I didn't expect there to be so many people at the grand opening but despite the wait, the drinks were worth it! The wait was mostly due to the amount of people ordering and not the workers inside because I saw them hustling and when it got to my turn we received our drinks almost right away! The cashier was amazing and even gave us suggestions and the grand opening coasters were super cute! I really like the fact that I can watch them make my drink In front of me so you know they're doing it correctly and quickly! Glad a Dingtea finally opened up in the valley. I use to go to the one in Anaheim whenever I was in area but was always bummed it was so far from me. My go to drink is the Signature Milk Tea with golden boba. So so good. Has the perfect balance of sweet, creamy, and tea flavor. No other boba spot has anything like it. We are a fan of boba drinks and this one is in our top 5. The ice is shaved to perfection and has consistency as well as not melty. Flavor is perfect and boba to cooked perfectly too. The only boba place opened before 12 on a Sunday within 4 miles of North Hills. So a big time plus for this place for being available. Was ordering a slush and wanted to make sure they cleaned the container well and not cross contaminate given the person who was drinking it has allergies and such. I give this spot 5 stars because of their customer service. They ran out of cups when I asked for extra ice on the side so the barista there took off their crocs and filled it up with ice and told me to keep it. That's dedication. I do not like the cups they use for the boba. I got a milk tea and tried to drink the boba but guess what the cups aren't high quality plastic so the entire cup smushes together while you're drinking the boba which leaves a really weird feeling. The milk tea was okay and kind of made me a little sleepy. Overall, not my favorite. read more

Now this is the real deal! They have the best and highest quality boba and teas I've had. And I've been around the boba block some time now (since 2003 to be exact). Their boba pearls are so perfect and golden and soft and chewy. Been to this place many times. I always get the signature milk tea with egg pudding. So yummmy! When I'm feeling something a little sweeter, I'll get the brown sugar milk tea. Cannot go wrong with those two drinks! The shop is pretty small but the decor is very cute and simple. I like how everything is open so we can see everything they're doing. It's pretty refreshing to see how your drinks are made! The shop's clean and the staff is always welcoming. They welcome me every time I come in, even when it is busy!! Ding tea Van Nuys has been my favorite boba spot ever since they opened! i love trying the many different drinks and toppings they have (especially the egg pudding!!) So glad Ding Tea is finally in the Valley and I don't have to travel to Anaheim. My favorite go to drinks are Wintermelon milk tea with egg pudding, Brown Sugar milk tea with boba, Peach-Mango Green Tea with rainbow jelly, or Monster Boba Latte. There are also other toppings that you can choose along with different drinks and you can adjust the sweetness or ice level! Pretty peaceful environment where students can study. Employees were also very friendly! It's next to Pho So 1 and what else can go wrong with getting boba after pho? It's also next to 99 ranch so u can do a little snack shopping. Great trendy looking place. They're drinks are yummy and customizable. I usually order the regular milk tea or brown sugar milk tea with boba. I've also tried the slush drink in pineapple, guava, and lychee flavors. All yum. My only gripe is the regular size is on the small size so we end up ordering the large. I was so excited to find out they're finally opening one where I live :) Their taro milk tea IS THE BEST TARO DRINK IVE EVER HAD! i usually get that with sea cream and egg pudding and ALWAYS get my drinks SLIGHT ICE so it doesn't get watered down because I like to have my drink for longer hours when I study. Their yogurt is also really good!! I love their strawberry yogurt and peach yogurt. And to those who don't know, there IS a difference between yakult and yogurt! I prefer yogurt better :D read more

I have to say that I am thoroughly impressed. Usually franchised boba isn't a good sign for quality. I ordered the Matcha Milk Tea with less ice and less sugar. The drink came out with the expected ice amount and the taste of the matcha was very good and strong. The boba is chewy which is nice, then again it's a boba shop. If they messed that up, then what can you say. Overall, I liked this shop. The staff were nice and the service was on point. Finally some competition opened up in the valley. The bobas are a bit sweet even after reducing the the sugar but they're tasteful. One of the best in the valley tbh. The hokkaido oolong was the best I have tried and the Taro as well. My only complaint is that although The employees are nice, they are not well trained, their answer to most of my questions was "IDK." In addition, you ask for less sweet or less ice and they put the same amount. Also, they don't offer almond milk for ALL their drink, bcuz they claim they haven't been trained, which is inconvenient bcuz not everyone likes or is able to digest their unhealthy nondairy powder milk. Please offer Almond or coconut milk for ALL your drinks not only the Lattes, so U don't loss clients, thx. read more

I was excited to try a new and hyped boba place but I was extremely disappointed. If you look at the other bad reviews, trust what they say because one, their drinks are NOT consistent. Two, their drinks are EXTREMELY watered down. Even if you ask for no ice or less ice, they will put a lot of ice into the mixing shakers and shake the tea or whatever your drinking so that all the ice melts. Not sure if they are doing this to save money on supplies, but there is definitely no difference in ordering drinks with or without ice. Drinks will be watered down regardless. Three, the prices here is ridiculous compared to every single other boba shop in the valley. Basically $5 bucks more or less just for a small. $0.65 to add boba or for each topping you add. And $0.65 to get the bigger size. Let's say you order a large drink with boba. The menu will say $5 but in reality, you will pay almost $6.50 for your drink. You can get 2 large drinks WITH boba at bobaloca across the street instead. Not worth the hype. Don't bother wasting your time trying anything at this location. read more

It is okay, but not the worst. Ordered the signature milk tea and matcha milk tea which are supposed to be the best on the menu since they have hearts next to them. Both tasted watered down even with 30% ice. Also, waited 10-15 minutes which felt kind of long. They are a newly opened place so hopefully they can make these improvements. read more

Customer service is not good for one thing. The other is the fact that the tea makers hair is not tied up while working. They are making food/beverage and they are not practicing safe hygiene. Hair should be tied up. I find it gross. There could be hair inside your drink and you wouldn't see it because they are sealed when you get them. read more

So stoked they opened a location in the Valley. No more having to go to Eagle Rock's or Hollywood location! Went for the first time last week and the staff was super friendly.
