I've had salad here from years. always been phenomenal but tonight I just got a salad I asked them to remake due to my chicken being cold and no croutons. they literally didn't remake it chicken was still cold and only threw croutons on it. Passing through winter Haven on an errand. I was just hoping to avoid the same old junk. I hit Yelp with a search for cheap eats around me and up popped Dino's. It it's still surging with a name like Dino's, then we are off on the right foot. Classic old school drive in. Super helpful and welcoming waitresses. My 4x4 was too big to get a tray hanging off my window, but they quick and friendly to an outside table. The menu is surprisingly diverse. I went for : Fried Mushrooms- just perfect? Onion rings- lightly battered, crispy and hot outside, warm and soft inside Cole slaw - really good, huge portion And a grouper sandwich. Again, simply awesome. A perfect fish sandwich. This was such a fun, nostalgic find for my son and I. It reminded me of the old drive up burger joints in the 70s. The only thing missing was the servers wearing roller skates. The menu is fabulous as are the prices. I had the catfish (which is no longer Cajun seasoned) and my son had the large burger. They each come with two sides. The portions were HUGE! The food was piping hot, fresh, and super tastey! You can call ahead, drive up and eat in the car, or sit outside at the table and enjoy (which I suggest because the food containers are awkward and with the food filling them I'd probably spill in the car). there is limited seating inside the diner. The server we had gave us excellent service! The only reason I didn't give 5 stars was the cleanliness. Not a huge deal, and didn't deter me. The cement around the door area was slippery, greasy, and sticky. I almost slipped because it was slippery and sticky at the same time. I know, weird but it is. It didn't look like it had been degreased in quite a while. The tables outside hadn't been cleaned off either. I didn't get much of a look inside as we ate outside. I'd definitely go back! My son and I are excited to take the rest of the family to check it out! read more

I've been going to DIno's for the last 24 years and every time (except once) I've ordered the same thing; Large burger basket with rice and fries. The burgers are grilled and has that nice grilled flavor to them. The owners are Greek and they know how to make good food. It's also a good value. The aforementioned basket will get you a burger, fries and your choice of coleslaw or yellow rice for less than $4! As apparent in the name of the place, it is an old style drive in. A waitress will come to your vehicle, take your orders and come back with it on a tray that sits on your window. You can also sit on one of the three outdoor benches of two indoor tables, but most sit in their vehicles. This place is a fantastic find. I've eaten there several times including very quick call ahead take out. The waitresses were pleasant and knowledgeable and the shop was pretty funny guy. This is an old Greek place that runs like a top. The menu is limited as you can see from the pictures on Yelp but you're not missing anything. First and foremost the meat is authentic. I've always loved this place. It may not have shine and polish, and you have to eat in the car or outside, but the staff is friendly, the food is excellent, availability is insanely great, and the prices are cheap. Just the kids menu alone has about seven different options at least. I LOVE the gyro here, and that they offer both a chicken and lamb version. Their fries are just average, but the rest of their food I've had great. They even have fried mushrooms, lots of seafood, chicken dishes, different burgers. Really, it's amazing of the variety - add up plenty of options, good prices, yummy taste and friendliness, and it's one of my favorite places. Can't recommend enough.
