6/15/2025 Happy Father's Day. Today, my daughter treats me popular Ding Tea drinks. Upon entering the store, the ambience is eye catching (5 stars); It is a popular place for college students to study or have a coaching session! It has a big shared parking lot. My first drink is signature milk tea, whose tea flavor is very weak - thank a friendly and smiling staff, Leyah for remedy to add some coffee jelly to my drink, which immediately enhanced the tea taste - her service is 5 stars; The Lychee Green Tea is very good, especially the Lychee jelly, which is soft and chewy, delivering a flavor of fresh lychee fruit (4.5 stars); Toro Oreo is also very good with an excellent presentation (5 stars); Boba is soft, elastic and chewy (5 stars); If you love coffee, you may find some Ding Tea's drinks are too weak in flavor - this might be the fact that it uses powders instead of tea leaves to make a tea drink. A wish list: a real coffee drink will be added to its menu in the future (Note: Recently, the Teaspoon chain store added a Vietnamese coffee drink to its menu for attracting some coffee lovers!). Overall, the store rating, I think, is 4 stars and a half.

I didn't realize I haven't reviewed this spot yet, but this location is a frequent go-to for me and my boyfriend! We love to come here when we are craving a little sweet treat. The drinks here always hit the spot, and recently I got the lychee slush with only 30% sugar, and it was still super yummy!! My go-to drinks are the iced oolong milk tea, and sometimes I add the golden boba. It's always chewy, delicious and never cooked bad. The staff here always handles things well. They know us by now and are always kind and quick with making our orders. This is also a perfect spot (if you snag a table) to study and use your laptops on. They change the wifi from time to time so you can always ask once you purchase something! Thank you to the staff here!!

Love ding tea! The bobaristas are super friendly and helpful. This location is very open with lots of seating. You can definitely meet up with friends or work on a laptop here. Boba is always great quality. I usually get passion fruit green tea half sugar with lychee jelly. My husband loves the taro slushie with boba.

Great Boba spot. Super clean, chill atmosphere and great staff. Love that they ask you if you want to half sweet as sometimes these drinks get way too sweet.

Boba here is so yummy! We visited one while in San Diego and were surprised to see one in LA area. It is very clean inside and super quick service.

Its the @Light_skin_dragon coming to you with a great tea/Boba place! I honestly dont know where or how to start this but I'll just say it was a very interesting day and the only reason why we came here! I remember having a really bad headache and ashley promised me tea! So I asked her if she could find a tea place because in the month of January I was drinking tea! She found this lovely quite place not too far from csun! Its crazy this place was kinda new and i haven't been around the area for awhile. But ashley let me pick my tea which was a honey green tea which was so tasty and i loved the way it tasted. She got a signature one it is the first in the picture with bolba! We sat down and we spoke. It was nice because we actually held a convo and she engaged with me! And we got along for the most part! I'd highly recommend this place and there is parking infront. A parking lot to be exact haha

A wonderful spot to hang out at and sip some delicious drinks!! I enjoyed every drink I've had so far here and I have been able to get some quality studying in at this spot. There is relaxing space for customers and the sound of drinks being made isn't overly loud or annoying. The music is perfect for the place and I don't have any problems at all coming here. I love the customizations available: ice level, sweetness level, milk options, and toppings. I love the strawberry yogurt drink recently but I have also gotten the boba milk tea drinks that are also very yummy!! (hokkaido oolong milk tea, brown sugar milk tea, taro milk tea).

Delicious variety of ice blended, fresh, flavored, or milk teas, fruit juice, yogurt, latte, or hot drinks! There are plenty of toppings to choose from and you also have the option of adjusting the sugar and ice levels for each drink as well. Service has been friendly and helpful in answering questions and providing great recommendations! We enjoyed the jasmine green milk tea, lychee black tea, winter melon milk teas, golden boba, lychee jelly and coffee jelly. Place is spacious, with cute decor and plenty of indoor table seating and bar seating by the windows. They are located by Mochinut with plenty of parking spots in the lot.

consistent boba chain with standard drinks and customizable toppings, sweetness, and ice levels! my favorite is the lychee green tea with popping boba :) honestly can't go wrong with ding tea, and i love that there's something for everybody! service is friendly and very fast. there are some outlets along the booths if you're looking to work, and a good amount of tables if you're looking to hang out!

I've had Ding Tea often at other locations in LA and OC so I'm glad they're bringing more franchises out to the SFV. Out of all of the ones I visited, this location has had the best interior. It's so pretty and has a ton of seating for big parties. There should be plenty of parking spaces since it's in a plaza so you don't have to worry about that. Service was really great and fast - made ordering and getting my drinks a breeze. I think I'll have to go again though. I ordered a Jasmine Green Tea with Sea Salt Cream at Less sweet and barely had any flavor. I'll visit another time with a different order and see if I just ordered a bad combo.

I had no idea that Ding Tea was a chain spot, and I'm so glad it is. It's the cutest little bubble tea shop I've ever seen. They have plenty of indoor seating, and many people were there studying on laptops, as it's also close to a local college. They had so many options to choose from. I had never tried a lychee drink before, so I went with their peach green tea and, of course, had to add boba. You get to choose your sweetness and ice levels, which I really appreciate. I wish more places offered this option since I prefer my drinks on the sweeter side. The staff was super friendly, and my drink came out quickly. This makes it perfect for grabbing a quick drink on the go or hanging out with a friend. I'll definitely be coming back!

Such a cute shop with cute photo op wall, great service, and plenty of seating. Good sized menu and I opted for the passion fruit green tea with rainbow jelly and milk tea with golden boba. Drinks were delicious, boba was made perfectly, the only things wrong was that I got the smaller size. I will definitely be back to try more!

As soon as we walked into the establishment we were greeted and welcomed. The baristas answered all our questions regarding ingredients and food allergies. Also, plenty of parking spots available. Inside the establishment there's plenty of huge seats like couches while waiting for your drinks. Many just hanging out with friends playing board games while sipping their milk teas and specialty iced coffee drinks. The milk teas and specialty iced coffee drinks we've tried and enjoyed are the Ube Coffee, Coffee Brûlée, Bobo Coffee, Caramel Milk Tea, and Strawberry Milk Tea. We enjoyed the specialty coffee drinks because they were not too sweet. You can taste the espresso along with the ube and brulee yet it's not overwhelming taste. It's a good balance. We added Bobo The Boba to our list of go to milk teas and iced coffee drinks in the SFV and have shared this place to our social circles. We look forward to trying other items on their menu.

Update to review:…read more After hearing from owner Jay, I thought I'd elaborate here: The shop is probably a paradise for the little ones and their parents: Lots of cartoon-y imagery and colorful walls, and toys to buy; and a kind of 'lounge' that was quite adult in it's design which made for a little cognitive dissonance..that, plus the signs to please not jump on the furniture, lol. My visit was on one of those blisteringly hot days in August. I just wanted a boba milk or fruit tea, and there were a bewildering number of menu items that, granted, I reviewed in a cursory fashion because I was on a mission to get a boba and get back under that blistering sun to continue my errand run. I scanned for something to satisfy my thirst without packing on 500 calories, and noted that most items displayed seemed to have cream or custard, or all sorts of dessert-y items. It wasn't until I was finished with whatever it was I got -- some kind of fruity slushy with boba -- that I saw the small menu listing for milk or fruit teas. So my bad for that, but my observation still stands: This is a Gen Z sort of business with plexiglass partitions and the impersonal, contactless pay system -- do they take cash? -- that's for the convenience of the business, and not necessarily the customer, at least this customer who's obviously not their target market. Most people my age are watching their calories and macro nutrients, and proobably don't even drink boba drinks. They still use cash and even in a kid-oriented business, appreciate signage that is simple enough to read without every item screaming for attention. Finally, the contactless pay system so beloved by businesses that embraced it since Covid, really makes for an impersonal experience, IMHO, and does little to build customer loyalty. The young man who took my order was absent from the premises when I arrived and took awhile to show up. He then answered my questions, but didn't make the effort to ask me if he could help me find what I was looking for. That's another hallmark of businesses left to be run by inexperienced hands. The actual experience of the customer walking into a shop and giving you business should be thought through as carefully as the marketing, the menu, or design of the business. That's where the bucks get exchanged to keep the business thriving, no? All this said -- I think I am just too old for Bobo the Boba. I am not their target demographic and peeps under 40 may be fine with Bobo. ~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~` Too fussy too Gen Z. Wanted a boba but navigating menu of frilly creamy mixes was a turn off. Wanted lower calorie drink options but didn't see until after I ordered.

The shop is nice and spacious with lots of seating and chairs but I got my food to go because I had so many things to do today. I chose the basil pesto panini, tater tots, and I also got the Tropical Waterfall without any Boba additions. For the tropical waterfall it's so delicious!!!! I could have added the Boba or even gotten custard squares with it but personally I loved it just the way it was. When the weather gets even hotter this might be my go to drink because it's so delicious and refreshing. My basil pesto panini was perfect, from the beautiful browned lines on the bread to the perfect taste on the inside. I got a side of the basil pesto sauce which made a good dipper! For the tater tots you have an option of spice level which I didn't fully understand until I got mine. I love spice so I got mine spicy. I learned it's the seasoning. I personally did not like the seasoning and it wasnt spicy until I finished chewing and swallowing and the seasoning felt powdery to me. Despite this I brushed off as much of the seasoning as possible and the tater tots themselves were perfectly hot and crunchy on the outside and soft on the inside. I'll definitely be back for more!

One thing I really appreciate is that the drinks aren't overly sweet, so you can actually enjoy the flavors without feeling like you're drinking pure sugar. Visited: 4/1/26 & 4/26/26…read more DRINKS Dalgona Matcha Viet Coffee ($6.25) - 7/10 This drink was enjoyable overall, but the matcha didn't taste very high quality. It leaned more on the milky side rather than having that deeper, slightly earthy matcha flavor you'd expect. It still had a nice sweetness and was easy to drink, but if you're someone who really appreciates strong, authentic matcha, this might fall a bit short. Viet Coffee with Sea Salt Foam ($6.25) - 7.5/10 My sister ordered this at 50% sweetness, which ended up being a great choice since 100% would likely be overpowering. The sea salt foam added a nice creamy contrast that balanced the drink well. However, it didn't quite capture the rich taste of traditional Vietnamese coffee and instead tasted more like a sweeter, standard iced coffee. Still good, just not very authentic in flavor. The Nutty Latte ($6.75) - 4/10 This one wasn't for me at all. The texture was extremely thick and chunky, making it difficult and honestly unpleasant to drink. It felt like drinking straight peanut butter mixed with milk, and the chunks would sometimes get stuck in my throat. It also didn't resemble a latte in either texture or taste. Iced Rose Latte with Cheese Foam and Honey Boba ($6.25 + $0.85 + $0.85) - 7.5/10 If you enjoy floral drinks, especially rose, you'll likely enjoy this one. The rose flavor is definitely present without being too overpowering, and the cheese foam adds a slight savory contrast that keeps it interesting. The honey boba adds a bit of extra sweetness and texture. Overall, it's a solid drink, just nothing particularly standout compared to other rose lattes. FOOD Mozzarella Cheese Sticks ($5.25) - 6/10 These come with your choice of sauce, and I went with ranch. They're very standard mozzarella sticks, nothing particularly memorable or unique. The cheese wasn't as melty as I would've liked, and the breading was noticeably thick, which made them feel a bit heavy. They're fine if you're craving something fried, but not something I'd go out of my way to get again. Okonomi French Fries ($5.25) - 7/10 The sauce is definitely the highlight here! It has a slightly sweet flavor that makes the fries more enjoyable and adds something different. Unfortunately, the fries themselves were a bit underwhelming. They tasted slightly stale, lacked seasoning, and weren't as crispy as they should have been. Chicken Wings ($7.75) - 8.5/10 This was surprisingly the best item! The chicken was fresh, hot, and had a really satisfying crunch. While they weren't heavily seasoned on their own, the texture and freshness made up for it, and the ranch dipping sauce helped add more flavor. Definitely a solid choice if you want something savory alongside your drink. How to Order: Ordering is done through a touchpad system, which makes the process quick and easy, especially when it's busy. They also have a very wide variety of drinks on the menu, so there's something for pretty much everyone, whether you like coffee, tea, or more unique specialty drinks. Seating: This is a great place to study or hang out for longer periods of time. There's plenty of indoor seating along with accessible outlets, which makes it convenient if you need to get work done. However, it can get very loud and hectic during the week since a lot of students come here, sometimes to the point where it feels chaotic with people talking loudly or even yelling. Weekends are generally a bit calmer, but the music is still played fairly loud, so it may not be ideal if you're sensitive to noise unless you bring noise-canceling headphones. I didn't mind it at all and could work normally. Atmosphere: One big plus is that they're open late until midnight, which makes it a really convenient late-night spot whether you're studying or just want somewhere to relax. The shop itself has a modern, casual vibe, and the high traffic gives it a lively atmosphere, though that can be a downside depending on what you're looking for. Parking: It's located in a plaza, so parking is relatively easy and accessible. Restroom: The restroom requires a code to access and is relatively clean, which is always appreciated.

These days, I'm scared about coming to food places only because I have A LOT of dietary restrictions. And because of that, I need to ask employees the ingredients that go into various foods and drinks. This typically makes feel really bad, and the employees need to do extra work than needed because of what I'm dealing with. BUT Sophia, and Adrian did not mind that at all.
