    Mediocre nails with a touch of Racism

    Mediocre nails with a touch of racism. I was the only person in the establishment that had to pay before my service. The guy claims that's just how he does things, i wouldn't recommend going to this Spa unless you tolerate racism and discrimination. I gladly paid but I don't appreciate being the only person and so happen the only black person that had to pay before my services. Rude unprofessional and I definitely wouldn't waste time coming here if your black don't know what other groups they are in the mood to treat like garbage.

    Let me start by saying that I have been going here for years and truly liked my one and only nail person, Ten, who was the only reason why I came here. I am talking in the past tense because today, I have officially fired this place and will never go back there. Now I understand why this place has two stars on Yelp. If I could give no stars, I would. If it wasn't for Ten, I can not say anything good about this place. I've always known this place not be up to par but like I said, I only dealt with my nail person so I had no issues. However, I've always had reservations about this place as I observed it whenever I would get my nails done. First issue for today, I had an appointment which started 1.5 hours late. This isn't the first time my appointments are late. Which makes me wonder why it's even worth making an appointment. Not one person apologized or acknowledged that they were late. In fact, they seemed upset because I had shown up and they were too busy. This is when they start talking Vietnamese making you wonder if they're talking about you. Giving them the benefit of the doubt, I ignore it and pretend they aren't talking about anyone. Now here's the real issue...the owner, Hung Nguyen, is rude, unprofessional, and has no people skills. For me, a place that doesn't have good business etiquette should not be in business and certainly does not deserve my or anyone else's business. I was about to have my nails done with the owner because Ten was off on vacation. I told him I wanted a French manicure and he told me it would be $55 which was ok with me but I decided to question why as the cost menu stated $40 (hence, false advertisement). He didn't/couldn't answer my question and told me that he would not do it for $40 and walked away from me to help another customer who had just came through the door. At first I thought he was just going to talk to the other customer but then I noticed that he was setting up to do a pedicure on him. When I questioned him if he was going to do my nails he said no, he refuses to do service for $40. I told him that we were having a discussion about prices and that I was still going to do my nails for $55 and that he was rude to just walk away and not even tell me he was not going to do my nails. He then got upset again and walked to the back of their business to hide, leaving the man at the pedicure station without saying anything to him either. I would have left if I could but I was with another person who was in the middle of a pedicure and had to wait for them. While waiting for them, Hung never came back out. About 40 minutes later the man at the pedicure station walked out because the owner never came back to him. That man was now upset and said he can't believe they just left him there and left. This is poor business practice. Hung left his staff to pick up his mess so he could go have a tantrum. The staff said, "He always does this and gets mad for no reason. Then we have to deal with fixing it." Which proves he doesn't respect his staff either. Other customers in there at the time were in disbelief and stated that is why they do not go to Hung to do their nails. Horrible role model for owning a business. Not sure if he was having a bad day but nonetheless, that's unacceptable as a business owner. He just wasted 3 hours of my valuable time. If you can treat your customers and long time customers like this and not care, it's time to close your doors. My advice for you Hung: take a business class, a crucial conversations class, focus on cleaning your unsanitary salon, learn to smile and greet people, be humble and practice integrity. Treat people like you'd like to be treated. And to make this evitable in the future, fix your prices on your menu and you won't get questioned! Otherwise, you're practicing false advertisement and you have no business being in business. As they say in business, one lost customer is one too many...today you lost 6.

    First time going here. I live literally across the street and needed a pedicure soooooo bad. So i went to this place. Not too shabby. I told them what i wanted and the guy went in and did his job. I told him i wanted the side of my nails because it was hurting so bad and he got everything out. It was a sigh of relief. The next day my toe was swollen and hurt to walk BUT it happens ALL THE TIME when i get the nasty ingrown nail removed. Literally last a day and after that it feels fine. My toenails look so cute(in my own opinion) i can't wait to get a manicure now. Oh i also paid $22 for a pedicure. Not bad at all if you ask me.

    THE ONLY NAIL SALON I GO TO. I've been going to NV Nails since I was in high school (6 yrs +). I've tried other salons but I love the staff, the way THEY do nails and the convenience of how close it is to my house. Everyone here is amazing, I don't care what anyone says. I will always go to this salon and only this one. Thank you for your service Nevada Nails. :)

    I have been coming to Nevada Nails for about 4 months now, and each time I am never disappointed! One thing I like is how organized the technicians are and attentive they are. The owner has the best sense of humor and we always chit chat and have a good laugh. Each technician seems to have their own strengths and skill sets and they offer one another tips to assist their client and ensure the client is getting the best service--which is very important. I even bring my two daughters her occassionally for kid pedies. One of the young ladies was so sweet and did these cute Halloween designs for them. I usually am assisted by the 3 men and my go-to would be "Snoopy" hehee hos nickname. Love coming here

    Think bulky and wide. Not happy at all with this work.

Haircuts for my son are usually done at home bc finding a safe space with a professional that understands autism is hard to come by. I believe it's important to expose my son to typical experiences (like getting your hair cut at a salon), so when I came across Chelsea's video on Instagram, I jumped to it quickly. Her salon is clean & simple (not overwhelmed with colors and decor like a kid's salon would be) - which is perfect as my son is easily overwhelmed. She had a cart of sensory toys for my son to play with & allotted for extra time to get him comfortable with her before she started his haircut. She did everything to prevent any autism tantrums or meltdowns my son could have possibly. He did amazing! This was the best my son ever did with getting a haircut! We couldn't be any happier with the outcome. We live on the opposite end on the valley from The Beauty Lab but will be coming back for the amazing service.

I've been a client of lash technician Shea since November 2021. I'd only gotten my lashes done one time prior to Shea, when I was visiting California and it was something I wanted to continue to explore. I'd visited Divine Threading (Aliante location) before to get my eye brows waxed and so I asked about their lash services. The front desk rep suggested that I schedule an appointment with Shea. From my first appointment with Shea I knew that she was THE one. From her relatability, her welcoming demeanor, to her attention to detail and effective commication about business policies, available services and prices, I was sold. I explained to Shea that I wanted the Classic set but wanted them to look extremely natural. We looked through some of her photos of other clients so that I could more accurately provide a tangible example; but what also set Shea apart was her knowledge shared as well. Shea educated me on facial features and how certain looks can be more complimentary to certain facial structures (ie: head size, head shape, eye brow alignment, eye shape, etc). She educated me on how to properly care for my lashes especially as a new client who wasn't familiar with getting this service. I would absolutely recommend Shea if your looking for a lash technician and live in the North Las Vegas area!!! Pros: Shea is professional she is efficient and meticulous she is relatable, warm and welcoming she is an effective communicator she is reliable Cons: The biggest con is the customer service and communication from the business itself I've had the front desk reps call me to confirm appointment times and dates that were wrong I've had experiences where Shea was out of town and I booked with another technician I'd never seen before. I showed up to my appt. and after waiting 15 -20 mins was told there was an error in the company system And they double booked Ky. During this specific incident, the front desk informed Ky of my arrival. apparently she told them that she did not have an appt with me and continued with another client she had taken back after my arrival. Not once did Ky come out and introduce herself, ask who I'd been scheduled with or any Sort of direct acknowledgment While I was present. After expressing my dissatisfaction with my experience and highlighting that I no longer wanted to communicate with the office due to their lack of professionalism, customer service and sheer human respect, I was contacted by Ky directly to apologize for her lack of professionalism. I would absolutely recommend Shea as your lash technician but would suggest that Divine Threading owners work on more effectively: Streamlining their appointment system(s) Front desk staff being more informed on appointment times and dates Taking ownership of miscommunication to show you value your clients and their time Technicians being more customer oriented and friendly to all as you could miss opportunities of new clients based on first impressions.

It wasn't so much the incident itself that frustrated us, but the lack of concern and follow-up care afterward. We had to call multiple times and visit the location several times just to get some guidance on how to care for his skin. When you're performing a procedure as intense as a chemical peel, both the pre-treatment preparation and post-treatment care are critical. There should be proactive follow-up with clients to monitor their healing process and provide clear instructions and support regarding aftercare and recommended products. Unfortunately, we didn't receive that level of care, which was very disappointing.
