This Korean restaurant opened on 2024-01-08. They offer 10% the entire menu during from 2024-01-08 to 10. It is husband and wife owned. There is complimentary tea served at the table. The actual tea will change based on the season. I ordered the following: 1. Bulgogi Burger, double patty ($12.95). Made into a combo (+$5.50). The combo consists of fries with a Korean dip, along with pop. 2. Deep Fried Dumpling (7 pcs) ($7.95). 3. Hallabong Sparkling Tea ($4.50). It is made with Korean jeju island clementine. The smash burger uses a beef mixture that allows it to be thicker and juicier than the typical thin, slightly burnt smash burger. The mixture of bulgogi aioli, tomato, cheddar cheese, tomato, lettuce, and pickled onion strings, made the entire burger extremely flavourful and juicy. The Deep Fried Dumpling was crunchy but a little bland in taste. I spoke with the chef, and he said he would come up with some Korean dipping sauce. The Hallabong Sparkling Tea is very refreshing. It consists of clementine orange and its skin, giving more of a marmalade taste. The service is very good since it is the wife doing the service. They plan to change the menu every 6 months. There are 8 tables of 4 for indoor dining. There is very quiet, easy-listening music playing in the background. They are also licensed to sell canned and bottled beer. Daniel Yoon is a chef-owner. He worked at Aloette Go as a sous-chef and at Park Hyatt's Joni restaurant. Anna Lee worked as a manager at a sushi restaurant. Because Daniel is classically French trained, the Korean dishes use French cooking techniques. There is free WiFi. The restaurant is wheelchair accessible, but there is no door-openbutton. There are separate male/female washrooms downstairs, so they are not wheelchair accessible. There is paid neighbourhood street parking. There is one high chair for little children. Review 2024-004

Decided to try this restaurant because of a yelp video and thought wow those burgers look good, let's try it! Came here and it was pretty empty - probably because it was new and recently opened. The decor is cute, modern. Ordered the bulgolgi burger, fries and sparkling Hallabong which is a citrus tea. Also ordered the sweet and spicy korean fried chicken. Surprised at the price point too because it wasn't too pricey. The service was amazing! Extremely attentive and knowledgeable about the food and drinks. The food was mind blowing. The day before we had some pretty bad food, so coming here made up for it. The burger was perfectly cooked and juicy. The fries were seasoned well and crispy. The korean fried chicken was marinated well inside and the sauce was good on the outside. Haven't had a meal where everything was good in a very long time - would definitely come back here!

Came here for a casual date night and it did not disappoint! The service was excellent and the staff were very attentive and friendly. The food is amazing here! It's a great fusion of diner favourites and Korean bar food. The bulgogi burger was incredibly flavourful and juicy. Very well dressed. Definitely make it a combo because the fries are seasoned and pairs really well with the dip they provide. The sweet spicy KFC platter was crispy and sauced to perfection. It was slightly spiced differently than traditional KFC (I think they added a bit of cumin?) it was great and unexpected. The dill ranch sauce was soooo good! And instead of pickled daikon they provided pickled thinly sliced fennel root. Such a refreshing and cool spin! The shrimp rosti was plentiful in the shrimp department and had this sauce between the crisp noodles and pancake that was such a good balance of flavours and textures! 10/10 recommend!
