So I reviewed this place once before for breakfast. We come by here all the time. Today's experience was quite different. I'm going to admit that I misjudged our waiter. First impression he seemed as if he was going to be full of bologna. Well he was awesome and the experience was really great. Came in for burgers and my son-in-law is the pickiest person and he raved about the food and service. We all had great meals and very pleasant afternoon. They have a great beer selection and good menu. Just goes to show everyone can have a bad day and needs another chance like us all

Famous bowl?

First of all, the views are stunning and we got to watch the sunset which was beautiful. The service was sub par. Our server probably came to our table three times during the entire time. Our food was delivered by someone else and he didn't come back to ever check on us until we needed the check. Now for the food. I used to come here and order the chicken fried chicken for a steady 10 years. It would be a part of my ski trip every time. I tried to order this item but they had this "famous bowl" instead. This was really bad. The chicken was just two very small chicken tenders over a very small bed of mashed potatoes, smothered in the most salty gravy I have ever had. I asked for the gravy on the side knowing it might be salty, it did not come on the side. This was bad. It was hard to eat and the salt was overwhelming. The portion size was one for a kids menu and I am just so disappointed in the entire experience with the item. The ale soup was okay and could have actually used a little more seasoning. For 11$, it comes in the tiniest bowl... The martini was delicious and I would definitely get again. That item is an embarrassment. At first, I thought they had split it up for us... two chicken tenders for each person. But once I realized that was the amount of food you got for 18$.... I was very upset. A kids meal usually comes with at least three chicken tenders. I felt ripped off and with the gravy being dumped all over I just had a terrible time with this item. Please change it back. PLEASE. I used to rave about you guys and your portion sizes. I told people they HAD to try you guys on their way to the mountains... I'm sorry but not anymore.

So we sat down and first off she gave us water that rated like it came out of the sewer and then after we ordered the food it came out and I cut my steak and I think that it might have been alive so I tried tasting it and it was somehow chewy I think it's crazy how they got that combination that might of been the only thing I was impressed with and 5 mins later I can hear the cow mooing out my butthole I'm not very picky and like to look at the bright sides but this has no bright side just dark sideI wish there was a less than 1 star review

Dillion Dam Brewery has been going on for a long time. I have ate here a lot and it's a very solid option, we had a couple starters that I felt were a little over priced but still got the job done. We were able to grab a reservation for a Friday night during Christmas weekend which means it was definitely packed. I got myself the rodeo burger and it had amazing flavor the fries were seasoned to perfection. The restaurant itself was very inviting and makes you feel like you're in a true ski town and it is awesome. If we're willing to spend a little extra money I would definitely recommend coming to the Dam Brewery.

What a difference a week makes? Should the quality vary so much in so little time? I'm talking' to the owners and managers: #1. When I belly up to a gigantic bar in a brewery, I do not expect to wait more than about 30 seconds before someone says, " Good Afternoon Sir, thank you for joining us! How May I Serve You? We have an excellent offer today at Happy Hour! May I help you with your selection? I waited, and waited, and..... #2. If the bartender is so overwhelmed with the 4:30 crush of 20 or so customers, get additional help. Maybe a manager could get off their butt and assist? Perhaps one of the half dozen wait staff playing grab-ass outside the kitchen could help? #3. I asked the hostess/skater-boy to see a manager. No one appeared, Ever. I waited an hour. Now we know the problem. #4. During my last visit I asked for wings Well Done. I did not ask this time and the same wings were loaded with fatty skin. Gross. How's about you guys ask customers how they'd like their wings? It's called customer service. For $21.50 it's the least you could do! #5. I was surrounded by Other Diners with Issues. Guy to my right was charged double for happy hour hummus. Guy to my left waited 30 minutes for his order, and it was wrong. What is going on? Do you care? #6. What's the deal with providing fresh cut celery with your $21.50 wings? Black gunk? Com'on man, what other corners are you cutting? Has celery become so expensive you cannot serve fresh? Ridiculous!

Every time I am in the area I try to stop in for a beer or two. I have never been disappointed in any of the food or beer that I have tried when I was here. They were out of Here's Your Damn IPA so I got the Red Spruce IPA which might be my new favorite, It was an easy drink and had really good flavor. The burger was a large portion and had good flavor as well.

Do you accommodate seafood allergies? What kind of meat can I have if I cannot have seafood? Chicken? Beef?

My son has severe seafood and peanut allergies and they have always been fantastic about accomodating him. There are plenty of chicken, beef, and vegetarian options. And, I think I've also seen pork on the menu.

Hi, do they accommodate big parties?

I'm sure if you called ahead they could. The place is always crowded so call ahead. It's also very big with a nice outdoor patio and up stairs with a beautiful view. They have the room.

There was absolutely no way we were driving past the Frisco exit without pulling off. Outer Range is our ultimate mountain pit stop. They have an awesome location with a stunning modern build and plenty of outdoor seating to enjoy the fresh mountain air. It is wild to think that we just visited their sister location in the French Alps during our recent European travels. The fact that they can maintain total excellence across two different continents is unreal. The two spots are completely equal, and the Colorado taproom continues to prove why they are world-class. The beers were spectacular as always. We started out with a couple of pints of their New England-style juice. In the Steep is a masterclass in the style with a beautiful, pillowy mouthfeel and heavy tropical notes. Sun in the Clouds was just as impressive. It delivers those bright citrus flavors without the aggressive hop bitterness. I even noticed Cross Flow on the tap list, which is a fresh, hazy collaboration they just put out with Casey Brewing. Before packing back into the truck, we made sure to grab a new metal tacker to hang up in the garage. We also snagged a four-pack of Lil John Wayne. The can art is easily the funniest label on the shelf, but the actual beer is a solid ten out of ten. To fuel the final stretch of the drive home, we ordered from Bird Craft right inside the brewery. They do not cut corners here. They are frying up full wings, including the drummies and the flippers, and they will toss them in any of their house sauces for an incredible snack. The skin stays remarkably crispy even under a thick coat of sauce, and the meat stays perfectly juicy. It is exactly the kind of savory comfort food you need after a long road trip. Every single time we stop by this place, they manage to completely knock it out of the park.

They have a "Thai-ish" fried chicken spot as their food vendor, which is pretty good. Their pork belly fried rice and bird bowl was also good. Decent spot if you're in the area, tough to get a spot on weekends (find your own table as people leave).

Drink beer and pet dogs is a very fitting slogan for this place. Wanting to try some different beers tonight, we had quite the flight: 1 - American Dream Cream Ale 2 - Irish Red 3 - Mexican Lager 4 - Ginger Pale Ale 5 - Fruit Ninja Blonde 8 - Lostoberfest Marzen 10 - Mangy Moose Spruce Tip Pale Ale My two favorites were the Cream Ale and the Marzen. Following the flight, I enjoyed a pint of the Cream Ale. My wife liked the Marzen and the Mangy Moose the best, and she enjoyed two pints of the Marzen. Employees and customers are all very friendly. We fell in love with their original location years ago. Their beer is fantastic. The service and atmosphere, though, is what keeps us coming back. The Broken Compass team works at both locations. Claire was our favorite team member but everyone on the team does a great job at inviting you to feel welcome. They're amazing. My favorite beer is their coconut porter. It has a hint of fresh coconut and is a lighter side of porter, not too syrupy. It's well balanced and might I dare say--it's perfect. That said, I haven't had a beer here that I didn't like. They have a great layout at the original location, though you wouldn't think it being in a commercial warehouse. There's a big garage door that opens in the back to outdoor seating. There's this amazing mural in the back of the building. The crowd there all seem to know each other which I am amazed at each time we visit. It's a more local vibe at the original location than the more touristy accessible location on Main Street. The original location has a super cozy vibe, lots of board games (or bring your own). It's a great place to hangout for a few hours. They also have a shuttle that takes patrons back to Main Street. Just call or ask the crew for more details. Again, favorite brewery in Breck. Was greeted promptly upon entering and directed to the bar to place a to go order. I had limited time because had to catch a bus. The ambiance was fun with TV screens around to watch various sporting events. I was watching A&M get beat by Miami while waiting for my food order to be prepared. They have the silver brewery tanks where they brew their beer on site behind the bar area. They had a bunch of unique brews but I am not a beer person. I found a seat at the bar and the bartender came to take my order. I mentioned that I was on a time crunch with having to catch the bus in approximately 35 minutes and just wanted to check to see if the kitchen could accommodate my schedule. I was a bit taken aback when he responded that he couldn't guarantee anything and the electricity could go out.... So I was going to pass on ordering, but then he said we better get my order in then. So I put in an order for fish and chips. Then he said the kitchen should not have a problem accommodating that time window. He brought me some water and I enjoyed watching the football game while I waited for my to-go order. The food was ready in plenty of time for me to make it to the bus stop. It was packed nicely and came in a paper bag. I was able to enjoy it at the bus stop. Fish and Chips with Avalanche Ale battered white fish, fries, tartar. The fish has a nice batter but was a bit bland and could have used more salt or other seasoning. It really needed the tartar sauce to complete the flavor profile. The fries were light and crispy. Overall the food was what I would expect from a brewery. Nice place to go in breck to enjoy beer and food while watching a sporting event.

There were limited things on the menu available, so much so I ended up having a White Russian, Laura had tea, and Ben only ordered 1 beer. One item that we really were looking forward to was their Elk burger but it was no longer on the menu, or at least not at this location. Oddly enough, the table next to us had a father/son come in together and they were also looking for the Elk burger and when they learned it wasn't available, just got up and left. I am going to suggest that if it was a permanent removal that they put it back on the menu. There isn't much parking in their lot, maybe 8-10 spaces so walking from the parking areas is most likely you're only chance as the areas around this brewery are homes. We still like their beers but will try other locations or go back to the Littleton location.

Since they're part of the CamelBak and Stanley cup generation, they hadn't seen anything like them before. My son was impressed by the size of the kids' burger, and the fries were great. The rest of us had the NY Strip. I'd say it was good, but not great--though I did appreciate the blackened seasoning and the chimichurri. The grilled asparagus, however, was simply fantastic. The showstopper was the upside-down apple pie with what seemed to be homemade vanilla ice cream. Both were generous portions and kindly comped by our server for my birthday. I ordered my standard Ranch Water, though it unfortunately didn't come in their traditional canteen cup. Overall, it's a great spot. I look forward to visiting again on our next trip to Colorado.
