First, I'd like to put it out there that I'm not one to write reviews. I just think that Diosa deserves its recognition. We came to Diosa on a Sunday dinner. My friends and I were celebrating my friend getting a promotion. As soon as you walk in, you are greeted with beautiful chandeliers and wonderful hosts. We had a reservation at 6:30 and we were seated almost immediately. Our server Victor greeted us and told us a little about their style of service and went on to make his recommendations. We ordered the guac - nice presentation, chunky and a little spicy. Not over powering, just right. 8/10 Aguachiles - nice flavor. Shrimp cooked nicely and the mango habanero sauce was a favorite. Nice flavor. It is spicy so beware. 9/10 Mary tiera - streak was properly cook and seasoned. Tender meat and the mash potato on the bottom has a nice kick to it and the crunch is a surprise. Really enjoyed. 9/10 Cast iron carnitas - chunky shred of pork, good but could be better. Nothing out of this world. 6.5/10 Coco salmon - tender and flavorful fish. Nice crispy skin and the risotto was cooked perfect. 8/10 Churros foster - amazing presentation. Good flavor with the banana and caramel with the crunch of the nuts and paired with ice cream on top. 10/10 We really enjoyed the food and service. Very attentive and we love that the manager Sheryl was very accommodating and checked up on us. Not many managers in restaurants do that only when there is something wrong. At Diosa they care about their customers and the quality of food. We will definitely come back with friends. This place will be a regular on our rotation. read more

Diosa is fabulous! My experience was amazing. The service I received was awesome! they Bring the dishes ordered to the table in the order they are finished being cooked. The waiter was fast with bringing food to the table and presented it very well. I met two different managers. Adrian and Stella BOTH stopped by my table at different times to check in and see how our meal was. The both saw to it that our night there was memorable. The food was great and for what we received it was well priced. Their dishes are like works of art! The bar made great drinks with high end ingredients. The "Tequila Goddess" was awesome!! Also, the ambiance in that restaurant is wonderful. The music was a tad loud for my taste though. All the staff is dressed sexy (my favorite word). Being a FIDM graduate I was impressed by the tempting yet still appropriate attire of the Staff. Stella, the manager, was wearing a black dress with gold sequins that accented everything about her! I really wanted to love this place. Guessing this was their first Mother's Day crowd because no one was prepared. Had a 1pm reservation and still a line out the door. Apparently they overbooked and were STILL accepting walk ins which is ridiculous. Waited 45 outside in the heat to be seated. They were passing out champagne outside to those that were waiting but I was told I couldn't have any because it was only for OLDER mothers???!?? What does that even mean?! How offensive. Once we were finally seated it still took 30 min for a waiter to even come take our order.. that same waiter LEFT in the middle of his shit so I don't think our food order even made it to the kitchen. In total we were there 2 hours and had nothing but chips and salsa (that isn't even complimentary) and our drinks. We asked for the check after it seemed like we were totally forgotten about and they had the nerve to put our food that we never received on the bill. Absurd!!! We left without eating and were given a $50 gift card for our troubles. I will never be using that. This was an absolutely awful experience . Do not recommend. read more

Diosa has a great vibe, and the bar area is absolutely beautiful! However, the decor in the dining area feels a bit gaudy and could be toned down. While the service was decent, the overall experience didn't quite justify the high prices. The food and drinks are overpriced for both the area and the quality. Our table ordered the Enchiladas Verde, Carne Asada Plate, and Steak Empanadas--everything was good, but nothing exceptional for the cost. One major issue we encountered was being given a drinking glass with a deep crack. We were lucky no one was cut, but that's a dangerous miss on their end. They did remove the drink from the bill, but it shouldn't have happened in the first place. Another downside was the valet situation. They try to force you to use valet for a parking lot that is literally right in front of the restaurant, which makes no sense to me. If the prices were more reasonable and valet wasn't mandatory, it might be worth another visit. But as it stands, it's probably a one-and-done for me. read more

Came out for small bites and drinks with friends cause we heard it was the new spot in town. Beautiful, upscale interior. It even feels a little out of place in the shopping center in which it is located. Prices are a bit steep but everything we had was delicious. The menu is mexican with a variety of drinks but an emphasis on tequila and different types of margaritas. All of the drinks were well-balanced and aesthetically pleasing. Unfortunately we had terrible service from the rude server assigned to our table. Barely checked in on us, gave attitude and visibly rolled his eyes when my friend was letting him know how we would split the check (in two, nothing major). Bummed because this is definitely someplace I can see myself bringing friends or celebrating for delicious food, drinks and ambiance (the music selection was great) but was not pleased with the service at all. read more

This place is gorgeous. Clever designed it did an amazing job. As a very classy and elegant vibe to it. The food and drinks however, not so much. Everything is extremely overpriced and I get that they're trying to have it matched the aesthetic and ambience of the restaurant, but the drink qualities are trash. They use syrups and juices that are store-bought. Considering how much of a craft bar they're supposed to be and how elegant and beautiful the places, I expect a little more of craft cocktailing to be involved which entails making their own syrups and juices. Food also is extremely overpriced and personally didn't taste authentic to me. And considering all the other Mexican restaurants around the area, I would suggest people just go elsewhere. I recently visited this "upscale" Mexican restaurant and unfortunately, I have to give it a two-star review. While the atmosphere was pleasant and the decor was nicely done, the food was quite disappointing. The food was mediocre at best - it lacked the authenticity and flavor that one would expect from a Mexican restaurant. I'd expect more for the prices they charge. It was clear that the ingredients used were of a lower quality and lacked the freshness and bold flavors that true Mexican cuisine is known for. The place itself looks great, drinks were okay. The server was professional and had good knowledge of the menu. Overall, it seems like the focus is to get people to promote this and hype it up on social media. At least I can now say I tried it.
