Used to be halfway decent nail shop but the female owners cavalier attitude and clear disregard for her customers is off-putting. Additionally, they require an appointment now or they turn you away; which is extremely ineffective and inconvenient. Don't have a "walk-ins welcome" sign if you don't take walk-ins. Lastly, Kevin does TERRIBLE nails. Which is why he rarely has anyone at his table and is open a lot. His dip nails are sub-par and he doesn't complete the job in good timing or shape them properly to make-up for the long time he spends on the nails. I don't appreciate being trained on and paying high prices and it's still not right. I keep trying to give this shop a chance but every time...it's a huge disappointment. Hi! This is a new spot I found near home and loved it! They are so clean and nice. I went in on a Thursday after work around 4pm and I was the only one there. It felt nice! They're quiet and friendly. I tried the dip powder on my nails and my nails did NOT chip or budge at all! I wish I had a picture after 2 weeks because they still looked nice. I just have a bad habit of biting it off. But my nails are weak and the dip powder really helped with the strength of them considering I work carrying and throwing boxes all day. 10/10! read more

I've been going to this nail salon for almost one year. The technician did a great first job and I continued to have him do my dip powder and gel pedicure. Most times my husband would a get a pedicure as well. Recently, my daughter would also cone and get a pedicure. Today, after all the money we have spent at this salon, no one had the decency to call to advise me that my regular technician, who I had an appointment, was not available. Come on now, customer service should always be the top priority. This is place for getting my nails done and my mom. The staff has always been friendly and attentive and their work is top notch. Sometimes they would get busier but you can easily call to make an appointment so that you are guaranteed to be seen. I have come to Dip Nails a few times in the past for pedicures and have never been disappointed. The staff is always polite and makes sure you're happy before you leave the salon. Just as a personal preference I usually don't ever get my nails done because I have all of the equipment to do it myself at home (because I am annoyingly picky about how my nails look). I finally decided to get them done yesterday and I'm in love. I got a full set with Kim after reviewing some of her pictures of her work here on Yelp and she did not disappoint. She was very kind and talked to me during my appointment and made me feel super comfortable. On top of all that she worked fast! I didn't want to get my nails done here, but my friend had a date and asked me to accompany her, and since I needed a fill, I figured why not? Wendy, the girl who did my nails, was very nice at first, but she started giving me attitude when I kept telling her the nails were super uneven and thick. I kept showing her every time she tried to finish, and I said, "Look, they're super thick and uneven, and all of your nails are different shapes." She finally said she was finished, and I told her she wasn't done, and my nail had never looked this bad before, and she said fine, he'll fix it for you. Tony, another tech, came over to try to fix my nail, and he, too, noticed that all of my nails were uneven and different shapes, but after another hour, my nail was still thick, and I gave up because at least it wasn't as noticeable unless I looked up close, and I felt bad for my friend who had already gotten her fill and pedicure done, while I was still getting the fill. Worst of all, my husband, who never notices anything, commented that my nails resembled a bird's beak... Painting over nail bed, which pretty much guarantees they will lift and peel back once my nail grows also bumpy looking fingers not smooth like it should .
