Upon arrival the food was still piping hot, it smelled AMAZING and they gave sooooo much food!!! It was nearly packed in trays with foil in a box and the food was piled high. I've been a big fan of Chinese food ever since I was a young adult. I guess I'm a big fan of the noodle dishes and the fresh crispy veggies stir-fried into them. There must be a gene somewhere in my DNA that makes me keep coming back for more. Moreover, the high carbohydrate load must get processed through my system rather quickly as well and I don't gain as much weight for the volume of food consumed. I was tipped to try Ding-Ho after visiting my local Fresno County Library one day which is directly across the street on Bullard and Marks. My cousin happened to be walking inside with his Vietnamese girlfriend for a lunch-break siesta, he noticed me and then informed me that he had just eaten there. My usual joints are usually China Bistro on Bullard & West and Hunan's which never seems to disappoint. I never thought there would be a better Chinese spot until now. Ding-Ho is the place to go for the freshest and tastiest Chinese take-out food with little damage to your pocketbook. It's much more classic and authentic Chinese than the other two places I mentioned above and Asian fusion places in the RiverPark area. Tonight I tried the following items: - Special Ding-Ho Chow Mein - Mongolian Beef - Spicy Chicken - Special Fried Rice - Pan Fried Noodles I highly recommend the Mongolian Beef dish as one of your entrees. It was richly flavored, the meat was savory and tender and the jalapeños added the necessary punch if you like spicy food. I do. The spicy chicken was also a favorite of mine with all white meat chicken that was free of gristle and fat and a delicious sauce. The chow mein noodles and the special fried rice were the complementing dishes that I just had to order to complete my meal. I believe I got a taste of some bok choy which I haven't had in a long time. Overall, 5/5! read more
