Wow, a little bit of background of this amazing Women Own Business. Kasandra went from employee at this location for 3 years while attending school, to Female Business Entrepreneur after completing school. Her heart kept calling back to specialty drinks, customer interactions and service excellence. Great find, driving around this neighborhood. Kasandra was amazing, was able to suggest excellent recommendations and was professional. Ample parking, comfortable seating, and a clean environment. My wife was raving about this place and she finally brought me here, and the drinks we got definitely surpassed my expectations! We ordered an Elote Late and a Banana late both with creme brulee cold foam. SO BOMB! Had great service from the kind employee that offered samples and suggestions for what to order. Once we were about to pay for the drinks and add a tip for her great service, we found out she was actually the owner! You can tell she puts a lot of effort into her drinks and business. This is a great boba spot located in the same plaza as the Walmart and across from Bath and Body Works. The place was spacious but the chairs weren't put down yet because there were a couple of people already placing orders. There was only one employee in the morning taking and making the orders, but service was still good. Prices were good and not as expensive as the other places I've been to. The woman who said she was the owner doesn't seem to know her own menu. I came in and asked for a winter melon tea as usual. She asks me black or green tea. I said just a winter melon tea. She again asked me the same question. She ended up overcomplicating the whole thing, honestly some of the worst customer service i've ever had. I've ordered just the winter melon tea many times as it is a tea by itself that's non caffeinated you can literally google this. But she kept saying none of them were decaf. I couldn't be happier that there's a boba tea shop opening in Pico Rivera that in the same plaza we used to hang out at Starbucks few stores down. The business is still quite new and I couldn't find it on Yelp until I added a new business. As you can see from the photos, the inside is spacious, but not a lot of seatings (2 tables and few bar seatings). For me, Ding Tea is never my favorite but a hang out place with boba tea. This was my first time at this establishment and honestly, I'm very picky about my Boba. A lot of places don't cook the tapioca pearls long enough leaving them a little hard but the Boba here was so soft. They remain chewy for a while, which is perfect. The base of the drink itself was really good The interior of the Boba store was very cute. There was a little photo-op kind of near the entrance of the door of the drinks themselves. I was so excited to see there was a Ding tea in Pico. It's in the Towne center- so it's in a prime location. I've been to this location twice so far when visiting my parents. It's probably the most spacious Ding tea I've been to- there are many tables available to sit or study. Each ding tea menu varies- this location does have a lot of different options of drinks, bowls, and snacks I usually go with Jasmine MT and adjust sweetness and creamer level because I prefer the tea to stand out- so far the taste of drinks haven't been consistent - the first time I visited this location the tea was perfect This second time it lacked flavor- I was not able to taste the jasmine. It did not have the distinct ding tea Jasmine MT taste. It tasted like slightly watered down green tea, possibly it wasn't brewed long enough ? I got the plum lemon fruit juice for my fiancé and it just tasted like lemon juice with sugar, no taste of plum at all Both times I've been there, Ive seen one or two employees working at the register/making drinks, so service can get slow when busy. My go to boba shop! For me, Ding Tea chains are my favorite because their tapioca (golden boba) is SO delicious. It has the perfect texture and the best touch of sweetness. I've been to a few Ding Tea's but there's something about the way the drinks taste here. They ALWAYS hit the spot. I kid you not, you'll get your drink within a minute of ordering! I haven't had much of the milk teas, but I can promise you the fruit teas are spectacular! The place is very clean and design is simple and cute. The employees are usually pretty nice too. You can also adjust the level of sweetness or ice levels. This location also sells Monster energy drinks, macarons and acai bowls... If you're into that sort of thing. I visited this shop recently and I am sad to see the decline in quality. They now charge for no ice or slight ice, which is disappointing, since the other options often results in the cup being packed with ice. Next up was the flavors, which tasted less potent and flavorful compared to the milk tea when they opened. One good thing is the boba did not change much, so that was still enjoyable. Lastly, a rise in prices makes this Ding Tea from a hero to a zero. I don't see myself coming back in the foreseeable future. read more

Located in a busy area...this one is my first for this area. I've been to others and I will say that the music is right on. It's clean and the servers promptly took our order. Servers were okay..nice. They look tired. The strawberry yogurt tea isn't as good as it's supposed to be, but the boba is yummy. Fresh Jasmine tea is good...a little too sweat for me...I forgot to order 25% sugar. It's still good though. I think the two girls are having a long day...hopefully their day ends good.
