New Windsor's best kept secret. Absolutely the best Italian food north of the city.

One had a chicken parm and I tasted it and thought the sauce was similar to how my grandmother use to make it.

Delicious and return visit worthy. For our second visit, the family now included an infant. While we had no reservation, at 5:15 pm the joint was empty with the exception of a single table of 3. Literally within seconds of walking in, we were promptly turned away. No checking the book. Nearly zero engagement with us. Just a curt, "We're completely booked. But you can eat at our sister location next door." Yeah. No. Our money and generous tipping habits went instead to Cosimo's where families are not just welcomed, but treated with care and consideration. We highly recommend the same for other families.

As one native United States of American and one ethnic first generation Indian, we were awestruck by the amicability and kind heartedness of the wait staff. However it took them very long to take orders and were not attentive. It was a Saturday night so they may have just been busy. Moving towards the food now, it is difficult to keep a pleasant humor even thinking about it. The scallops and artichokes were an enigma. The taste of neither the scallops nor the artichokes bore any resemblance to what anyone with a brain and a functioning palette would even begin to think they tasted like. I didn't even want to eat them and scallops are my favorite food. Personally I think it was breading on the scallops but whatever it was I will never repurchase. A symphony in blending flavor and artistic nuance. They were terrible but well presented. As for the mains. The ravioli was incredible, a religious experience, even. Except for the edges which were horrendous. I am a patient woman, having grown up in the proud nation of Uzbekistan, but even I could not begin to fathom what happened to the edges. They were pretty hard unless it was supposed to be al dente then it was impeccably done. Hats off. Overall the cheese ravioli was definitely the best meal we had all night. What can I even say about the pesto pasta with grilled chicken. For over 20 dollars, I was thoroughly let down. The pasta gave me the impression of reinforced concrete, both in presentation and in texture. It was a challenge eating it. On further analysis, the reason it hurt so much is because of what could have been. In a closer examination of the sauce and the pasta itself, I saw glimpses of greatness. Untapped potential that turned what was frankly just a bad dish into one of the greatest sorrows of my life. The texture was very hard and the chicken lacked any form of seasoning and the color blended in with a pasta and seems baked rather than grilled. It brings me no joy to write all of this. But it must be said. 10/10 would totally recommend to friends for the vibes and ambience but 3/10 for food with price. Wait time was a bit much but it's okay.

While I feel the menu is small and lacks enough "red sauce" dishes, everything we ordered was great. We split the charcuterie and the cacio e pepe meatballs as appetizers. I was dipping bread in the meatball sauce it was so good. We all had the Burrata Ravioli Bolognese. Amazing and perfect size to be filling but not making you decide between overeating or taking home leftovers.

We were looking for a Fourth of July restaurant to eat at, and unfortunately every place we went to…read morewas reservation only or reserved for a private party. We then walked into Cafe Pitti and they were able to seat us immediately! They had to seat us inside because the outside was for reserved seating, but that was not an issue at all. Upon reviewing the menu, we realized it was basically ALL seafood, with the exception of a few steak dishes/one lamp chop dish, and the pizza. There were also absolutely NO chicken options whatsoever. We decided to order the steak sandwich, and the NY strip. The steak sandwich was medium sized, and it came with chips on the side. The chips were just a handful of what seemed to be wavy potato chips. The NY Strip came with a side of Brussels sprouts/red peppers/zucchini. The steak was a decent size but the side was very small. The flavor of the steak was delicious, and the steak sandwich also had good flavoring, however I feel like the portions are quite small compared to other restaurants I've been to. For dessert, we ordered gelato, with an espresso, and a latte. The gelato was delicious! Felt like we were eating it straight from Italy! The espresso was good but small, so ask for a double shot if you're gonna want more. The latte was basic. Our waitress was very nice. Service was good but could have been a bit quicker being that the restaurant was still fairly empty at that time. We did have to ask for some bread which they brought out with olive oil. I would definitely return to this restaurant to try their pizza because it definitely looked delicious. Just be aware that this restaurant is geared towards seafood eaters!
