Too pricey and the flavor is mid. The cafe decoration looks nice, however the drinks here don't match with the price tag. I paid $11 for this small milkshake, and it's no where compare to a $7 milkshake I got from chick fila. There are nothing special about this milkshake that justifies for the price. Our two kids noticed it immediately and stopped drinking them at the same time. My wife and I tasted them as well and confirmed the issue. Instead of acknowledging the concern or checking the drinks, she responded rudely and stated that the issue was our problem, refusing to offer a refund. This was not about the $25 spent, but about the lack of professionalism and customer care. A simple acknowledgment or willingness to address the issue would have made a difference. Unfortunately, the churros themselves were mediocre...not enough cinnamon flavors but more sugar. Half baked inside (could have been hard because GF doughs are gooey). What a cute little cafe! While the space is on the smaller size, they utilize every single inch of it. The design and decorations are perfect. Now for the best part the churros! Absolutely delicious! We ordered: Churros con Chocolate- 9/10 These were exactly what I wanted; thin, crispy churros that are easy to eat and perfect for dipping into the warm chocolate sauce. The texture was spot-on: light and fluffy inside, golden and crisp outside. It had about 5-6 in an order. There was a little too much sugar for me, but I just shook it off and kept going. I could've eaten a whole tray, dangerously good! Stuffed Dulce de Leche Churro - 9/10 These surprised me because they were huge basically the size of a hot dog! I thought they'd be the smaller sampler ones, but nope, full-size and stuffed. The dulce de leche filling was amazing.; not overly sweet, super smooth, and just right for our sweet preference (we're definitely 70%+ sweet people). Loved how the churro still had that nice crisp texture even with the filling. Affogato - 9/10 Simple and classic, vanilla ice cream with an espresso shot. I love when that espresso bitterness mixes into the creamy ice cream, especially while snacking on churros on the side. My only wish? A little more ice cream because I didn't want it to end. Hot Horchata Latte - 9/10 So cozy! It had a great cinnamon flavor and that creamy horchata taste that makes you feel like you're drinking dessert. I dipped some churros into it (highly recommend). I got it hot this time, but next round I'm definitely trying it iced, I think it'll pair even better that way. Overall Vibe: Cute, cozy, and a little romantic; perfect for a date night, girls' hangout, or late-night dessert craving. They were open until midnight when we went, which was a bonus. There's a water and utensil station for sharing, and enough seating inside for small groups, plus a few outdoor tables. We parked on the street by the meters, but I think there's also a small lot behind. Upon walking in, the lady with glasses wasn't all too friendly. I asked her how her day was and she just stared at me, waiting for me to order. The Spanish Latte was pretty good but the Carmel Macchiato tasted lifeless. When we ordered the churros, they were HUGE but the inside was a little too soft. I opened it up and it was grey and definitely raw (pictured above). We told the lady we thought it was raw and she just said it was normal, offering no refund. The ambience was great but they have no bathroom. The parking was a little hard since there was only metered parking or garage parking. It was hard to pick so we decided to go with a sampler of their filled churros. The flavors cant be substituted or swapped btw; Nutella, Dulce de leche, guava, and Oreo. The guava is interesting but not the favorite. You can't go wrong with Nutella but the dulce de leche was the winner! They also serve beverages both hot and cold. Only things lacking is that the location itself is small so seating is limited as well as the space to move around. There is also no bathroom so we had to walk to the corner and use the one at Crave Cafe. I sent my bf in for a hot horchata latte and he came back with that, plus the most amazingly delicious stuffed churro sampler, which came in the following flavors: Nutella, chocolate, guava and dulce de leche. All were delicious, but my favs were the guava (Hawaiian vibes) and the dulce (reminded my of my childhood where my godparents used to make a caramel out of boiled condensed milk). Four options of churros (Oreo, Nutella, Mango and Dulce de Leche). Was still warm after delivery, which is a sign of great service and packaging. Each flavor was good, but I think it's a toss up between the dulce de leche and the Nutella for our favorite.
