your PC moves along the "assembly" line. It...doesn't tell the end consumer much when your first three stages take longer than the last three plus time to ship to the customer. I suggest they take some staging to a more micro level in the beginning ("We've sourced your video card! It is on the way to us and/or in our warehouse.") instead of relying on customers to trust being in the dark. People get understandably anxious because to the vast majority of Americans 1500~ USD is a SIGNIFICANT amount of money. They want to and deserve to know more. When I inquired about the status of my order once they basically told me what I already knew. Didn't reassure me that everything is fine and they are super busy or anything. Just...told me what I knew. They need to work on this the most. read more

The build was delayed because of the Nvidia 3090 shortage. Okay. Understood. I finally got my rig in late January 2021. After a few weeks I was experiencing graphic anomalies. The POS PNY 3090 crashed. Why does my $7,000 PC have a PNY graphics card? It was replaced. All was fine. A few weeks later my CPU cooler fan started to rattle bad. Click...click...click. They sent me a replacement CPU cooler fan assembly. Here I am with a $7,000 computer replacing a 3090 graphics card and now a CPU cooler fan assembly. WFT! The CPU cooler fan assembly was not an easy task to complete. Never again Digital Storm! The Silverstone power supply revs up during any interaction. I open a Window and the power supply revs up! Please remember to factor in Shipping & taxes (9.5% here in California). I contacted customer support to ensure that I would be getting the proper SLI bridge I wanted and was handed over to John. He was extremely helpful, and even knew of a specialist who had previous experience with the specific questions I needed answered. After some dedicated troubleshooting regarding which power supply I should get for the workstation, John kept me informed every step of the way. Where can I start? If you're thinking about buying from here watch out for their 20% labor charges. I normally build my PC's however I felt as though I should give this company a chance because they really caught my eye... All their products and components are so expensive and I assume it's due to their "Professional" skills. I purchased a bolt 3 and payed alot of hard earned money. I was told by their representative about how trustworthy they are, and how great their techs are etc... 1 month after receiving my computer my PSU fails and won't boot properly. My bills says: "2,535" but my bank statement says "2609!" what the hell is that about? not only that however they lack the intelligence to do simple math. A rep told me that they will refund the full price I paid (2,609) and subtract $73.83 for shipping. I swallow my pride and say fine. As I read on I read "the grand total of the refund will be $2,460.36 if we do find a hardware issue with the PC" I will never buy from here again. I put my guard down because I felt as though they really cared about my experience. But like most companies, they're only in it for your pockets. I spent about 5 grand on a new computer hoping to get top notch performance. The result? the computer blue screens every time the processor hits 100%. Ugh!!! Why didn't I read the reviews before ordering? I ordered my sons computer on 10/29th to give it ample time to get here before Christmas. Being a single mom this almost $3000 computer is a huge splurge for me. My order has been stuck is phase 4 since 11/13 I call up last week only to be told (like others on here) that they are waiting on a part and if I don't move to phase 5 this week (it didn't) there is no way I will receive it by Christmas I am so upset because of the price this is the only item my kid was getting now Christmas morning he will have nothing but a stocking!!! I ordered my PC on 3/21/2020 and my credit card was charged on 3/23/2020. Due to the coronavirus, I ran into financial issues and called on 3/31 9:15 AM time frame to cancel the order. I spoke to Andrew if I am not mistaken and said that they will cancel the order and haven't started on even picking the parts. I received a a call 4-6 hours later back from him stating that they will charge 4.9% of my fee which is around $186 for the cancellation because of payments setup. It's pretty frustrating that they would charge your credit card before even pick the parts and mention no part of this fee inside the ordering e-mail or even on the phone. I had to look it up to find out the fee but $186 is quite a lot I can use especially during this tough time. I was hoping to come back in the future when all this virus is over with a steady income but due to this reason I don't see why I would even come back. I have been eyeing this company for a build for about 3 years now and that change within minutes of that 4.9% charge for cancellation. I've purchased the Syndicate and Bolt from this company. Very stable machines. They even sent pictures of my custom Syndicate as it was being built. Upon receiving my Syndicate I noticed that my 2 hard drives were not set up in Raid 0. I received a detailed, hand written email with pictures on how to do this. The DS forum is a also a great resource to find tech support. If you live close to DS, I highly recommend driving to their facility to pick up your machine. I've heard of several customers receiving damaged computers due to mishandling during the shipping process (I forgot who ships their machines). read more

(PLEASE READ BEFORE PURCHASING A HIGH END PC) I purchased a Digital Storm PC back in September 14th , Finally received it Mid-October just to see 100 Celsius on all cores of a 9900k on a 4400$ copper tube build. I spoke to tech support Brian Frazure he issued a shipping label on November 3rd last email I would ever receive from him. After a week goes by i was still getting billed thru GetBread which was very great at communication during all of this. They had to issue a refund ticket to digital storm since i was getting no response from tech support or digital storms management. Early December i was able to speak to a manager Ron and he seemed nice and informed me that they are moving warehouses and that was reason for delay of refund. He mentioned that i would probably have to pay interest on the first month bill from Bread and refund would be processed once pc has been tested. (Even though it had been at warehouse over 2 weeks at the time). Finally today at 12-18-19 Bread informs me a refund of $3,726.40 has been processed and that i owe $656.65 for a PC i had a week that only overheated during gaming. I contact Ron again he declines mentioning me having to pay just interest with bread. Which i was like fine but whats the issue with 656.65 owed. He said it was a restock fee of 15%. I was like how is this not a full refund it meets the criteria of a full refund. PC was returned within 30 days ,Defective, and all accessories returned. Then he say's that RMA could not duplicate overheating issue. I was like literally play any game longer then 45 minutes and it will reach max temp on all cores and underclock and stutter. He said they could not duplicate with there benchmark test. So basically at this point even with screen shots and friends over witnessing the overheating, it magically fixed itself on shipping.So instead of calling or even emailing me before processing refund to inform me that they found no problem's with PC and giving me option to keep it and test it myself instead they go ahead with a standard refund and restocking fee 656.65$ before letting me know that the full refund is being declined and giving me Valid Proof or a chance to see if they are lying about even checking it myself. I have purchased many pc's over the years from Xidax , Cyberpower even Alienware have all been great... Especially Xidax, Wonderful customer support and team. Digital Storm has such lack of communication and blatant disregard to helping me navigate thru this mess, its almost kinda amazing that they are still in business. A while back in November 2018 I purchased a lumos from DS and it took for ever for it to get to me. I got the computer on January 4th and i was impressed fast, better graphics, I could actually play my games without lag. All was going well until 10 days later when the power supply went bad. I called got some help from a lady named Cindy had me do the paperclip test when that failed she went through with me on the return policy. It took about a week for me to receive the return re-label address. During that week I'd thought I'd call and get a better power source instead of the one I had it was the (600W Digital Storm Performance Series) and i upgraded it to the (750W Corsair RM750x). I still have yet to receive my computer back that they received it on January 28th. I had my hopes up when on the Jan. 30th I receive 4 emails at once sating it cleared stages 2-5 within 1 minute. I created a yelp account specifically to rate this company. Bottom line, stay far away. If you're tech savvy, build you're own. If you're not, pay a friend to assemble a rig or just go in a different direction. I bought my PC around 2015 and it was a problem from day one. The quoted delivery time was double what was expected. When I got it, the fan lasted maybe a year before it had to be replaced. Now there's a problem with the power supply, and I can say enough about how shoddily the products are made. Their customer service is alright but slow and undermanned. Their mark ups are high. And their products are awfully built. I dropped roughly 2000 dollars on one of these, and I regret every dollar. My Digital Storm Saga, or buy from someone else... It all begins when I decided to treat myself to a new computer. I've been doing incremental improvements to my computer for years and I wanted to start over fresh. I did some looking around and came across Digital Storm, the reviews that I found were okay, but what sold me was that they used retail components in their computers and not some modified or adapted version like you get with some major manufacturers. So, I took the plunge. The lead time for a computer form them was six weeks, but I was pleasantly surprised when the computer arrived much sooner than expected. That was my last good feeling. On the day I received it, I set it up, turned it on, and immediately got my first error screen (Blue Screen of Death or BSOD). It was the be the first of many. It was late and I really didn't have the time to fully go through the computer to try and figure out what was going on, so I turned it off and went to bed. The following day, I was pleasantly surprised when the computer started right up and seemed to be working, but no, this was just a brief interlude for more problems. The BSODs were soon back. Time to do some basic troubleshooting, I shut it down and made sure that everything was seated correctly, I reseated the memory, reseated the video card, made sure that all the cables were secure and tried again. It did seem to work better, but by no means trouble-free. I was still getting periodic BSODs. Time to run some diagnostics, and low and behold, I had a bad stick of memory. Time to call support. My call took me to some form of gatekeeper that took my information and promised me a callback from a technician. I was told that the call would be after my workday. It wasn't, it was right in the middle of my day and if I hadn't been free from work at that time, I would have missed the call. Troubleshooting was non-existent, but I did go over the steps I had taken to determine the problem and it may have ticked all the boxes for her, and she determined that she would need to send me new memory. Great, right? Hold on a minute though, I had to have the highly inflated cost of the new memory placed on hold on my card so that I could have the memory shipped to me. The only alternative was to send the memory to them and wait for new memory to be sent to me. I reluctantly chose to let them hold the funds. The memory saga doesn't end there, no, rather than sending the memory by some expedited method, it was sent by ground shipping... I got to wait a week for the memory. When I get the memory, I'm a week and a half into owning the computer and all I have is a large 50 lb. paperweight. Because, you see, not only did the new memory not fix the problem, now the computer wouldn't even turn on. It went from bad to worse. During this time, I received one of those form messages from the company asking me how they did, so I told them. This did elicit a response, I got an email from their Digital Storm Management team wanting to know how they could fix the problem. I was hopeful that I would have a solution, but no, I didn't. So a couple of things that I want to interject here. Digital Storm has a 30-day money-back guarantee and we were not at two weeks into that 30-day timeframe and I didn't have a working computer. I was not confident in the hardware I had, so I let them know what my desire to resolve this issue was. They could build me a new computer, from the ground up, and send it to me and I would send them the defective one back, they refused. My second option was that I send them back the computer, they rebuild it, send it back to me, but the 30-day money-back guarantee wouldn't start until I had a working computer in my hands, they didn't like that either. That left the only option that I could see, and that is to return the device. When I discussed this last option initially with the person from the management team, he told me that I would be responsible for the shipping, so I would not be getting a full refund. Think about that, I received defective equipment, not just once, but twice (the new memory was also defective), and they are going to hold on to the shipping charges. What's worse is that in my last phone conversation with him, the management team representative worded it in such a way that I was given to understand that I would receive a full refund. Bought new computer, less than one year, screen color changes, 3 year warranty, kept making time for them to call and remote in, never called as scheduled, finally called today and not to remote in, said probably graphic card, want me to pay shipping and $240 on my credit card till they get card back. Do not buy off this company, out in cold if problem. Was told $240 dollars and was a hold till bad graphic card received and Shipping was $13.88 and the latest email says cost is over $800 and will be refunded. Shipping only $13.88 Now who is telling the correct info. Not willing to give my credit card info because as you can see varying information. If you read Mr. Jericho's response total contrast. EDITED 7/26: Even though a new employee answered the phone and told me he wasn't ready to take any calls (I misunderstood the context of his response), and even though the automated attendant hung up on me several times (it does so after about 30 minutes hold time!), I am going to recommend Digital Storm. Here's why: I got in touch with two members of management to express my dissatisfaction. They listened and they responded (via email). The original issue I had with payment not posting on my bank account was due to the third party go-between, Authorize.net. That company got approval for my debit card payment on 7/21 but held it until yesterday. I don't know if this is normal or not. At any rate, when you purchase a computer from Digital Storm, it is my opinion you are getting the best gaming PC for your budget. Other computer companies (big-name or otherwise) would have cost a minimum of $80 more than what I paid at Digital Storm. I basically got the gaming computer of my dreams; or at least what my dreams could afford. You may experience frustration with Digital Storm's automated attendant (phones) when you call to place your order, or to ask questions. Hopefully they will be updating their system, soon. At any rate... I will post an update once my PC arrives. EDITED 7/25: I have been working with members of management at Digital Storm. They have been helpful and responsive. I cannot stress enough to stay away from this company, and do not look back. I have been dealing with a nightmare of a return and warn others to be careful. I ordered my computer on 7/19/2019 reading the reviews on multiple sites both good and bad I thought I would take the plunge. 7/26/2019 - Machine makes it to stage 3 7/26/2019 - Receive an Email stating that they are having an Intel Shortage of CPU 7/26/2019 - Email is recalled, this should have been the time I canceled, but went no problem, I will stick it out. 7/31/2019 - Stage 4, and then 30 minutes later Stage 5 8/8/2019 - Send an email asking what is up with is being stuck in Stage 5, and follow-up with a call, was told they reason was parts were replaced causing additional testing. 8/9/2019 - Stage 6 Quality Assurance Call Multiple times while it sits in Stage 6, told it going to be looked at and shipped out. 8/21/2019 - Email Digital Storm explaining I keep getting the same answers from phone calls and emailing management. 8/22/2019 - Digital Storm emails me response stating it still waiting for a QA person to look at. 8/22/2019 - I threaten to cancel the order as I have waited long enough. 8/26/2019 - Digital Storm writes back hate to lose a customer but will get it scheduled to go out today. 8/26/2019 - Receive an email by mistake from Digital Storm stating VIP urgent must ship today customer thinking of canceling. 8/26/2019 - Stage 7 Packaging. And ships that day. Computer Arrives on 9/3/2017 Open it up power it up Blue Screen and Video Artifacts and then open up a support ticket was after hours. 9/4/2019 - Support works with me and it discovered that I have a bad video card. Explaining they been having a lot of hardware issues with 2080ti cards and windows. 9/4/2019 - They put a hold on my Credit Card, then removes the hold when it determines it has a custom water block need to ship the bad card back. 9/4/2019 - Emails go back and forth with Digital Storm management about my frustration of a non-working machine, and concerns of the 30 days and that they will extend it 1-2 weeks based on the issue that they want me to have a working machine. 9/5/2019 - Shipping label for video card created, with detail instructions and shipped out on 9/6/2019. 9/16/2019 - Video Card Shipped from Digital storm back to me 9/17/2019 - was not home and delivered it on 9/18/2019. 9/19/2019 - Placed the new Video Card into the machine and same issue. 9/19/2019 - Emails go out and now I ask for a refund, as I been without a system now, and pretty much had enough. Talk to Digital storm customer service supervisor explaining my lack of confidence in the system, they offer to build me a new one, and like sorry I can not wait this long again and be without a system and request a refund. Due to the amount they needed management approval and will get back to me. 9/20/2019 - Digital storm emails me saying sorry, we will investigate the system further when it arrives so we can learn from this. 9/20/2019 - Digital storm ask for photos, and supply the photos to them for the return and refund, and asked me to complete a online form of the issue. 9/23/2019 - After shipping places close receive the return label from Digital Storm. 9/24/2019 - System is Shipped back for a refund. 10/3/2019 - System Arrives and I get an email that they are fixing the machine. I call them speak to a nice female who rushes back and tell the engineer that this is refund per Digital Storm Management. They confirmed the system had an issue, and the refund will be no later then the following Friday the 11th. 10/11/2019 - I email Digital Storm, asking where the refund is. Digital Storm emails me back that the power outages have plagued them for the last two days and I will hear from Customer Service Rep about the system. I receive a voicemail 20 minutes later stating all they needed to do is power it on and reset the power and it magically worked. Now where the fun begins, because I asked it was confirmed broken by the tech on 10/3/2019 and magically 8 days later it is now working. Better yet, if that was the case why not reach out to me on 10/4 or 10/5 but no emails or calls from them until I reached out to them on 10/11. Where the person who left the voicemail said I am only in the office for 5 more minutes, I call back no answer. 10/14/2019 - Call Digital storm and they are like sorry it is software issue we will not refund you due to software issues without a 15% restocking fee 4.x% credit card charge. I was like but it was not working on the 10/3 and your techs also said when they troubleshooted it to begin with was a bad part. At this point I am fed up, I am like fine so when would I get a refund? We need time to determine the issue before we refund it. Got a Vanquish II Ultimate about 1.5 weeks ago. I was very impressed with how it was shipped. I have not had any issues with the PC and already beat Crysis 3 and Dead Space 3 on it with no issues. Excel calculations are performing wonderfully. It handles multitasking (having dozens of programs open at once) very well. I was impressed with the fact that they ship the machine with a professional binder of information including the original installation disks. Plus, the computer is by far the CLEANEST installation of Windows I have ever received from any computer dealer. No bloatware or crapware. Hallelujah on that one. I would give them 5 stars, but I haven't had the machine long enough to feel comfortable giving them that. I hope it maintains its stellar performance without future issues. I like the Vanquish II Ultimate because it comes with two hard drives: one solid state and the other a traditional SATA drive. This does wonders for boot up times and loading times. The computer boots in seconds, not minutes. The load time for video games is in seconds as well, not minutes. I haven't dealt with their customer support (which is a good sign I guess :) Also, I no longer have to use my Display Link to handle 3 monitors. This rig can handle 3 monitors on its own - so that's sschweet. I use the Edimax micro usb WIFI since this computer doesn't come with a WIFI card, but it works well with the Edimax. Just be sure to plug it into one of the USB 2.0 ports, not the USB 3.0 ports. Also, when I ordered it, I ordered it as is, I didn't request any special modifications to it. When I install video games, I am sure to install them on the larger SATA drive as I don't want to fill up my Solid State drive. read more

I am truly shocked to read all the negative reviews here at Yelp about Digital Storm. I can only speak for myself, but not only was the service absolutely impeccable, it exceeded every expectation I had. The shipping materials are quite high-end. This isn't the insane wooden crate-style shipping you see at some sites, but my PC was very well protected with around 8 inches of space from the edge of the unit to any side of the box where it was firmly wedged between two sheets of strong plastic wrap buffers that cradled it in mid-air. After placing my order and verifying my identity because I was shipping it to a different location than the billing address, I waited the requisite 72 hours for stress-testing and got my PC a few days later. I got one of the lower-end units, and it is STILL a beast. I sourced every part on PC Parts Picker, and it was still cheaper to buy it from Digital Domain even after shipping! This included 4 years of service plan, lifetime phone support, $150 in credit from nVidia, and a free copy of Watch_Dogs! This was an insane deal. This is easily the best computer I've ever owned, and I have recommended Digital Storm to everyone I know. I worked in retail for many, many years, and here's the number one thing I learned: The tiny minority of people who have problems (that are only natural through human error or when you're shipping electronics via FedEx and UPS where it's anyone's guess what happens to the packages in transit) are by far the most vocal. The vast, huge numbers of people who have perfect experiences often never say a word about it, especially on public sites such as Yelp! All I can tell you is that my experience was 100% perfect in every way, and after a couple weeks with this new machine, I could not be more impressed and satisfied. The Price Range indicator doesn't have a very useful function; Digital Storm offers very inexpensive and VERY expensive machines, but from what I've seen it's very much a competitive pricing model. I'm impressed with their level of customer care, and I'm hopeful that they can look past my rudeness. To any potential customers, I have one piece of advice. Make sure you instruct that the case fans are installed into the motherboard, and not into the power supply. read more
