My family and I enjoyed this place a lot. We came in with a party of almost 20 and they took great care of us, we were very pleased with the service. We all thought the food was good, the vegetable empanadas and enchiladas colorado were some of our favorites. The salsa and guacamole are really good too. They have a long list of alcohol and non alcoholic options as well. The decor is so pretty, I absolutely loved the way the restaurant looked. My family and I will definitely be back. read more

Different from what I expected, but in a good way, had a very decent large menu selection, which I did appreciate the food was definitely more on the pricey side, but the taste was good the drinks I love the presentation definitely Instagram worthy but a little bit Sweet , and I'm not a big fan of sweet drinks because they give me headaches . The service was amazing. Our host made sure we had a great experience and everything we need while we were visiting. He checked on us multiple times without asking for anything and even when they made a slight mistake he had no problem fixing it for free of cost. the ambience is definitely amazing, the decor, the set up everything absolutely beautiful. I wish I could've had a whole photo shoot I was able to get a few pictures in but not as much as I would like to, so I definitely have to go back to try more food, and the desserts and get more pictures and, my overall experience and I will give it a eight out of 10 only because like I said it's a very pricey Place like for my pasta was $130 and then the drinks been $20 an up if you do the math at the end the bill was pretty pricey, but a good overall experience I will be back. read more

I absolutely loved this place! The ambiance is gorgeous! I came with a group of friends to celebrate my birthday. The service was great, they were very attentive. My food was delicious. I ordered the chicken al pastor plate, the chicken was cooked perfectly. It had a little spice that I wasn't expecting but loved, it was served with pineapple, cauliflower, rice, beans and tortillas. My drink was nicely made and so pretty (mariposa). They also gave me complimentary churro ice cream for my birthday. If you order water they do charge for it. We were seated and the waitress didn't come around for about 20 minutes then another 20 minutes passed by and we weren't even given water. The entrance is just magnificent, your eyes get delighted with the beautiful view that you get as soon as you walk in. The atmosphere that they have is great for a girl night out, date nights, or any celebration. We went during brunch time and we had an amazing time the drinks were delectable and the food was delightful. Went to this restaurant for a group dinner. Great customer service from all the waiters and bar tenders. Food was delicious, I had the surf and turf with a Ceasars salad. Pros: Ambiance & Fancy Drinks Cons: Loud & food doesn't come out at the same time. To be fair, they tell you ahead of time they bring it out as it's ready but a member of our table waited over 30min for his food and we were all almost done with our food. Overall: It's a nice get away from the LA scene. I recommend making an early reservation because the later you go, the longer you wait for your food & the louder it gets (due to the DJ) so if you're trying to have a convo it's pretty difficult over the music. Ambiance was good but I guess because of the holidays they packed up the place, seemed like they added extra tables in the middle, I had at least 4 people bump in to my chair because of how snug it was to get around. The place is beautiful but the overall service... First off we had a reservation at 6:45 which the host could not find and told us if we wanted to wait it would be an hour wait for a party of 4. My friend was running late and was able to make another online reservation for our party mind you at 6:40 that same day for 7pm, 15 minutes after our original reservation yet we were told to wait an hour but were promptly seated at 7. Service was not that great, our server kept disappearing our first round of drinks came out quickly but second round I think she forgot took almost 20 minutes just to come out one at a time. We started with the guacamole it was spicy with a hunk of tangy and greasy made chips. My boyfriend got the pollo mole, it had a really good flavor came with rice and black beans. I ordered the steak arrachera, basically fajitaa it came with rice and beans but I substituted for the nopal cold slaw that didn't not disappoint. All the food was great, but the mole was delicious. I would give it a zero if I could. Had our annual Christmas Party at Diosa. For starters one server for a party of 40+ ppl. Presentation of my main course was amazing, but the Cameron's al la Diabla was salty to the point I could not eat my dinner. Everyone else that order the Cameron's al la diabla, did not eat them either. When I complained the server said sorry, I told Chef already and was not offered something else ,so no dinner for me and the other staff that ordered the Cameron's a ma Diabla. Upscale Mexican restaurant in Downey. Nice inside, staff was courteous and friendly. Menu , not a typical Mexican food. My girl had salmon and I had Rib Eye steak. Steak cooked to perfection. Poblano mashed potatoes were the bomb. My girls Margarita sucked, no booze and tasted like a fruity drink. I had Vodka/lemonade, both drinks had good amounts of alcohol. Restaurant is a little pricey, $65.00 for a Rib Eye, check your bill at end, had a 3% surcharge. No bueno, totally against the law. We complained and management took off bill. I was so excited to try Diosa and my friends planned a surprise brunch for me this past Sunday. Unfortunately, the service was so bad that it took away from the overall experience. The restaurant is absolutely stunning and very spacious. The food is delicious and drinks are great. However, the service did not match the price point for this restaurant. How can you expect to pay those prices with subpar service? I started to get concerned when the waiter forgot to take half our tables order and no one had drinks for 45 min. Then I realized we did not have one assigned waiter to our table, further leading to more chaos and confusion. We had guests main plates out before drinks and appetizers. A waitress served a guest the wrong plate and was visibly upset when the guest mentioned they had already taken a bite of the side dish. Overall, an odd experience. The food and drinks were so good, but not worth the headache and price. I really hope they get better organized and recognize their wrongdoing rather than the customer having to constantly remind them of missing food/ items. read more
