Walked in for an afternoon pick-me-up. The cashier didn't greet me but rather just stared at me. Awkward. I said "hi" as I was reviewing the menu boards -- and she mumbled something to another associate and they both started giggling. I would say that's a bit unprofessional considering she didn't even acknowledge me. I couldn't decided what I wanted but needed to use the restroom (was catching a flight at LAX right after this stop) but was told the restroom was not open to customers. Managers: it makes no sense to run a boba shop and not have restrooms available to paying customers especially if there are chairs and tables (because that means people will lounge, chit chat, work on their laptops, etc.). Not a great way to run this type of business. I think I was told to use the restroom across the plaza in the Carls Jr. or in whatever fast food chain is there -- why would I spend $7+ on a boba drink and not be able to use the restroom to wash my hands, etc. Also, please train your team to be more inviting. It makes all the difference in the world. I'm in this area quite a bit but will not visit again the next time I'm in town. read more

Wtf is going on at this location. Ding tea has some of my favorite milk tea flavors and they're open late when I'm off work. They're also conveniently located on my way home, right off the 405. You can also order online. BUT the staff is completely inept. One of several things will inevitably happen when I come here. 1. There is a long line/people taking forever ordering/guy taking order is like "got it. Got it. Got it." 2. I will order online arrive, 15 minutes later, have to wait in line to tell them I ordered online, and then my drinks have not been made yet. 3. I order online and my drinks have been made incorrectly. So I have to wait for them to be remade. There's no winning, it seems, in ordering and obtaining a drink efficiently. Our new go-to boba place. My daughter is obsessed with this place, and we go at least once a week. I only get the kumquat lemon tea, so can't really rate the boba, but my daughter says it's very good. They get pretty crowded, but you can order ahead of time. Highly recommend Ding Tea. read more

Certainly one of my go to boba shops in the South Bay. Ding tea is consistent on all of their beverages and I think prices are great in comparison to other boba shops. This Ding Tea is always poppin'! I usually come in the evenings on weekdays and it's always so packed. Drinks take about 10 minutes to come out and they have a waiting area. Some of my favorite drinks include the oolong milk tea, brown sugar milk tea and for fruit tea a lychee green tea or a peach green tea. A good place to get boba if you're in the area. There's not a lot of boba places on this side of town, which is why I go here if I have a craving. I got a Thai Iced Tea which is on par with authentic Thai iced teas at restaurants. Their boba is pretty well cooked, chewy and sweet. This is a smaller Ding Tea compared to other locations, but it does the job. I like it because the staff is on point and ready to take your order. Ding tea is one of my favorite quick pick-me-up boba spots in LA. This particular location has a parking lot that's normally pretty empty most of the day, so that's always a plus in LA. My go-to drink is the Jasmine green milk tea with less sugar. They use nondairy creamer here but have non-dairy milk options such as Oat milk that can be used as an alternative. Ding tea's milk teas are more on the fluid and light side and not creamy, which I like for hot days. I really don't know what it is about this place but it is always insanely crowded and takes a really long time to get your drinks. Perhaps it's because this location is really the only boba shop in the area, but be prepared to wait 25+ minutes after placing your order for your drink. There is always a big line out the door and people crammed inside waiting for their drinks. I feel like the drinks and boba here aren't even that good, the boba usually isn't warm and soft and the drinks itself are only okay to me. Can I just say ... finally FINALLY a boba place nearby! I like Ding Tea and I would usually drive to their Gardena location but this place is closer to home for me. My favorite ones that I've tried are: -lychee green tea with aloe vera -monster boba latte -kiwi honey sweet -jasmine milk tea with cheese foam I usually order my drinks with 70% sugar and less ice and they've always turned out great. Prices are affordable, they accept credit cards, and there's plenty of parking. Just keep in mind that, due to covid, they do not allow public use of restrooms. read more

Ever since I came to California for my trip, i was craving boba tea. Never had mainland boba tea before and I saw Ding Tea pop up as one of the closest shops and it surely did not disappoint. The workers were really nice and accommodating the two days that I came by for drinks. I'm obsessed with wintermelon milk tea and theirs is soooooo freakin' good. Literally was craving it the next day after that I had to go back to get it again before flying back home to Hawai'i. The tapioca pearls itself is soft and chewy, just how I like it. I am not a big boba drinker whatsoever, but this place is incredible and the menu is very versatile which is much appreciated. It's your average hole in the wall that is overshadowed by the skeleton of Honeyboba that's been there for years, but give this little hole in the wall a chance. I am vegan and they offer two different non dairy options to go with essentially all of their drinks which is nice. They offer Oat Milk as well as Almond Milk substitutes on any drink that contains regular milk. Also I could be wrong but I Don't think I was charged an additional fee to swap milk choices. I ordered the Taro milk drink, which was incredible! The only mistake I made unknowingly is, if the drink does not state it comes with boba, you have to ask, which I did not know. The individual working the counter was new as well and very nervous so he forgot to ask, which is completely fine, we've all been there. Drinks are 10/10! We found this place on Yelp in need of a great dessert place and oh did we find it! Our fam is such boba tea lovers...everywhere we travel we search for it. This place was such a fun find and really had super unique versions of boba tea. They also had dairy free milk tea options which is such a BIG DEAL in my book. :) I don't like very sweet drinks and thankfully this place even had a chart for choosing your sweet level (whaattt) this was a dream for me. :) Every single drink on the menu looked amazing! Update: Stopped by for some boba and asked the guys what the difference is between golden boba (default) and crystal boba (costs 0.75 extra). The golden boba is their tapioca boba made in house and soaked in brown sugar syrup. It has a light golden color with a soft, chewy qq texture. This is like the regular black boba at other boba shops. The crystal boba is clear and jelly-like and has a more firm, bouncy texture. They recommended ordering this boba with their fruity drinks. read more

Very clean tea shop. Big bright menu on the wall helps with the crowd flow. Cashier was very friendly and attentive. Service was quick and the drinks were delicious! They even hand out punch cards for rewards. We had the monster boba milk tea, taro milk tea, and jasmine fresh green tea with cheese foam. The milk teas were both super creamy and the cheese foam was thick and tasty. The amount of cheese foam they put on the drink is more than what I've got from other drink stores! I don't know her name but the one who took my order was horrible, and their customer service is awful. Three reasons here: I ordered a "fruit" tea, and I said I want no syrup. She said that with no syrup, the tea would have no flavor. I told her that is OK because it is "fruit" tea, so even if no additional sugar or syrup is added, the "fruit" tea would have some degree of natural sweetness. I know this by my experiences with numerous fruit teas. Then my "fruit" tea came out, which contained no "fruit" or hint of fruit or whatsoever. It was just a "green tea". Second, she or none of the staffs did not call my order number or whatever to inform that my order was ready, so I had to check the tea cup wondering if it is mine. When I asked her if it's mine, she quickly said "yeah" with no apology or anything. Finally, if you as the staff knew that the "fruit" tea would be simply a green tea without syrup being added, then you should have charged me just for the green tea, not for the fruit tea. Fruit tea is more expensive than green tea in their menu, and is this how you reap off your customer? I will NEVER come back. read more

Beautiful, Rapid Service and Awesome Customer Service is my view of this location. Honestly I got my cashier's name but didn't get a chance to note it down. She was so patient with me and two other customers that was with me. We would often visit the location in Los Angeles and we're looking to order the mocha coffee slush. She stated that they don't have that but they do have the Hokkaido Coffee Slush. A friend and I decided to give it a try. We fell in love. My mom tried a different flavor. Well when I got home and got started on this review that's when I noticed that I have had that flavor before. The cashier actually set matter straight for me. When I paid my first visit to Ding Tea that flavor was actually the first one I tried and fell in love with it. I didn't realize it and I started to order the mocha slush and I often thought to myself that it didn't taste like my very first one. I'm too excited now. I ordered a lychee milk tea and it came out as a Thai tea and they offered you redo it the same way and then it was just a fruit tea and the third time it came out perfect and Andrea was fantastic! She told me that the creamer was non-dairy bc I always do almond milk as a substitute. She gave me a sample of the creamer and it was very sweet but I'll try it again but less sweet. updated review: the employees here are extremely loud and obnoxious playing loud music and screaming and laughing while making drinks. there are several people still in line waiting to place an order and they do not seem to care or even acknowledge you when you walk in. service here has actually gotten worse somehow as drinks take even LONGER to make and now the staff all seem to be immature and don't care when your order gets made or taken. i came back since there's literally no other boba in the area that open late and i immediately regret my decision. i'm not coming back ever, this location is awful. every other ding tea is better, this one specifically is terrible. read more
