After a rigorous workout, I visited DiNico's Pizza on Christmas Day! I must say that I was bound to visit at some point because its location sits along Roosevelt Rd inside of Berwyn Towne Square, a route I drive regularly. If you have tunnel vision as it is easy to have while driving along Roosevelt Rd then you just might miss the storefront of DiNico's Pizza, so keep an eye out for Berwyn Towne Square, or GameStop which stands out within. A cool fact about DiNico's is that it is open 24 hours a day. As for my visit, I was acknowledged by the employee shortly after I walked in and up to the counter to look at the display of the pizzas. It always takes me some time to look, especially when I am unfamiliar with the restaurant itself. With little options featured in the display, I ended up ordering a slice of Chicago-style deep dish stuffed pizza - cheese since it was the only one that captured my interest as a vegetarian. I was out as quickly as I entered DiNico's, but prior to leaving with my order, I took notice of the number of tables and seats available inside of the dine-in area of this restaurant. Once I arrived at my residence, I opened the container to look at the slice that was given. Instead of receiving one slice of pizza, I was given two slices which I was thankful for because I was hungry after my workout. Hmmm, I guess Chicago-style deep dish stuffed pizza - cheese was not a popular option on Christmas Day? But anyway! Two slices for the price of one! Yass, honey I will take it! And the slice of Chicago-style deep dish stuffed pizza tasted delightful; both slices of pizza replenished the well-needed calories that I lost during my workout, tehehe. Being that I had a good experience, I am very well open to visiting DiNico's Pizza again whether it be on a holiday like this visit, or any other day throughout the week when I am in the area. Used to order from here all the time, but after multiple bad experiences, we're moving on. The dough was severely undercooked - like it was soft . When you bit into it you can see the dreaded "gum line" that indicates under, incorrectly, or poorly cooked/prepared dough. Even after we put it in the oven to finish cooking, the texture was off. I will recommend DiNico's to just about anyone... the service is good and the food, even better. They have a small area to dine in but always a good time. If I'm here past 11pm at night, it feels like heaven at first but then I definitely feel it in the morning. No regrets though (haha). Recently went and ordered (for two), spicy bbq wings boneless, fries, and a slice and it came out to about $23. Good price for two people and plenty of food (to take home too). I'm always going to give a place 5 stars if they go above & beyond with their service and this day they did. Our wings were forgotten about & the apologized many times & offered us cheesecake on the house. How thoughtful & great service. I've never experienced dinicos In Berwyn the way I did tonight just left the restaurant 2:50 am I work the graveyard shift so I figured I'd treat two of my coworkers. I ordered 12 hot wings, an Italian beef that was dipped hot with hot peppers and an cup of juice, and a slice of pizza with. I come here almost every day on break at work. Mind you, I only get a half hour break and it takes me 10 minutes to get there in 10 minutes to get back to work. I saw a gentleman grab a pizza off of the shelf in the back, throw it in the oven for about three minutes cut me a piece and handed it to me.. again I was disappointed and it wasn't even warm. These pizza slices in my opinion just aren't good unless they're hot out of the oven which I'm always willing to wait. I've waited up to 30 minutes sometimes and never complained. I asked the lady why she wasn't just honest with me and told me it was a reheated piece of pizza. She looked at me in my eyes and told me it doesn't matter. It was a free piece, wasn't it? We grabbed takeout here and they killed it! Them seemed busy which is a great thing to see. The employees were working together and FAST to get everyone their pizza. Way to go Di Nico's! The single slice size is ginormous. They're cut in triangles and almost the size of two if you get the single slices! Slices are about $5 which is a steal for the size. We ordered online and their process was very easy to use. They have a TON of options to choose for your pizza including the crust types. They have thin, stuffed, and pan crusts! The specialty pizzas caught our eye but we wanted to go with a classic thin crust sausage. The thin crust in my opinion is thicker than a normal "thin" crust which I like; there's still some substance to it. My favorite part of the pizza is the sauce because you can taste how homemade and fresh it is. The large thin crust was $20 which I thought was fairly priced. We've ordered from here various times and every time we order, our order has been correct and served piping hot. The pizza is best to eat right away and make room in your fridge because you'll probably have leftovers. We heated some up in the oven for a breakfast of champions and it tasted just as good as the night before :D read more

I work close by and drove past yesterday, so I figured I would stop in. They have a decent menu on large TV screens above the cashier. I ordered a sandwich and wanted to make it a meal for $3.50 which includes fries and a 16oz soda. Wow. There's a reason this place has so many one star reviews lately. My pizza showed up with no toppings. I figured maybe the driver gave me the wrong pizza or something. When I called, the woman who answered immediately said, "Oh you ordered online," like this was a regular issue and not a mix up with the delivery. "Well, that's just how it shows up on our end, so there's nothing we can do." So that's the policy? Too bad, you'll just have to settle for whatever we give you? My own policy is not to pay for things I didn't order, so I'll be contesting this charge on my card.
