Went in for a wax, I usually get Jessica but she wasn't in, got this rude, crabby lady, who didn't say one word to me, even when I talked. She was very rough, pushing my face from one side to the other!! When she put the wax strip on my face she pressed so hard it actually hurt more then ripping off the wax strip!! This past Sunday I decided to give this place another shot and got a deluxe pedicure after I had a horrible manicure in December. Two days later the gel polish is chipped. This place is horrible. Our nail tech said her name was Stacy, but I don't think it was. She was rude disrespectful and cocky. Nails were terrible. Thought maybe we could fix them at home but they were just that bad. My daughter was in tears because she hated them. We turned around and went back to have them soaked them off. Didn't offer a refund and talked about us the whole time. Had to get them removed. She told my daughter if price was an issue she should have her friends from school do her nails. Price was never an issue. I was just shocked at first that she would charge $80 for a very short set of almond shaped nails. Now I have to take her someplace else and pay for her nails again. I first came here back in April, and got a pedi & full set by Rae, and my nails were so beautiful, pedi was very mediocre, still I was happy with my experience. I don't live here, but when I was in town and thought of a nail salon and a good nail tech I thought of Rae! Excited and hopeful she still worked at this location, I arrived, I see her at her same station, with no one there, and was instantly excited. I asked the front desk lady, if she was available, and she yelled back at Rae and said "Rae she wants you for a full set and pedicure, are you available?" This woman Rae, looked me straight in my face and shook her hear "no" while saying "no, I don't want too, I'm doing my nails and I'm going to go home" (mind you it was 12:30pm mid-day, they open at 9:30am) then the front desk lady saw my disappointment and how rude Rae was. She added "Rae don't feel good she got a toothache" then proceeded to match me with who ever was next. My nails are not much to brag about, so I won't even post a picture...ok at best. Rae sat there the entire time I was serviced, doing absolutely nothing. Then at a point she started talking about me to her seat mate, and I know this because several times her seat mate would look at me at smirk. I really wanted to like this place, but after how my mom was treated her nor I will be back. I'm from CA and my nail tech was immaculate, but here I would just do simple nails b/c when I showed a pic the tech would say oh we have to air brush that um no you don't my girl did it by hand! Also my mom paid $90 for a sub par manicure and pedicure in which she left bleeding. She was upset but I told her to go to the girl at #15 big mistake, she had major attitude stating "we only get simple nails" ummm ok , I thought you weren't capable of much like you told me. So my mom goes in for a gel polish change it was $66 for nails and toes. On top of it being $66 she did not even paint the nail fully, you could see the sides without polishz I think that's ridiculous and when I asked why so much the answer was "that's the price". I went to a much nicer salon, and I paid $45 for gel manicure! The girl at 15 told me there was an employee doing cocaine and asking the girls if they want to buy. I won't be coming back. This felt more like a rushed "wash and go" than an actual pedicure experience. From the moment we walked in, everything felt hurried. While I was helping my kid get settled, my nail tech was already pointing at my chair, basically telling me to hurry up and sit. My kid told their tech several times that the water was too hot, but nothing was done until I said something--only then did she add cool water. Neither of our pedicures felt complete. My kid's tech barely filed, tossed on a hot towel, and did a single coat of polish. Mine didn't file at all, didn't cut cuticles, only slightly scrubbed one foot (not both), and skipped polish as I had asked--but didn't do much else either. As she began to conclude the service, I had to ask her to remove buildup from my toenails, which was supposed to be part of the service. When I asked her kindly if we were going to remove the buildup, she got visibly annoyed and then aggressively dug the cleaning tool under my nail--four times, once on each side. There was absolutely no reason for her to do it that hard. They also wanted $48 for a kids gel pedicure and $28 for regular polish, which is outrageous, especially considering the lack of service. We didn't go during a busy time. From the time we walked in to the time we left, the whole thing lasted about 22 minutes, meaning that the pedicure itself was less than 20 mins. Also, there was a guy that sat down a few minutes after we did with another technician, and by the time we were leaving the parking lot, he was walking out the door to his car. I arrived early (at 9:15 am) planning to wait but saw the salon was already open and at least four (4) customers receiving treatment. I was asked to sit at a pedicure chair and water was started for me. I selected the color I wanted for hand and toes. It has been two (2) weeks since my visit and my nails still look perfect other than my nails growing out - no chipping, no lifting/peeling, etc, If you are seeking to be pampered, this is not the salon for you. Admittedly, the focus on cuticle was minimal. While I was there, someone arrived with a complaint about their nails and customer was advised they would see her to fix the problem immediately. I know that sounds weird, but pedicures sometimes get painful for me because the tech is doing something too hard not thinking if this is causing someone discomfort; whether it's filing too hard, or nicking my skin causing me to bleed, and I'm just in pain the whole time. Today I came in for a pedicure I was put with Haley and can honestly say I won't be back it was the worst pedicure I've ever had. She never turned the bubbles on in the the pedicure tub, did not use any lotion after the callus remover and walked away after when usually the nail tech helps put your shoes back on, not Haley. Normally don't do this... but I had the worst fill of my entire life a couple days ago. The guy doing my nails was very obviously sick, sweating, and coughing the entire time. What really did it was him not wearing gloves, wiping his sweat from his forehead with his hand, and then going back to doing my nails. Like I cannot make this up lmfao. Worst. Place. Ever. Run as fast as you can. Went in for gel french manicure, came out butchered. Tech (I think her name was Nina), ground my nail beds to almost nothing even AFTER I told her I don't want that done too much because the dremel thins your natural nails too much if you're not careful, she didn't listen. Then I told her I don't want my nails any shorter then what they are, I liked the length she replied I'm. It cutting I'm filing. Well you guessed it she didn't listen and took the length away by filing. Do short that a few of my nails late shorter then my fingertips. I told her I'm upset that you didn't listen and look how short my nails are. I said well there's nothing you can do, let's finish so I can leave. She then used the cuticle trimmer and on my ring finger pulled the skin so hard, that she left a huge hole/wound that would not stop bleeding. I pulled back and screamed "ouch". I know this was intentional because she was mad I told her she didn't listen to me. She tried to get it to stop and I said, enough I'm done. I washed my hands,l and wanted to leave. I went to the front to pay, yes pay, because I have integrity. I showed another tech that was sitting up front what she had done and in their language was saying something. "Nina" went to the front and said I didn't owe anything. Well I can tell you I'm owed a lot, my nails hurt so bad from the Dremel going too deep, the cut on my finger stings everyone I wash my hands. And let's not forget my left hand the gel peeled off, it wasn't dry before she started the next layer. Take a look at my hands for the holiday! The worst experience ever at this place.
