    Roast pork

Fast casual Cantonese BBQ place with quick and delicious meals! There are not many seats inside so definitely not meant for large groups to dine in but my party of 4 grabbed a table against the wall. Char siu was seasoned perfectly and the roast duck and crispy pig that came with our other meals was delicious. Highly recommend!

Canto House was such a great find. We've eaten from here twice: once as UberEats for dinner, and another as a takeout lunch before our flight home. My family and I can say resoundingly that their roast duck over rice entree was aromatic, umami, and generous. Their roast duck had just the best spices on it with a good amount of meat and duck skin. They're so generous with their rice too. I mean, you will not be hungry after you eat this. I loved the duck sauce that was drenched on the rice. Every bite was flavorful. We did try their other food items like their salt and pepper pork chop, soy sauce chicken, stir fried beef noodles, and siu mai. These were all pretty good. But, they just didn't compare to that roast duck. The roast duck lunch takeout was such a good value. For the roast duck lunch with a side of pork soup, it's just $8 if you pay with cash. There was so much rice! The lady who took our order was nice and packed all our lunchboxes neatly into bags as well. It seemed liked they were just doing takeout service during lunch, since there were no tables for indoor dining. Overall, we enjoyed the food here. Definitely try their roast duck over rice. When we do come back, I really want to try their crispy roast pig over rice. Come and check them out.

got recommended to try this place bc i heard its rly good and tbh we were both slightly underwhelmed. i got the roast pork and roast duck combo which comes with rice and soup ($12) and veggies (additional $1.75). my friend got the same thing but crispy pig. i rly liked the roast duck - thought it was flavorful and not too oily. the soup was a nice balance to the food lol. kinda regret paying extra for the veggies - they were cold and kinda bland lol. i guess if im rly craving chinese comfort food i'd get food from here but i hope they warm it up more. the food we got was like not hot at all. i will say for the price and portions it's worth it. the food comes out really fast. there's seating but there's not a lot of seating. overall average chinese food in a casual setting but idk not rly dying to come back lol i feel like there's better chinese restaurants in chinatown. it's open idk why it's closed on yelp lol

    Really delicious soy sauce chicken

Really good soy sauce chicken and egg tofu. They stop dine in at 7pm fyi but you can eat out of takeout containers for the last hour

    HAIR!!

THERES HAIR IN MY FOOD!! How can this place even be open?!! Service is horrible as well as the food!!! Extremely rude servers! With so many choices in china town for Chinese food. This place is below average at best. If my review gets taken down I will submit a complaint with the health department! Every customer has a right to voice their opinion and warn the public about bad business practices !!

Best roasted duck in town! Its better than Sang Kee in my opinion. The flavor in the sauce that they poured over the duck is addicting. It's so good when eat it with rice. I always come here for their roasted duck. Highly recommend if you're in Philadelphia Chinatown.

We visited for a traditional Cantonese meal and had the Ginger and Scallion Chicken (Jiang Cong…read moreJi). While the flavor was clean and aromatic, the kitchen used chicken breast rather than the traditional bone-on thigh meat, which made the texture a bit chewy. We also tried the Szechuan Squid. Be aware that this is more of an "American-style" Szechuan dish -- it was sweet and sour rather than spicy and lacked the traditional peppers or numbing heat. However, the texture of the squid was remarkably soft and tender, reminiscent of an Italian-style slow-cooked calamari, which was a pleasant surprise. To round out the meal, the Dry Fried String Beans with Minced Pork (Gan Bian Si Ji Dou) were a solid highlight. As someone who frequently eats at more 'cleaver-heavy' Chinatown spots like Jin Wei, I found Lee How Fook to be a friendly and consistent spot, but the preparations here are definitely tailored to a much milder palate. If you are looking for that specific 'hacked' bone-in dark meat or a fiery Szechuan kick, this might feel a bit safe.

The stars if today were the appetizer dishes. The rice noodles with the special peanut sauce was 100% the best and exactly what you'd expect when you order that dish. The squid and popcorn chicken were both amazing and fried lightly but with a great crispy texture. The small pineapple bun with butter was delicious. We actually had it as a starter and again for dessert. While we loved the apps, the baked rice with pork chop and pepper steak rice bowls were just ok. They weren't amazingly flavorful, but they were still tasty with heavy portions so the value was there. We had HK style milk tea and topped off our meal with their special creamy french toast. Overall we left overly full and didn't have to pay too much. Wow Cafe is very affordable and the staff is very friendly and fast to cater to your needs. It may not look like much on the outside, but the food definitely brings me back and hits the spot!

Though a small restaurant sounds horrible, it was great because there was no need to flag down the dim sum carts or wait for service. The carts came by quickly and multiple times while the wait staff was readily available to clear our table. The dim sum is good but not as great as other places. That's not to say that the dim sum wasn't delicious. The basics are done well and each steamer came out hot. The only gripe I had was that the rice noodle rolls had thicker noodles compared to the filling but it's not that big of a deal. The shu mai, shrimp dumplings, chive dumplings, chicken feet, etc, were just as good as anywhere else. I would consider coming back just for the dim sum!

Come on." - "My Cousin Vinny" 1992 film The staff speaks Cantonese which is very good to hear Cantonese spoken as it is mellifluous... at long last to continue this vernacular Chinese language. Chinese Dim Sum is regionally specific to Cantonese originating from the Guangdong province, ergo Cantonese will continue to survive as vernacular language. When we arrived there was one party of five middle age and elderly men who were conversing boisterously loud in Cantonese, but they were not arguing as it appeared that is their characteristic volume for communicating among each other. It seemingly appears every person within this party of five men want their individual spotlight as the desideratum to be heard without interruption and without judgment, therefore battle with loud vocally expressing one's thoughts. "Silence doesn't always mean you have nothing to say. It means you know that no matter what you say, nothing will change." - Snoopy, Peanuts by American cartoonist Charles M. Schulz I received complaints that I have been told I am too loud, but certainly this party of five men are louder. Ergo, stop with your vile complaints about me! My party of three found the quality of food average as juxtaposition for New York City Dim Sum. There are no dine-in menu to order platter entrées if the Dim Sum dishes does not eat your fill. Customer service is average. The Dim Sum trolley women appear nonchalant and less enthusiasm as they can determined to ascertain that my party and I are non-Pennsylvanians, but out-of-towners. We chosen Pu'er tea, bou2 nei2 普洱茶 as the default Dim Sum tea to help with digestion. The tea pot was metal but it was not boiling hot water rather lukewarm temperature for tea which is unorthodox for Dim Sum tradition. Business cards are available for grabs. I did obtained my sales receipt. Nevertheless, a Dim Sum Sunday brunch was a equanimity state achieved to balance work life in the company of family in fleeting times. Let's Yum Cha! My foodie synopsis: Shrimp dumpling 蝦 餃 (haa1 gaau2)- filled with small pieces of shrimp and the dumpling skin was rather thick. The dumpling skin was sticking to the paper wrapping. The dumpling skin was sticking to the top of my mouth. Pork and mushroom dumpling 燒 賣 (siu1 maai6*2) Shumai were well prepared and the mushroom were, gratefully, small and not overpower the dumpling. I am not a mushroom enthusiast. Beef rice noodle roll rice roll 牛肉腸 (ngau4 juk6 coeng4*2) texture was too chewy from the thickness. The rice noodle was average, but appear smaller covering the meat. Spare ribs with basil sauce 欖 汁 排 骨 (laam5*2 zap1 paai4 gwat1) - it was not swimming in oil and there were minimal meat, but minimal non-meat fat. Beef ball in bean curd 山竹牛肉丸 (saan1 zuk1 ngau4 juk6 jyun2) - it was not served piping hot, but average Unfortunately, Jade Harbor do not offer my favorite traditional Dim Sum dessert dishes: Mango Pudding 芒 果 布甸 (mong4 gwo2 bou3 din1) Almond pudding 杏 仁 豆 腐 (hang6 jan4 dau6 fu6)

I regrettably went on Valentines with my boyfriend after the Barnes. My food was so bad that my mood was negatively impacted (seriously). Stay away from any of the soups/ramens, the broth is exactly the same flavorless base for every soup. I'd stick with appetizers. I got the worst thing I've ever ordered at a restaurant here: Tom Kha Seafood Soup, it was supposed to be spicy but it was just sweet with no flavor at all. Nothing like any other Asian spicy seafood soups I've had before, lacking any normal amount of seafood (hardly any), and weird uncooked veggies, like huge sliced raw tomato bits. I ate the small amount of seafood out of it and left the rest. It was hardly edible. The scallion pancakes were also the most underwhelming I've ever had. I usually fight for the last piece but me and my boyfriend left half of it uneaten. No flavor or crisp. Seemed frozen and reheated, not fresh. The soup dumplings were the only good thing we ordered and they were just fine, nothing amazing. Additionally, there was a very small amount of them to our order. The Vietnamese beef soup was ok but very below average, nothing good that I'd recommend ordering, same bland broth. I really wanted to like this place and I usually never give out one star reviews, but it was truly bad and the ratings on it are clearly inflated and not reflective of its food quality. Small amounts of bad food for a price you could get much better things elsewhere. I'd rather have gone to Wawa than gone here (and I did after because I was still hungry).
