Following up on my review posted April 1, 2017- The new owner posted a reply: Comment from Anya D. of Dilly's Corner, Business Owner Mary, I believe I replied to you on Facebook and just want to make sure you know your concerns are heard. We have kept the same recipes and Patties that the old owners used to use for all of their sandwiches, and have actually only changed the chili. We hope you give us another chance, and your next experience with us is better." Really? The same "Patties?" From the review article in the April 20, Bucks County Herald, "The couple (new owners) have chosen their own meat purveyor, so customers are finding more upscale hot dogs and hamburgers between the buns. This 'inconsistency' has made me drop my review from two to one star. read more

Dillys is having a break in period with new owners. Service is pleasant but sooooo slow. Need no smoking signs up. Hopefully it will come up to speed quickly. The busy season is coming. read more

We had burgers and their amazing onion rings last night. There was a bit of a wait, but we are in the middle of a pandemic so totally understandable. Customers lingering too long in the parking lot should get creative and find other local spots to set up picnic so that those waiting for food aren't crowded. Every single time we get food here it's really good and I say the atmosphere along the river is beautiful and definately worth the wait. We're all lucky to be able to get out for a treat - so glad they enforce masking here too. Well done Dillys! read more

Last time we were here was when Dilly's had just sold, and the quality and consistency was down. HOWEVER, tonight I had a very good "Dilly-Dog, an excellent GardenBurger, and (and sort of small) order of onion rings. All were back to the quality pre-sale. We would drive out of our way to go to Dilly's for years, We loved your Italian hot dogs for $7.50. You cut it in half now but you did not lower the price. We could ever hardly finish it for years and now we left hungry. It's a shame that you think this is not noticeable. You don't charge the same amount of money for half an order. The roll was much larger.. the amount of potatoes, onions and peppers were so much. They were so good, Now you would have to buy two and spending 15.00 for two hot dogs is ridiculous. Dilly's have been a very successful place for so many years... You are going to lose business because apparently you have cut the sizes of other things there for the same price.. Not going to work. There are many place to choose from that are more affordable and just as good. I hope as new owners you get it and change back or cut your prices in half if you are cutting your portions in half. I've been going here for ever and I'm never let down! The food is great and the staff is always friendly. Dilly's is one of the best stops along the river!!! UNTIL NOW!!!! Things are just not the same since the new owners took over! The chicken fingers are a let down and no crunch coat for the soft serve so now I really have no reason to go back!!! read more

Such a bad experience! We got there placing a to go order of 2 grilled chicken sandwiches, curly fries, and a hotdog. We waited forever, and after we got home to eat, We discovered the chicken in the sandwiches was rubbery and there was even a hair in one of them! Although the curly fries and hotdogs were outstandingly delicious we will not be visiting any time soon. read more

I've eaten here before and had a great meal, but good gracious - if you're closed, put that on yelp and Facebook, we drove an hour to eat there and saw a closed sign on the window. Black bean burger was dry yet mushy and lacking flavor. It is vegan but the bun is not, so I got the patty and lettuce and tomato. It was more like a sad salad with a patty on top. Staff was competent and wait was not too long. Dolly's should look into more sustainable ways of serving food. Everyone has a tray's worth of waste :( read more

Another great find while biking along the D&R and Delaware Canal towpaths, we discovered Dilly's while crossing over at Stockton Bridge. Apparently, this casual burger and ice cream joint is a long-standing institution in New Hope. All I know is I had one of the best banana milkshakes! Their ice cream and sundaes are fantastic too! The burgers and onion rings are great and reasonably priced. The cheeseburger was two bucks. If you're looking for something slightly healthier, they offer a grilled chicken burger and a veggie burger--at higher price points ($6 - $8). Those are tasty. Although the line was dauntingly long, it moved very quickly. I think it took less than five minutes to get our meals. At any rate, place your order at the line to the far right. You'll be given a playing card after paying for it. Head over to the window to the left and wait for your number/suit to be called. We were a big group, so a couple of us snagged a large picnic table in the shaded area and refilled our water bottles at the drinking fountain while the rest waited for our orders. It's well worth a visit if you're in the Stockton/New Hope area and looking for ice cream or a quick bite at reasonable prices. read more

I would love to admit that I stumbled upon this place. I was pre-warned of it's delicious food and I had to seek it out! It's just a little shack selling hot dogs and burgers and FRIES! The line is sometimes long but totally worth the wait. I always get their Dilly Dog which is really just an Italian Dog. So yummy! Love it! Go here! You won't be disappointed! Dilly's Corner is a Bucks County institution. At the base of the Stockton Bridge, it is a favorite watering hall for all the bikers riding River Road. Burgers, hot dogs, fires, onion rings, and shakes are about all they serve, and everything is top quality. The Dilly Dog is a unique concoction consisting of a 1/4 lb hot dog, cooked onions, peppers, and french fries. Service is really fast and the atm0shphere at the place is like a carnival. I went here with hopeful expectations because of the reviews but I must say it fell way short. Maybe people around here just not used to good food. The staff was not friendly at all unless they knew you... They were actually kind of weird. The ice cream was very very very bland and the food was all greasy and disgusting. I would never return here again. It looks like either local people who go there daily or people who didn't know any better coming off of tubing trips. Let's begin with the fact that the food is fine. But when you go to Dilly's it isn't necessarily about the food, it's about the atmosphere and the vibe (okay fine, maybe it's a little bit about the chocolate/vanilla twist cone and a roadside hot dog). It's the ideal location if you love to people watch. From locals to tourists, it's a feast for the mind and the eyes. I gave Dilly's 4 stars for the experience. It's waiting in a long line, knowing they are raking it in hand over fist (note, they only accept cash), it's the symplicity of food options, it's sitting outside amongst the throws of people who are all eating the same thing, it's the bikers, it's the Dilly's mascot (a sweet, gentle dog) roaming the property looking for an ear scratching and a handout or a dropped fry, it's not gourmet but it's good fun. Be prepared to wait, but be prepared for a great time at Dilly's. read more

This is a really cute place - worth the drive, just for the restaurant. You will not get a gourmet burger here, but everything is tasty and prepared fresh, and it's definitely a local treasure. Located along the Delaware on the north side of New Hope (approaching Lumberville), you'll find this cute restaurant where River Road and Upper York Road intersect. It's just across the bridge from Stockton, NJ. Staff is friendly and efficient and it's really decent roadside grub. Loved the onion rings! read more

I've eaten here many, many times over the years but never wrote a review. Dilly's gets 4 stars, not for the food but for the location, fun experience and Ice cream - all rolled in to one place. Good fries, great Dilly Dog but very average hot dogs and plain burgers. They have some interesting items on the menu that you don't find at most drive-ins (Talapia???). This place has turned into a big, fat tourist trap where everyone claims to love the "locals" vibe but its really just a long line of weekend gawkers from the city. Such a cute, homey place. Kind of far for me, but we go for lunch every once in a while in the summer. I've been coming here since I was a toddler and I remember getting stuffed animals in a sale and always seeing the motorcyclers. The cards are really cute and the food is excellent. I always get the Dilly's cheeseburger, a milkshake, and my family shares curly fries and onion rings. Haven't tried anything else besides the ice cream, but my dad said the other food is not quite as good as the most popular ones. I feel like in the past two years the food quality has gone down a bit - still really good - but I don't mind because it's still awesome. The people have always been friendly and extremely helpful! Highly recommended, just be warned that it can get crowded! There's indoor and outdoor seating but indoor is pretty limited. read more

Talk about Americana...a wonderful roadside eatery that had been in operation for more years than I can even count. This place is not fancy, is always and I mean always packed and offers burgers, dogs, chicken fingers, fries and Veggie burgers. Your basic fast food that is more like home cooked. I ordered a large strawberry sunday thinking wow it is going to be so good and so big! $5 dollars big and good. Order girl was ok and it didnt take overly long to be ready, seating area relatively clean. Sunday BIG disappointment. It had less icecream in it then my wifes small dish of vinilla. It took many spoonfuls before i found some strawberry syrup on one side, lots of whip cream and a cherry on top, good cherry. So it tasted fair but was way to small for a large and for the money read more
