Bought a Lynx pre built computer around september, after waiting a good month or month and a half for the computer to arrive i was eager to get on and start playing games. the first day i got onto my pc i experienced blue screens, random screen freezes and random black screens following resets. after that i opened a technician ticket of which to this day has been opened for months and yet to find a solution. i've been on call with 2 different technicians about 6-7 times already, the first technician was very kind, talked to me about life and such getting my mind off the stress of the build but i could tell the experience wasn't quite there. after a couple calls and quick assist appointments to try to resolve the issue i was having. we fully wiped my computer, reinstalled windows, i even sent back my ssd which is still in processing and bought a faster ssd the samsung 980 1T. when that new ssd came i was super excited as i was promise that this was the resolution to the issue i was having and then low and behold, blue screen. discouraged i called back up digital storm and asked to speak with a manager. i asked for a refund for my build as at this point i'd just like to build my own pc ( prolly even a better build for the price i paid for this prebuilt ) the manager of customer service replied that i'm passed my 60 days refund policy EVEN tho i've had issues with this pc ever since i got it. he offered me an AWR (advanced warranty replacement) which pretty much means IF they find an issue they will send the part to me, and will cover the delivery charges. the issue i had with this is it's been many months of technical support and phone calls and quick assist meets and still they have no idea what's wrong with my computer not even a glimpse of hope at this point. the manager assigned me to a new technician who at first seemed pretty nice and experienced. we reseated my ram and gpu, then he ran benchmarking tests on my pc regulating my ram and gpu. my score came back fine but the issue still hasn't been resolved still blue screening and random crashes. 5:00 Pacific time rolled around, digital storm was closing for the night and instead of the guy continuing to help me, he threw up his hands and wrote it off as a software issue saying "it must of been something i installed on my computer". but going back to the issue, it started blue screening THE DAY I GOT IT even before i started installing games and apps on my pc. i was frustrated and i think the technician understood that in the tone of my voice because he started talking to me like i was incapable and didn't know what i was doing. he started in detail describing to me basic things that i already know, being rude and giving me attitude. when the call hung up he emailed me a list of tests to run on all the components of my pc. i will be running these tests tomorrow morning and if they come back positive meaning all my components passed the tests, digital storm truly made me feel like i'm S.O.L. Wish me luck! I do have t say i am very disappointed. the customer service is not great at all. I had to completely downgrade from at 3080 ti water-cooled to a regular 3080 because they didn't haven't any 3080 ti's stock. ( which is fine i understand) no one reached out to me or my wife stating this was the issue. second problem i was told that my PC was to ship on Dec 17th and it has not due to a QA problem. ( again which is fine no one reached out to say anything). My wife and I are traveling the last two weeks of the year to meet family and spend the holidays where it is snowing. The PC was supposed to be here before I left but now I have to change plans and have my wife start traveling without me so I can wait on this pc. I order this PC back before Thanksgiving on November 22nd. It's almost Christmas time come on now. that's crazy. If customer service would do their jobs and reach out to people and informed them about their PC's that they spend thousand of dollars on than people would get so pissed off at them. read more

So this was an absolutely wonderful experience. The technicians are also the sales people; They are extremely knowledgeable because of this. They never try to upsell you, are brutally honest, will actually recommend less expensive options when you're considering making a redundant purchase. Not only this; They legitimately have the best support ever. I got a full education on technology for free. I had so many questions and must have called in a million times and they always seamed happy to hear from me (someone's lying lol). I'm telling you - order from these guys now! As mentioned in other reviews somehow the technician just love to make the system boot from HDD. It is extremely slow. First time I turned on my computer; I almost felt nostalgic, throw back to my elementary school time when I would power on the computer and go brush my teeth. However, ironically even they choose to boot from HDD the system is extremely unstable. My computer constantly wakes itself from sleep and blue screen is a common. I have to reinstall windows and re-config bios to ensure the system working properly. Hardware is beautiful but tuning is as confusing as it can be. I seriously have no idea what they did in stress test because no matter how many tests they have carried you still need to re-config to make your system work properly. I am not sure if this is part of their strategy: to make pre-built system more "fun". The staffs are very nice tho. read more

I recently purchased a custom configured Slade PC from Digital Storm and I am very happy with the computer and the Customer Service that I received. I wanted both a quiet machine and one with hardware suitable for running both Windows and "Unix-Like" operating systems (OSs) such as Linux or BSD. After a bit of research I found that every hardware component that I desired with the exception of the available motherboards supported all of the OSs that I desired. Digital Storm was willing to special order the motherboard of my choice and use it instead of their usual vendor selections. There was a small special order fee, but that was fine. Digital Storm kept me updated on the progress of my machine through the build and testing process. When a needed part became unavailable, Digital Storm contacted me and helped me select a suitable alternate. I was also notified once the machine was ready to ship. My machine shipped as scheduled and arrived in good shape. I elected to pick up my machine at the shipping company office, since I live in a metropolitan area noted for pot-hole riddled streets and did not wish to gamble on any unnecessary bumpy transportation. I unpacked my machine and marveled at how well it was protected. When I finished removing the packing material from inside of the machine, checked the condition of the equipment and plugged it in, it purred to life as expected. I've been tinkering with the machine ever since -- my normal use; I even manage to play a few games from time to time. Recommended. read more

All they have been doing is extending the delivery date way past the expected time they put on their site. It seems that they can not keep their delivery promises they put on their site. Quality is declining. I was a previous long time costumer, but the last two systems I have received had several problems, including faulty hard drives and graphics cards. Troubleshooting the various issues was very time consuming including shipping one of the computers back to them. When we received the computer back it was still crashing. Now we are out of warranty, but still have problems. Even with the long list of issues we had previously with the system and being loyal costumers they are not willing to help out. I appealed to them, was told I would receive an answer within a week and hear nothing from them for a month and a half. When checking in with them they told me that I am on my own doing a warranty replacement through the manufacturer. read more

First off if you want your PC to arrive within a month, DO NOT order from digital storm. Secondly if you want a reliable PC, DO NOT buy from digital storm. I waited 2 weeks over expected ship date, even with the VIP upgrade, with extended warranty. My PC arrived and lasted 26 days and started crashing, I will admit the tech support was helpful and tried but could not fix it after trying for 5 days, my PC will not even boot up for almost a week now. They said my only option was to send it back and wait 2 weeks for them to test it... Ironically my friend who ordered a PC from them the same time as me had the same issues, took way longer than stated to ship, and had hard drive issues. They sent him 4 replacements and all of them failed, he asked to return the hard drive (it was $80) and asked for a different brand. They declined a $80 return when he spent over $4500 on his PC.. They are a money hungry company that is slow moving with horrible customer service. I wish I could go back the the day I order and switch to a different brand. Don't make the mistake I did. Look into different brands, trust me Digital Storm is NOT worth it. If they could at least return my PC it would help out a lot, I'm out $2000 and can't use my PC... read more

My computer was completely tested, shipped, and arrived in about a week. I couldn't believe how quick it was! When I asked why it was a difference in address for my card and the shipping address. Over the phone I asked if they were aware of this problem they said yes. With no communication to the customer it was left to me to find out why I bought but do not have a product. When I cancelled my order 3 minutes later they charged me a processing fee. They told me to dispute it with my cc company. I got a computer on 12/17/19 with a promise date of 10-15 business days so would of been cool new years gift. But hella no they took a MONTH and 15 business days to get to me. I had no emails, no calls, no apologies and when i tried to call they were so rude and disrespectful telling me it "probably on the way" when it was 3 weeks in, wtf i paid $1100 for "probably"! And now when i got a different pc from fryes $200 cheaper for same thing btw. They wont even let me return it saying there is a 15% fee! This website is a joke! This is a review of Digital Storm's 17" Behemoth Specs: i7 4910mq Upgraded thermal paste SLI NVIDIA 8GB 880m Graphics 8GB GDDR5 RAM 17" 120hz built-in monitor screen (by my surprise!) Bought this at the end of 2014 and I love this Behemoth. I've had no issues with it whatsoever. Charge holds well. Games like a pro even today. Games I play: -Overwatch -CS:GO -The Witcher 3 -League of Legends -For Honor -Apex Legends -Tomb Raider I also use a CPU and GPU throttler to lower laptop temps (with no performance loss) and it works so well! Easily connects to external monitors and our TV. Also connects to the stereo receiver with no problem. These guys are horrible. I am a developer that has worked on massive titles and was looking for pre-built boxes to develop our next project. Upon placing the order, no indication was made that the product was delayed, and my order sat idle after collecting the cash for two months. Hours were spent on hold trying to get a truthful answer... which never happened. Instead I was told "one more week and your product will ship". Finally I had had enough and attempted to cancel my order. Despite being in complete breach of contract territory they said I would have to a pay 5% fee (no indication on what justification they had) unless i waited another two weeks. Finally ended up canceling and the services staff was downright rude about it. Like I had something to do with their ineptitude. Digital Storm will never see operation in any interactive game I produce unless it is used to wedge under a wobbly table leg... And I'm pretty sure it would likely fail at that as well. read more

After a lengthy search of computers, I decided on a Digital Storm build. As they are custom built, I expected a wait. My order was placed on April 20, 2021 and confirmed and put into Stage 1 on April 21. They immediately charged my card (very unusual for companies I've done business with to charge before shipping). The one and only email I received confirming the order said it would ship in "30-35 business days". On June 1, day 29, I logged in and found my computer was still in phase 1...no progress at all. A chat box appeared so I asked Juan about the status. He told me it was delayed for two weeks due to COVID and unavailable parts. I said I would expect an email to let me know it was late. He snipped "We can't email every customer." REALLY? Any company with good after-sale support would! Then he sent me a screen capture with a GIANT arrow showing a link to the very top of the page where it says, "Read about our response to COVID-19." and told me I should have read it and that my computer was scheduled to be shipped by "the end of June...right on time." His attitude and the total absence of communication convinced me to cancel. The next day, I called to cancel. This person was much more in tune with good customer support (despite...or maybe because he was in tech support and helping out) and told me that it would cost 4+% to cancel, but if I waited another week, it would be without cost because they would have missed the ship date. He also said "I don't see why it can't be built by then, everything is in stock. I'll see if I can expedite, but no guarantee." Another week passed, computer still in Phase 1. ENOUGH! I called and cancelled on June 10. I logged into Dell, customized a machine to be nearly identical. I placed the order and with FREE shipping it arrived 9 days later. I received emails at every step, and it actually shipped and arrived before they initial date forecasts. I sure would have saved a lot of time and not have been subject to Juan's snippy comments if I had just ordered from Dell to begin with. Frankly, if Juan had been helpful instead of nasty, I would not have cancelled...he cost you an order. read more

Shrinking support, ripoff sales Laptop purchased April 2014. Laptop battery no longer charges. I "do the needful" and reseat the battery myself (having learned the consequences of sending your laptop away for months and having it come back in worse shape than when it left) but that doesn't work. By the time I ask for a battery replacement I'm told the laptop is no longer under any warranty. I ask for a replacement, and a battery that used to cost $60 now costs $150 and Digital Storm no longer stocks parts for a laptop they no longer sell or warranty. I manage to find and replace the battery with a new one myself to verify it's not the battery, ask for support. Nothing. In the process, I learned that Digital Storm re-sells Sager laptops. I call Sager (who offers a lifetime support warranty on their laptops)-- they're helpful. Also, they charge roughly 50% for the same laptop that Digital Storm sells. With this knowledge, I recommend that if you're considering purchasing a laptop from Digital Storm, get it from Sager directly instead. Not only will you pay less, but you'll get superior service. Edit: Customer Service Manager for Digital Storm called me about my staff feedback. Apparently staff feedback goes directly into a database that is visible to staff, so if you say anything negative about the staff they're going to see it and if you get someone whose egotistical and self important, they're free to take it out on you before management even becomes aware that the feedback has been left. read more

How Digital Storm deceived me. I just bought an $8,000 PC from DS; after taking four months to get, I put in my other 2070 Super GPU, and it gets FRIED immediately because DS only connected two power cables up to the passthrough power board. I call them up, explaining what happened and taking ownership of my mistake. I probably should have checked that they only hook up the bare minimum. The ads say this is the best Built PC on the market, and I paid an extra $70 for you only to give my two cables. Nevertheless, it was my choice to buy the PC from DS. After all, they have lifetime upgrades, right? WRONG! I called them up and told them all of this and even got a quote for a new GPU or even a Dual 3090 Setup that they wanted to charge me $5600 for, which I am even willing to pay. Now after the sale was over was told they wouldn't sell me an upgrade; not unless I'm buying a new whole pc will they do it. Now, if you're going to spend a small fortune on a pc, with crazy markup on it, would you expect top-notch service. Not with DS; it was a straight take the money and run. So, save your money and shop at a different builder. It will save you upfront, and you'll probably get better service. read more

Ordered a $3000 machine from Digital Storm in early December 2018. It was late and they never responded to any email or phone calls. The machine finally arrived in January and then didn't work properly. They sent a new graphics card but that wouldn't work either. As a result I had to send the machine back. First I'm told it works fine and get emails saying it passed various checks and will be shipped back in 1-2 days. This is February 11. Today, February 25. I called to see why nothing has arrived and am told it's in stage 2 and awaiting QA. I'm three months into my machine life and it hasn't worked and their support absolutely sucks. This will be the first and last machine I ever buy from this company. I should have bought from Alienware instead. Emailed Alex last night and have heard absolutely nothing, as expected. Got in touch, was told the system worked fine. It was sent back and still won't work with a Display Port cable but does work with HDMI. Complete PITA. No emails or contact from the company except when I posted a crappy review on Yelp. Pretty sure I'll not buy fromDigital Storm again or recommend them. The experience generally sucked. read more

They use garbage parts. Garbage Power Supply for there smaller desktops. SPI Power supply? Seriously? They break in 2 years and then when you need to order the part, you cannot find it online. Customer power supply parts that power expensive 3,000 dollar computer. When it breaks, you cannot even buy the part to replace the dead power supply. read more

They couldn't get my computer to me on time, so I had to cancel my order. At first they wanted to charge me a "fee" of 5% for simply cancelling an order that hadn't even entered stage 1 (literally nothing was done for my system). I found the 5% charge against me for not even doing anything on their end to be extremely upsetting. (I sincerely hope they change this policy, it will help make happier customers, but that is their decision). At this point I was a furious x-customer. However when I complained to the CEO and management, they responded immediately and apologized to me, they were favorable and promised to expedite my system freely or grant me a 100% refund (no 5% fee) and get it to me on time. I almost said "yes" but by this time I was already in the process of building my own system so I had to take the refund and they unilaterally refunded me. They did the right thing and were good to me in the end even though I ended up not buying a computer from them, I would have no problem doing business with them in the future. They clearly make great PC's and for me it was simply a matter of having a deadline and they were unable to get my computer to me by then, so I don't fault them. The way they handled my case made me very impressed with them. They want to be great to their customers, and I'm certain of that. Alex wrote me personally, which I appreciated. But truly, I really hope they reconsider dinging customers a 5% fee if an order is cancelled before a computer even gets out of Stage 1 (meaning nothing has happened yet). I understand charging 5% if you cancel after they spent time and effort building your PC, or even sending it to you (this would be a restocking fee), but there is no logical reason to have a policy that charges 5% when nothing has been done. This is the only reason I give 4 stars instead of 5. read more

Ok, I have to say I'm beyond upset with how this is being handled. I appreciated management reading my review and attempting to reach out. I did so and it took days to get a response. When support did finally get back to me I followed their suggestions and the changes didn't work. I understand that's how troubleshooting works, you try the next step and if that doesn't work you try again, etc. But after writing back to them informing them that the suggestion didn't work and I wanted to keep at it, I still have not heard back 3 days later. If you're going to make the attempt to do damage control you need to actually do it and not just look like you're trying!! I'm not sure if there is a lack of effort to help here, or they are understaffed or what, but this is ridiculous. D.S. management, if you read this review don't bother following up. I gave you a fair chance and you blew it. I'm not looking for a hand out, replacement, or anything from you guys at this point. From where I'm sitting it looks like customer care is a joke to you guys and attempts to convince your customers otherwise are insincere or not worthy of serious effort. Digital Storm assembles very nice, non-branded computers. For what you are purchasing, the pricing is very aggressive and they do not install garbageware that you have no interest in. If the following issue had not come up or been resolved in a customer friendly way, they are a 4 star business on my scale. The laptop I ordered stated in the "Overview" copy for the laptop series that they included fingerprint readers for logging in. I found this to be a compelling feature and made sure to order one from this series. When the laptop arrived, I discovered that it did not have a fingerprint reader. When I inquired via customer service, I was told that the overview copy did not necessarily apply to the specific products in a series. Obviously, I was surprised. They also informed me that copy had been removed and they apologized. In a sense, they had confusing or incorrect copy that was a part of the inducement to order. They fixed the copy, but had no offer to fix or compensate the wrong towards my purchase. As a first time customer who does a lot of hardware purchase recommendations to friends, this did not leave a good taste. Otherwise, though, the computer is fine, quiet (SSD), works as advertised (other than the misprint), was delivered on time and even came with a laptop bag. But I am mixed on whether I will purchase from them again. As confusing as new hardware purchases can be, it's difficult to accept the risk that the copy on the website might not match the hardware in the box. In this era of ultra competitive computer hardware pricing, I might as well give the next guy a shot as to risk continued disappointment when Digital Storm has already demonstrated how they feel about customer assurance and confidence. read more

Ordered my PC 2/10/19. I received it 3/15/19. Took the 20-25 BUSINESS days DS said it would take to build my PC. Some of these negative reviews neglect what a business day is. I received the package with no issues whatsoever. DS built it exactly to my specifications. Alex guided me throughout the entire experience. He was very professional and courteous every time I emailed him with a concern or question. I also called a few times to change some things and everyone that I had talked to on the phone was also professional. I do not understand the negative reviews concerning the customer service. Just be patient people. It has been three days since I first booted up the computer and no problems at all. I will update if I ever do run into any issues. Take your business to Digital Storm. Summary: good hardware setup but expect to spend the first day with your new computer updating all its drivers, antivirus and OS patches. Pros: + The hardware they build is great, well put together Cons: - They didn't bother to bring the OS (Windows 7) up-to-date after installing it. I spent the first 5 hours on my machine installing the latest Windows updates, and I had to reboot 5 or 6 times during the updates. - None of the drivers on the machine were up-to-date for any of the devices, including graphics card and sound card. - They didn't install the antivirus software I had purchased as part of the package. The Windows firewall wasn't even turned on. And, they pre-installed a game by downloading it from the internet via steam. In other words, THEY BROUGHT THE MACHINE ONLINE WHILE IT HAD NO ANTIVIRUS OR FIREWALL. Super sloppy, guys. Really awful. - They offer the Creative X-Fi Fatal1ty Champion as one of the sound card options, which I chose because the reviews were decent. They should strike it from their list. On Windows 7 turns out it has a stuttering problem for a lot of people where it will freeze the computer in an endless sound loop until you terminate the game you were playing, and the only way you can fix it is to stay with an older driver, which Windows update will then automatically replace over and over unless you disable automatic updates. read more

After receiving my new PC in very excellent packaging, I was very excited to boot it up. I first noticed that the PC is packaged with large air bubbles which keeps the PC "floating" within the packaging. Very cool. No nicks, dents, or scrapes. I next find the documentation, very well put together and the software discs are easily accessible. So far I am very impressed. I get it out of the box, plug everything all in carefully, and hit the power button. The familiar sound of spinning fans puts a grin on my face. But alas, that is all I get. I check the documentation and it asks me in case of no video to reseat all the components, video card, ram, HD cables. I do so and still no post. Ever since my first PC I have been building my own. I pick the parts, fidget to get them all in the case, eventually install the OS, and then sit back and take pride in that accomplishment. After this last SSD drive failed I decided that I did not want to fuss with continuing to build and maintain my PC. I tried reading all the reviews and settled on Digital Storms. I was truly excited to see the status updates about my machine, it seemed like they were double and tripple checking my PC as it was being put together. I could not wait to get my new custom built PC that I did not have to fuss around with. It would just work when I received it. Anyways back to the point. After an hour on the phone the tech decided that it was indeed a problem with the motherboard. Something happend to the sata connection to the primary drive which shorted the board. To me, seeing how well the PC was packaged I have to conclude that the PC left the installation factory in its current condition. I feel like no actual QA checking of my PC was done. The drives were imaged and jammed into the PC just like any other "Big Box" computer company. The computer would not even post so how was the OS installed? If the PC was in working order when the OS was installed then someone damaged it and let it leave the facility. The best they could do was waste several more weeks of my time to "fix" my machine. After seeing all the emails with "status updates" how can I be assured the PC will make it back to me in working order? It would have been nice for them to offer to ship me a new one asap while I send back the damaged one. But this did not happen, I asked for a refund but all I got was "that is within your rights but we will not pay for shipping when doing a refund." Based on my experience I can not recommend this company to anyone. read more

I bought a $3k desktop from Digital Storm to avoid the hassle of building my own. The result: I performed the same amount of work I would've done had I built my own with tons of frustration. Two weeks after placing my order I received my desktop. I excitedly hooked it up and started it after two weeks of anticipation. It started, showed the desktop and then...it turned off. Weird, I thought. I started it again, but got no display signal from the PC. I unplugged it, reseated all the components and tried again. This time it got to the desktop, but after a few seconds it turned off again. I was shocked. This is a $3k boutique computer, and it was DOA. Frustrated, I disassembled the entire PC and reassembled it. No luck. I tried swapping out the RAM and reseating the CPU. No luck. Finally I tried taking the graphics card from my old PC and putting it into the new one. It worked! So I got a bad graphics card. That is incredibly hard to believe, especially given DS's supposedly stringent QA process, but maybe it was damaged during shipping. I mailed it back to DS, and they sent me a new graphics card. I installed the new graphics card, booted up the computer and was relieved to see the desktop for more than a few seconds. Everything seemed OK, until I tried watching videos or playing games on the PC. Constant frame skipping and lag, to the point where I could drag the cursor across the screen and watch it lag behind my movements by 3+ seconds. This time, the determination was that the motherboard was ALSO faulty. Really?! I'm fairly acquainted with PC components, and the odds of getting a DOA graphics card AND motherboard are astronomical. The process repeated; DS sent me a new motherboard and I installed it. Everything worked fine at this point, right? Nope. Now only half of my RAM was being recognized by the (supposedly) new-in-box motherboard. This is where I lost it. I shipped the entire PC back to DS and told them to either fix it or give me a refund. Eventually, about 1.5 months after I placed my order, I had a mostly functional computer. Now, I know all of this sounds unbelievable, and I know you might be tempted to write it off as bad luck on my part. Don't. My suspicion is that DS is using refurbed or otherwise faulty components as a cost saving measure. That is the only conclusion I can draw after getting a DOA graphics card, a DOA motherboard, and then a DOA replacement motherboard. On the plus side, their support is responsive and they ultimately did get me a working computer, but only after nearly 2 months of back and forth. I can safely say the work I put into this DS machine was 5x what I would have done for a homemade one, at about 2x the cost. read more

Everything can be customized except the Bolt, which is prebuilt, ships in a day or two, and is as affordable as generic computers from your local big box store. We went with a very powerful but reasonable system, the Virtue with 16 GB 1866 ram, overclocked i5 with no-upkeep watercooling, 250 GB Samsung EVO SSD, 4TB WD HDD. The jewel is the ASUS Direct CU II r9 290x beast of a graphics card. It powers our Yamakasi 30" 1600p monitors on every single game on absolute ultra settings (even past ultra with tricks like RadeonPro and SweetFX - look them up if curious and have a beastly video card). I purchased a Digital Storm Apollo in August of 2017. Ordered the computer from their website, selecting the components for the build. Ordering was really easy. After completing my order, I received regular updates on the status of the build, receiving my computer about two weeks later. The performance of the computer is outstanding, I play my games on max and the computer doesn't even put out a sweat. Had to call them with questions a few times, and the technicians I spoke with were very knowledgeable and nice. Average hold time for me was less than ten minutes. I ordered a Vanquish II ultimate edition for my son for Christmas. We are thrilled with the performance of the model we ordered so far. Graphics are gorgeous and his games are running smoothly on the highest graphics settings. My highest praise goes to the group at Digital Storm for their quick fulfillment of my order even tho I ordered this custom built computer only 13 days before Christmas! I was left a response by Jericho from digital storm to contact their customer service representative and literally within 8 days, I had not only a graphics card in my hands but they also upgraded my 2060 graphics card to a 3060 GEFORCE RTX!!! (Only due to them being out of my d graphics card)This was an amazingly fast response and the representative I worked with was a excellent, wish I can remember his name but unfortunately I can't. Only good thing I can say is that they have competitive pricing for the components and machines built. ALTHOUGH... the system itself: Trash. I've sent the machine back multiple times because of damaged hardware in transit (due to poor packaging on their part) and it's still not working well. 5 months later. I've since refunded it, and had to get hit with a shipping fee for sending a broken piece of junk back to them. Their customer support is incompetent, their tech support is knowledgeable but hard to reach, and their policies are full of self serving, customer sabotaging clauses that protect them from their own stupidity. Back in November, I ordered a Vanquish for my son as a Christmas gift. It finally arrived in the middle of January. After two days of using the computer, it died. After a week of calling and setting up m RMA, I sent it back. Come to find out there were several defective parts installed in the computer, including the processor and bad ram. It is now March and the last communications I received from Digital Storm was Feb 12, which was 3 emails sent two minutes apart, Stages 2,3 and 4. I called and spoke to Ronda, Jose and someone else, and no one can seem to answer any of my questions on the status of my order. I continue to hear excuses of "that person" is not in right now, but I will send them a message. I would love to give this company a glorified review, but I am totally disappointed in the customer service, and definitely the so-called rigorous testing that this company does on its products. I had it for 2 days before it crashed on me, and yet their testing process takes 2-3 weeks. I would have thought after all of that type of testing, they would have found the issue. One time I called and someone told me they were short mannned and backlogged. That is not the customer's problem, yet I was made to feel that by calling and asking for the progress on my repair was a burden. I would like to hear from a human some straight answers on my repair and I would like to know when will it be sent back to me. I chose this company because of the perceived amazing ratings and your quality standards, but I am shocked that I cannot find any truth in it. If I ever get my computer back and it works for longer than a week, I would consider updating this review. Until then, I have nothing nice to say about this company. I just want my expensive computer sent back to me expeditiously and working. read more
