Chow fun Noodles, Sweet Buns, Egg Custard Tarts
    Marie C.

Welcomed in by friendly staff. Not busy when we arrived;only a few customers eating so it was relaxed and quiet. We ordered from their Dim Sum menu. They were having a special on 1/2 an order Peking Duck, steamed Chinese broccoli, Sweet buns, Egg custard tarts, 2 orders of steamed chicken feet, shrimp dumplings; then we ordered Chow Fun Noodles and Shrimp fried rice from the regular menu. Everything looked and tasted perfect. We really appreciate this Dim Sum Cafe which is conveniently located near Summerlin and Spring Valley area on Hualapai and Twain. It saves us a drive to Chinatown Las Vegas which is also worth the drive. Thank you!

Had lunch here yesterday it was pretty dead in the restaurant. This place is a little hidden gem. The food is excellent, service was fast. The restaurant is clean and they were cool with Mae Mae. I will definitely be back. See my pictures

Came here with a friend to try some new things. The restaurant was clean and we were seated quickly. The food was amazing! I really enjoyed the curry wontons. Overall I would say it was a nice little spot.

We usually go to our go to dim sum spots Hong Kong garden and Orchid garden. This time we are trying dim sum cafe. The ambiance here reminds me of a traditional old school but in a modern area. This family style dim sum spot has rotating tables for large parties that cater well to big family style dining which I really like especially if you're big on family dining. Today the food we ordered of course chicken feet had flavor and was meaty. We also ordered short ribs with squash delicious as well. We ordered the crispy shrimp so crunchy and fresh hot and ready. We also ordered the Hong Kong style noodle combination my favorite with crispy style noodles with Chinese gravy with a combination of vegetables and meat so delicious a must with their house hot chili oil so good. We were also fortunate to score their succulent roasted duck came with duck sauce as well soft meat and crispy skin will definitely order again. The service was great very attentive and the fast with everything made a smooth lunch. They were also nice looking to go back and try again. If you're looking for a trendy low key dim sum spot this is it thanks!

Dim Sum Cafe is a family favorite! If you're craving authentic Chinese noodles, roasted duck, shrimp shumai, soup dumplings, and red bean balls covered in toasted sesame seeds - this is the place for you. My family and I come down to Dim Sum Cafe every couple of months. There's something for almost everyone will like. Whether you want ribs or chicken porridge. The options feel endless. The staff is always prompt with seating us and there's plenty of spacious seating like booths, large round tables and more. I would have more photos because I come here so often but our family loves the food so much that we chow down right away.

After passing by Dim Sum Cafe for years (so close to home) we decided to Stop in Nestled conveniently close to home, Dim Sum Cafe has been a sight we've passed by countless times. Recently, curiosity finally got the better of us, enticing us to step inside. Walking in, the cafe exudes a charming, albeit slightly aged atmosphere, with booth seats showing signs of wear. However, the culinary delights quickly overshadow any minor decor imperfections. Our flavorful journey began with the Pork Shumai, perfectly portioned wontons loaded with succulent ground pork. Each bite was a delicious burst of flavor. Braving the unknown, we ventured into the Steamed Chicken Feet - a novel experience for us. Lightly coated in sauce, despite the expected boniness, they were surprisingly tasty. We then indulged in the Deep-Fried Meat Ball, a delectable treat, followed by the Steamed Pork Dumplings, which were a true delight--juicy on the inside and perfectly cooked. The highlight of our visit was undoubtedly the Spicy Chicken Wings. With a crispy exterior and an explosion of flavors, they quickly became a favorite! The menu, abundant with tempting options, promises many more returns. Besides the excellent food, the prices were reasonable, and the staff's friendliness added to the overall pleasurable dining experience. We are keen to revisit and explore the rest of what Dim Sum Cafe has to offer. Bill was under $60 with 3 beers added to all of our items - Great Deal Excellent Food Cheers

My partner took me here because he said he enjoyed it last time he went here (3 yrs ago). I really wanted to like this place, but unfortunately, it was a big letdown. I ordered the hot and spicy wontons expecting bold flavors, but the dish was completely bland. The chili oil--which should've been the star--had zero heat and barely any flavor at all. It tasted more like plain oil than anything spicy. For a dish that's supposed to pack a punch, this was incredibly disappointing. Definitely not what I hoped for, and I won't be coming back. The rest of the food was OKAY.

All and only Cream cheese wonton, yay!

Food- all very good dim sum. We tried several, most we liked, 1-2 we didn't. Liked: chicken potstickers, all veggie egg/ spring rolls, curry cream cheese fried wontons ( all cream cheese, no meat yay!), excellent warm egg custard ( so good we order another to go), chicken shu mai ( new to us- flavor was yummy but it is a very dense all chicken ball basically), crispy Beef with Golden Garlic item #29 ( very tender beef, no seeds Yay!). Sweet and sour soup was okay. Disliked- all beef meatballs. I struggled with the gelatinous texture and flavor, my hubby struggled with just the texture. We left it on the table after 1 bite. But this was just us and our preferences. Service- very very quick. Almost too quick as the 2nd waitress helping kept bringing out stuff to us we either didn't order or already received. But we were honest and redirected her. We spent about $100 lunch but we ordered enough for leftovers on purpose. Overall we enjoyed it and would return.

So fast and delicious! The chow mein was not the kind I'm used to but still sooo good! There was no bean sprouts in it at all! Can't wait to try the different foods!

I was craving some dim sum and wanted to go somewhere new away from all the traffic. My husband and I came here on a Monday afternoon and it wasn't busy. The staff welcomed us right away and came by to take our order. The venue is quite big and spacious. The menu is on point. It shows pictures of all the dim sum and a few of their other dishes as well, which makes it easier and appetizing to order. We ordered the Spicy won ton, egg custard, Baked Sweet Cream Bun, shrimp and pork shu Mai, fried taro crispy beef fried noodles . Sweet cream bun 4/5- it was warm, the bread was chewy, however, I do wish there was more of the cream custard filling. Egg custard 5/5- super flaky, perfect density of the custard, and the very creamy egg custard filling. Beef crispy noodle- 4/5 loved the veggies, the beef was tender, the noodles were crispy and soft. The only downfall was that the sauce was very salty. Fried taro- 5/5 super flaky, crispy! I loved how the taro and meat was filled in the pastry. It wasn't oily either. I really enjoyed it! Shrimp shu mai- 5/5 filled with shrimp and good ratio of the wrapper and filling. Spicy won tons- 2/5 it didn't look like the photo. The ratio of the pork and wrapper was off. There was too much wrapper. The flavoring of the pork wasn't seasoned enough. Pork shumai-2/5 the pork tasted too porky for me. The density of it was over cooked as well. Overall, if you're craving dim sum and you are in the area, stop by to get your dim sum fix!

Dim Sum Cafe consistently delivers a welcoming dinning experience. The food and service are always top notch, with staff attentive, I request quite a few side sauces and they always accommodate. Dim sum is cooked fresh to order, ensuring quality and authentic flavor. The menu offers great selection, catering to both traditional favorites and unique specialties. Considering the freshness and variety, the price is ab excellent value.

    bbq pork, very dry
    Tiffany C.

Ordered takeout/delivery so this may have affected it slightly. However, the food unfortunately was not to my liking. The bbq pork was very dry for 90% and you can see it in the quality as well. For 14 dollars, it was not worth it, despite a smaller portion size. The BBQ steamed buns was slightly better, but the bao itself was too sweet and pasty. There wasn't that nice fluffiness I was looking for in a bao. The filling was better overall than the regular BBQ Pork. The shrimp rice noodle rolls were okay. noodles were slightly thicker so there wasn't that silky texture. The shrimp did look overdone, but that may be from sitting in a box, this one was average. Unsure if I will attempt a visit in person, but definitely not one I would go order takeout from, at least for dimsum.

Ask the Community - Dim Sum Cafe

    DUCK???? How's the duck?!?!?!

Let's put it this way, go somewhere else for duck, I only come here for the tofu wrapped vegetables

Do they walk around with carts or is it order what you want to eat?

You order from a picture menu. No carts.

Is it dim sum all day?

    Yes!

    Do they have soup dumplings?

You can see their menu on their website, with pictures of all the dim sum. I don't think they have soup dumplings, but they do have wonton soup with dumplings in it.

Do they sell the big fat tasty steamed pork buns here? I'll only be in Vegas for a few days and I really hope to find some.

    Yes, the bao

What time is their dim sum menu during the week?

    Dim sum all day, everyday!!!

Are there the dim sum carts?

No, you order off a menu.

Do they sell frozen dim sum to-go?

It is owned by a family, SUPER NICE!!!! I am sure they would sell them frozen to you! They cater also.

What is the difference between dim sum and xiao long bao which one is a soup dumpling?

Xiao long bao is a soup dumpling. If there was no soup inside then they didn't make it right or it has been sitting too long. But yes, xlb are a type of dim sum.

Do you serve dim sum all day and do you order from the menu or carts? Thank you

Yes, we serve dim sum all day. And we make it to order from the menu.

Even…read morewhen the dining room is completely packed during the weekend lunch rush, the seating is incredibly fast, the portions are generous, and the classic dishes are executed at a high level. Pork and Shrimp Siu Mai (5/5): The absolute highlight of the meal and easily one of the best versions of this classic dish available. The order comes with four enormous pieces that taste incredibly fresh, with every single bite packed to the brim with juicy, distinct chunks of real shrimp and pork. Bean Curd Skin Roll (5/5): Another standout favorite of the visit. The dish includes three large rolls cut cleanly in half, packed with incredibly juicy meat filling. It's especially delicious when you ladle the savory sauce from the bottom of the plate over each bite. Cream Egg Yolk Bun (5/5): A dessert that tastes like a cross between an egg tart and a sweet pineapple bun. The sweet egg yolk cream center is warm and exceptionally gooey, so you'll want to take your first bite carefully to prevent the runny filling from splattering. Salt and Pepper Squid (4/5): A very clean, airy, and crispy appetizer that shows zero signs of being fried in old kitchen oil. While the batter leans a bit light on the expected salt and savory seasoning, the abundance of thinly sliced fresh jalapeno peppers added a spicy kick. Sticky Rice in Lotus Leaf (4/5): A very solid, comforting option with excellent overall flavor throughout the rice, though the savory meat filling hidden inside the center felt a little sparse. Beef Tripe with Ginger and Scallion (4/5): A dim sum staple featuring an incredibly delicious, gingery sauce and great savory flavor. Beef Congee (4/5): We ordered the medium-sized bowl, which easily yielded at least 4 smaller bowls of congee, making it a perfect shared carb to round out the meal. It had a comforting consistency with a subtle note of ginger, though it personally sits just below a traditional preserved egg and pork style for me. Logistics Tip: Arriving around noon on the weekend means encountering a packed house, but the staff moves the crowd efficiently and gets tables turned over in short order. You place your order by marking your selections directly onto a paper slip, and the kitchen sends items out to your table as soon as they're ready, meaning dishes will arrive in a random, staggered flow throughout your dining experience.

The pork is covered with thick batter. It is neither crispy nor flavorful. We also had the honey walnut shrimp. The shrimps were big but there's too much mayo on it. But I like that the shrimps lay on top of steamed broccoli. Also ordered Tofu with veggies dish which was decent. It's my first time here so I don't know whether it's a fluke or it's just a different chef, or the regular chef has an 'off' day. The place is really nice though with pretty tablecloths and nice chair covers. Service is good. But overall -- for a Chinese restaurant- it all boils down to the taste of the food. Maybe I'll give it another try in the future. We'll see.

Growing up in Asia, I have my share of eating Cantonese style BBQ. I had good ones for sure but the duck from this restaurant is so memorable! We ordered mostly dim sum and put a few orders for some noodle dish. Didn't realized that dim sum is over at 3pm but restaurant is open until 10pm have we known we would have taken our money and family elsewhere. I think some of the dim sums they serves us were all left overs and they had to microwaved some because my husband witness a server doing so at the service station which is not right because when my husband came in to ask for a table at like 2pm they should have said they were running of a lot of things because dim sum is over at 3 but yet they told him they could accommodate our party. Dim sum that came out was not good,Hacao and the bbq steam bun was all breaking apart, parents got chicken feet and they said it was bland, service was terrible!!! The waiter didn't check in on us not even once, our waters were empty and food that did came out way too long like 5-15 mins intervals. The noodle dishes we order never came out because the waiter never put it in so we were all staring at each other for like 30 mins w no food.Server guy was the one w the spiky hair he is very unprofessional never greeted us and he wasn't very friendly, asked him twice for water and it took him a minute to get someone to bring us waters. The chili oil is disgusting it tasted like curry which we never ever had at any dim sum place ever! Ambiance??? zero star, It's DIRTY! upon observing the area where the servers and bussers go I noticed that it's not very sanitary there was dirty rags w the clean dishes and dirty dishes w the clean dishes as well. I'm also pretty sure I got marked on the dim sum stamp thing for something we never got so pay close attention because those ladies are so quick and rushing to stamp and charge you but very little food made it to the table. Paid close to $300 and they have the audacity to include the auto grat when they didn't do crap service was zero. Everyone left still starving because at that point we were not gonna wait another 20mins for them to cook the noodles that we order 30+ mins ago. Never again! We do not suggest going to this place at all your way better off at orchid garden or Hong Kong dim sum cafe. Also the servers were all bum rushing the food that came out for them at like 3pm while people was still eating at the dining room they all sat down down around us and ate while we were all seating there waiting for some food that we never got. I regret so much bringing my family to this place it's not worth it, parking also sucks here because it's shared parking so it's limited also if you want a clean place to eat definitely not this one such a disappointment! Going to definitely reached out to health department about our experience because we saw al lot of health violations.I honestly don't get why people is giving this pace a 5 star, like look around? I get it's down the street from strip but drive a few block or miles and you will find better food and service 100%.

We also got the radish cake, shumai, sticky rice in lotus leaf, shrimp rice rolls, and deep-fried shrimp-stuffed eggplant. Everything was good, but I especially loved the radish cake and the deep-fried eggplant with shrimp. The radish cake had such a great texture and a rich, savory flavor. It was crispy on the outside and soft on the inside, and the chunks of meat paired so well with it. Easily one of the best radish cakes I've had at a dim sum place. Some people who don't look at their bill may tip the standard 20-25% when they get the slip, which is obviously good for the staff. The food service and ambience all were absolutely stellar…read more This was our second time coming here and while we thought the food quality had declined a little bit it was still a good time. Their famous green beans were not as flavorful anymore, and they felt undercooked. They're spicy chicken wontons were as always amazing. For chocolate mochi balls, however, as always were 10 out of 10

As a vegetarian, I wasn't sure how extensive or satisfying the options would be, but I was pleasantly surprised. I ordered the spicy wontons, vegan sesame noodles, and the chocolate xiao long bao. The sauces really stood out--the spicy sauce had a deep, layered heat, and the sesame noodles were rich, nutty, and incredibly well-balanced. The chocolate xiao long bao were a fun and indulgent finish, with just the right level of sweetness. What really impressed me was the consistency and attention to detail. Every dish felt thoughtfully crafted, not just thrown together to fill a vegetarian checkbox. The ambiance is clean, modern, and gives you that signature open-kitchen feel, which adds to the overall experience. Service was smooth and attentive without being overbearing. Yes, it's slightly on the pricier side, but the quality, flavors, and overall experience make it worth it. I'm already looking forward to going back and exploring more of the menu.

Finding the Real Deal: Dim Sumlicious is the Authentic Yum Cha Las Vegas Has Been Missing…read moreLas Vegas has no shortage of Chinese restaurants, but anyone who's grown up going to yum cha knows the difference between dim sum done right and dim sum done for tourists. I've been on a quiet, slightly obsessive hunt across this city for the genuine article -- the kind of Sunday morning experience that transports you straight to a bustling Hong Kong tea house. And friends, I found it. It's called Dim Sumlicious, and the name does not lie. The moment the first bamboo basket hit our table, I knew this was different. Dim Sumlicious has a chef with over 30 years of experience honing his craft in Hong Kong, and it shows in every single bite. This isn't the frozen-and-steamed shortcut situation you'll find at so many spots around town. These are handmade, skillfully executed classics that carry the weight of real tradition behind them. The har gow wrappers had that perfect translucent delicacy -- thin enough to see through, sturdy enough to hold. The siu mai were plump and properly seasoned. The char siu bao, both baked and steamed, hit every note I was hoping for. Cart after cart brought something worth ordering, and nothing disappointed. But beyond the food, what struck me about Dim Sumlicious was the atmosphere of care. The service was warm, attentive, and genuinely hospitable -- a rarity in a city where restaurants can feel like they're processing customers on a conveyor belt. If you're a dim sum devotee who's been settling for "pretty good," your search is over. Dim Sumlicious is the real deal -- no asterisks, no caveats. Make a reservation, bring the whole family, and go hungry. Las Vegas finally has its yum cha moment. Don't sleep on it.
