I really like Dr Grover and her staff. When I first found her after moving to the Hudson Valley I…read morespecifically opted not to use my dental insurance and instead seek out a dentist who would treat me gently and take care of my teeth in a way that would make me feel comfortable and reassured, even if that meant paying out of pocket. I have always seen dentists and hygienists who made me feel badly about my teeth (they are very small, I have a small mouth, I grind, etc) and who seemed to imply that any dental issues I experience are my fault (grinding is not something a person can voluntarily control, and certainly I couldn't control my genetics). Dentists in the past have grabbed my face and mouth, stretched my lips apart roughly, taken X-rays in a way that cause sores in my mouth from being jabbed by the blocks that are inserted, and done injections of novocaine in a careless and painful manner. NONE OF THIS PAINFUL OR INCONSIDERATE TREATMENT HAPPENED HERE. I am so grateful for this! Dr Grover did fillings for me and fitted me for a night guard, and always followed up to make sure I was doing okay after treatments. After moving to CT several years later I reluctantly found a dentist who accepted my new health insurance and was hit with a bill for an additional $300, despite having only a cleaning done. After this experience I have decided to drive the 2 hours each way to return to Rhinebeck and see Dr Grover because her care is thorough and considerate and her FEES ARE REASONABLE. Thank you Dr Grover for your hard work and integrity!

After having traumatic experiences with dentists in the past, I let a number of years go by before seeing a dentist. His staff was very welcoming, warm and friendly. When I was calling to make my appointments my calls were met by compassionate and friendly receptionists. His dental hygienist Michelle is awesome, thorough, detail oriented and really gets my mouth super clean. Dr Cingel himself is straight up AWESOME! Not only did he help me get my mouth back into shape, he also did an incredible job fixing a cosmetic issue on my front tooth making it look better than it ever looked before. For the first time in years, I smile with my teeth showing. I love Dr Cingel so much, I made it a family affair and he now also treats my son. We think he's the greatest! can't give him a high enough review. Dr Cingel ROCKS!

Dr. Cingel took the time to tell me my options and throughout the procedure my comfort level was important to him. Thank you Dr. Cingel! katherine M

I have United Health Care Medicare Advantage Choice Plan 3 which has sixteen (16) Dental In-Network providers (Ulster County). Before making an appointment I confirmed with my UHC Plan that Oral examinations and Cleanings were covered by them (Ticket #: S507962091) as long as I had any of these two done by an in-network provider. I called the said Dentist Office to make an appointment and informed the clerk/receptionist of the type of insurance coverage I have, etc. She assured me that there would be no problem billing would be done in the proper manner. NOWFOR THE FUN PART: A day or two prior to 12/01/2021 I received an "AMOUNT DUE" of $6.28 - in turn I sent an E-mail dated 11/30/21 4:44pm to the "Hudsonvalleyofc@dentalcarealiance.com stating the above coverage mistake. Not knowing if the E-mail was given to the proper employee, the next day (12/01/21) went in person to the Dentist Office and after a fashion was presented to a Nicole. To make a long story short, Nicole checked with my insurance company, etc. and had to call me back as she was just so busy. During the call back she stated that I had received services from an out of net-of-net work provider and I was being charged according to the Offices Fee Schedule. But, the Office would accept the $6.28 instead of the total of A hundred and some dollars ( this phone conversation I did tape, but failed to let Nicole know she was being taped - legally that is my mistake). 12/04/21 I received an EOB (Explanation of Benefits) from UHC and sure enough the Dentist Office BILLED FOR AN OUT-OF-NETWORK DENTIST. NOW WOULD SOMEONE PLEASE TELL ME WHY I WAS BILLED BY AN OUT-OF-NETWORK PROVIDER WHEN THEY WERE MADE AWARE OF MY INSURANCE COVERAGE AND THERE ARE (or were) SIXTEEN IN-NETWORK PROVIDERS? Today was the follow up appointment for the root canal I had last month…read more I arrived earlier than my appointed time. Last time the GPS sent me to the wrong end of Fox St; and kept rerouting me back to the same spot. Today the GPS did it's job. The front desk staff informed Dr. Blondin that I was here; and almost immediately I was ushered into an exam room. His assistant had me in two bibs to protect my clothes, asked if I wanted music, I thought I was on a cruise ship. Every knob, handle, wire, instrument in the room was covered with plastic. The Zeiss microscope was in its own sealed plastic bag. Dr. Blondin was in shortly. He explained what was going to happen today in his cheerful and reassuring voice. After a local analgesic; the work began. A dental dam was applied, then the drilling began. All the while the doctor was letting me know what was going on during the procedure. A few X-rays latter I was almost done. The X-rays showed the true picture of the bicuspid and the repair done. I'm way past the age of being in awe of anything. This endodontist office leaves me awestruck. Everyone does their job with precision and acumen. If you need a great endodontist - This is the place to go to first. What's that old saying?
