Fried rice was cold and no flavor I even ask for extra egg and extra pork paid for it but did not receive it. potstickers were cold and tasteless pork chop chewy chow mein I ordered extra green beans, snow, peas, asparagus. There is five pieces of green beans, a little bit of snow peas, and a few asparagus but I paid extra but it had a lot of cabbage too much filler, the noodles have changed. Also they have changed the containers. They serve the food in and by the time you get home, the food is ice cold I do not recommend this place any longer. It's very sad that a business has been there for years sells out, and the new buyers change the recipes to make more money. Very sad. read more

We came here on an afternoon weekend and it was pretty busy. As soon as you come in there are huge menus on the board and the prices are some of the cheapest around. We ordered the dry braised green beans and a combination plate with pork egg foo young. The combination plate comes with fried rice and chow me in, though we requested white rice. The chow mein was kind of bland but the pork on top of it was pretty good. The egg foo yung was pretty basic and kind of small. The dry braised green beans were good and very garlicky but had a lot of flavor. For these two dishes we paid around $16, which is not bad at all considering there was plenty of food. It's kind of nice to see the 3-4 men cooking the food in front of us since there is no wall for the kitchen, it's just one big room. There were a few tables to eat the food at but no proper trash can because everyone seems to take their food to-go anyways. The lady running the register was very warm and greeted everyone who came in. We hope to come back to visit! read more

I ordered food online to be delivered. Received a confirmation text, then another text to tell me my food would be delivered in approximately 20 minutes. 15 minutes later I received yet another text informing me that my order had been canceled, and it may take 5-10 days to receive my refund. I called the restaurant several times and got no answer...no one picked up the phone. My husband drove to the restaurant to talk to them. He found the doors locked, but could see people moving around preparing food. They looked at him but refused to answer the door and let him in. My family has been going to Ding Ho 1 to 3 times a month for TEN years. If you only count once a month that is 120 Orange Chicken entrees over 10 years time, you would think I would know what to expect. We have driven 5 miles out of our way for 10 years because it was so good. The original Ding Ho owners just sold and the new owners have taken over; this was our second, AND LAST time ordering from them. The night before last I ordered Orange Chicken. The chicken was so overcooked it was difficult to chew, basically inedible. Today I drove over and showed them the burnt chicken. The first person who helped me looked at it and went "ohhhhhh", she offered to make me a new one, but I did not want to eat right then, she did not offer a credit. She then went to get whoever was in charge. The in charge person listened to me, looked at the chicken and then said it was not burnt. He wanted me to look at one they were cooking now. I reminded him I've had at least a 100 of these, I didn't need to see how it should be. He said that's how they cook it now. I am so sure that other long time frequent customers like me will also be disappointed in the new ownership and they will go somewhere else like I am. First time here. I ordered the Mongolian beef and fried shrimp, my friend got the fried shrimp combo. The service is very friendly, although I have to say it's all pretty dry. . Unfortunately, not only did they still use the same containers, but even worse, the quality of food has gone way down. The food is not worth the $52 that I spent on the whole order. A solid choice for neighborhood Chinese takeout. I like that they don't dress the chicken salad, rather they put the dressing in a separate container. The dressing is very sweet, so all the more better to be able to control the amount. The portion sizes are huge: I got four meals out of my combo meal of chow mein, fried rice and chicken wings. However the actual food itself lacks quite a bit. Mongolian beef was almost no spice but drenched in sauce that wasn't very good, pan fried noodles are so so. Girlfriends teriyaki chicken was boiled and then grilled which gave it a rubbery taste and texture. Not the worst Chinese spot in fresno but definitely a little below average and not a spot I'd highly recommend to people wanting good Chinese food. And once I got the food it was a complete disaster. if you can't even fix the delivery timing why would you even run a restaurant? However, through all the organized ( and at times not ) chaos ... when you do receive the order you have waited for... It is a good meal. It's just very chaotic. We enjoyed Ding Ho Kitchen while watching the new Mulan and it was such a fun family evening. We ordered 2 orders of won ton soup, an order of fried rice, an order of special/house noodles an order of orange chicken and kung pao chicken (by itself) This was WAY too much food! I would suggest 1 order of won ton soup for a family. The won ton soup was delicious. Nice flavorful broth, tons of vegetables and they placed the pork inside a bag so you can add a little bit of pork on the top of each bowl. The kung pao chicken was different in that it wasn't too spicy, but, I think they added pickled jalapenos. I don't know, but it was a unique flavor in kung pao that I wasn't familiar with. The house noodles are definitely the star though. Tons of shrimp and veggies. Loaded with cooked noodles. It's a good one. I wouldn't suggest this though if you have any picker eaters as there is way too many items to dig through for picky eaters. I live in the Tower District and will make the drive to Ding Ho because their food is so good. The portions are massive, and they're always delicious. The Honey Walnut Shrimp is my absolute favorite. Everything was flavorful and packaged in these cute plastic containers instead of those cheap boxes that leak. They get your order right and prepare it well, can't really comment on ambiance as they focus on takeout. Fried rice wasn't that good, and my bf loved the chow mein, but I thought it was alright. Tried the wonton soup that came with 10 pieces and it came in a big container so I had high hopes, but it just wasn't flavorful. The meat was good, but the wonton wrapping was flavorless and they boiled the wontons in water then placed it in the broth after, but the broth didn't have a lot of flavor either.
