We were driving through and got hungry and said, "hey there's a brewery here, let's have dinner!" Pleasantly surprised! The beers are quite good - I had a Pilsner and a Schwartzbier (yeah I like lagers - sue me) and they were both very smooth and flavorful. We were a bit disappointed by the lager cheese appetizer - the menu description didn't match what was actually available and the cheese (I love cheese) was not to my taste. My wife and I split two of the specialty burgers, the Flying Dutchman and the Caprese. The beef was REALLY good, but I feel that all the specialty stuff on the burgers actually detracted from the awesomeness of the burger itself. Next time I'll get a plain cheeseburger and revel in it. Pork Green Chili is sneaky good. Starts off "meh", then ends with "give me more!" Overall, a very nice place. It felt like it could use some updating in terms of decor and we stood up on the second floor while we waited for our table and damn, those tanks they brew beer in were DUSTY. I think this place is underrated. We had a group of 13 (7 kids and 6 adults) and went on a Saturday night. We were seated within a few minutes. It was a great atmosphere for our kids 10 and under. They could enjoy themselves and not worry about being too loud. The food was fantastic! The chicken fried chicken was incredible! The chicken was served over potatoes and gravy with green beans on the side, but slightly mixed with the potatoes. It was sooo good! This place has you mask up when entering the building, but when you are seated you can remove your mask. With COVID they have a beer garden in their parking lot. The menu has a wide variety of burgers. I ordered the bison burger with glazed onions, smoked bacon, and bbq sauce. The bison burger was a nice thick burger that could be shared by two people, but can be done by one person if you're really hungry. My meal came with side order of seasoned fries. Nothing normal. My daughter order her normal pasta. Butter twisted noodles with Asiago cheese. It's her go to. You have the option to sit inside or outside. On a nice day, sitting outside is not too bad. We went here on our first evening for our ski trip in Colorado. Fun brewery/restaurant. We were told a 40 minute wait but it only ended up being a 15 minute wait. I only tried one beer which was their wheat beer and it was crisp and flavorful. We shared the pork poutine as an appetizer which had great seasoning. I had the MoMo burger with onion rings as an entree. The MoMo burger had mushrooms, onions and Monterey jack cheese which provided a savory flavor combination. We researched places in Dillon for some good food and Dillon Dam popped up. I really enjoyed their cheeky website and cleverly-titled drinks and entrees. When we arrived around 8, we were surprised to see that it was packed on a Monday. The hostess said it would probably be around 45 minutes for our group of 5, but we were seated in about 15-20 minutes. The upstairs area was only about half full, but I'm sure they don't have their full serving staff on hand for a Monday night. We liked the ambience in the place. It had that rustic brewery vibe while still being rather comfortable. They played great music, like some Chicago-style blues and classic rock. I ordered the superfood salad with salmon and it was delicious. The spinach was dressed nicely and they included a generous portion of almonds and cranberries. I loved the char on the salmon. Nathan T was our waiter and gave us great service throughout the meal. The only part that irked me was that I was charged $2.25 for soda water. In 99% of places, this is considered to be like regular water and there is no charge. It would have been nice to know about the charge ahead of time, especially since I wasn't offered any refills on the glass at any time during the evening. read more
