I've used The Dirt Busters twice now for routine cleaning of my 2 bedroom home. The price is a little high ($70/hr., 2 hr. min), but they work from a very extensive checklist which makes for a very thorough cleaning. Just make sure you go over the checklist and let your cleaner know which items you expect to have completed. I assumed they completed the entire checklist every cleaning, but I was wrong. On my second cleaning I came back to a very clean house, but there were some problem areas that I was not satisfied with (dust on the lamps/bases, dust/spots on my stove, etc.). I called my cleaner (Karina) and she was completely professional and offered to come back the next day to clean the areas that I was not satisfied with. She did return the next day and was in and out without any problems (I left very detailed instructions about not letting my dog out and what to clean and she paid attention to what I asked). Overall, The Dirt Busters are very professional and I appreciate their customer service. I also appreciate that they clean on Saturdays. I will continue to use their services and would definitely recommend them to my friends and other Yelpers! read more

I've been meaning to write for some time and I have to shout it out that Mike Salas and Dirt Busters are GREAT!!!!! I would HIGHLY recommend them. I am happy to say that I found them through Yelp and after I called several companies needing somebody quickly, Mike stood out among the whole bunch as being not only extremely accommodating but had THE BEST and most enthusiastic attitude. He sold me from the start. And then he did not disappoint. In fact, he exceeded expectations. They did window washing for me initially but as he came by to give the formal estimate, he saw me cleaning stove grates, and he started to help and offer great tips and products to use, even told me where to get them. THEN he offers at no charge to take the grates and stove accessories home with him to do them personally and return them thereafter. When I offered a nice tip for the work, he told me to just pass it along to the window washing crew. Haven't had that kind of experience ever. And such a nice person. You can tell he loves what he does. While he was there, he also showed me the kinds of things his cleaning crew looks for when doing a clean-out for a rental. It was not long before I used him 2 more times for such purposes. Along with another window cleaning job. Again, they were great. I should dig up the before and after photos, but one tenant left a travertine shower SO molded and horrible, I thought I would have to redo the whole thing. He followed up the crew's work by returning all the way to Playa Vista from Orange County the very next day and made it shine. It looks like new. No one could believe it. Having Mike as a resource is such a support. I never felt like I could trust cleaning crews to get as detailed as I am and thus have always ended up doing most of the detail work myself. Mike and his team are the best I have experienced and I plan to continue to call on Mike and refer others to him. One more noteworthy item: When I was in need, I was also able to call on Mike for resources, from a handyman to a construction renovation company, for both the orange county as well as Los Angeles area. I used one and met with another, both keepers, very professional. Again, he goes above and beyond to help and connect others up for their mutual benefit. Way to go, Mike! I have used The Dirt Busters twice and so far it has been very easy and predictable. Before each appointment, either Mike or another associate will call a few days before to remind and re-confirm the appointment. This has been helpful as my home has undergone a bathroom remodel. I am the only human female in my house full of males (I've got a sweeeeet female Lab. I love her despite her unfortunate shedding problem). When a house full of males amps up the stink/ick/dirt factor, it's time to call out the big guns. For a few years, I've scoured yelp and tried out highly rated cleaning companies, one at a time. Tedious and exasperating. I have had so many companies come out, and not because I am a compulsive, OCD, neat freak. I just never felt that I received the right service for what I paid. Next up on my list was Dirt Busters. The phone booking process was simple and I added a carpet cleaning to my request for house cleaners. The team of 2 ladies showed up on time and set out cleaning. Admittedly, my house needed a deep cleaning. They really took their time and scrubbed the h-e-double hockey sticks out of my bathroom and my boys' bathroom. The chemical odor was super strong, which was not great, but I felt that they did an extreme clean there as opposed to a surface clean. The time frame I booked was exceeded (which I agreed to) due to the size of my home and how much needed to be cleaned. I was a little thrown off that my major pet peeve (dirty/dusty travertine floors) was not fully addressed, just a brief sweep and quick mop. The ladies were simply out of time and I did not want to push into the 5th hour. Overall, I was very pleased and felt that their effort level met the cost. The carpet cleaning was pretty much phenomenal. I usually use another top rated carpet guy in Costa Mesa, but figured I'd kill 2 birds with 1 stone. The guys were quick, thorough, and I was really impressed with how great my carpet looked (remember, I have 4 males and a Lab in my house). It looked like a million bucks!!! They won't be the cheapest service, but I will definitely use Dirt Busters again. I felt that I received the service I expected from paying a bit more. read more

Gem of a company. Mike provided A+ customer service. I was in need of several furniture upholstery, mattresses, and rug cleanings. From reaching out thru Yelp, to calling and texting to describe the job, to being patient with me while I got other quotes, to scheduling me in under short notice, to getting the job done on the hottest day of the year... Mike was excellent to work with. Not only did he give me a competitive price over other similar companies, he was super easy to work with and did a fantastic job. His rig (van and equipment) were professional grade and impressive. Mike showed up with one other guy and hussled to get the job done right and efficiently, especially on one of the hottest days of the year (my AC could barely keep up to keep us cool with the door slightly open to allow all the hoses in). They were extra careful with furniture/wall protectors and pads that would protect my walls and floors from the hoses running around the house. Mike is a super chill and down to earth guy. We recently purchased a new home and hired Dirt Busters to clean our floors (carpet & tile) and windows. The previous owners had 3 dogs and a cat, and the house had been vacant for about a year. I had Dirt Busters come out to clean tile & grout in a rental property. They were running a little late between it being an appointment at the end of the day and traffic. They called and checked in to let me know they were running late. They kept me posted on their arrival time and were so great when they got there. Probably no more than a half hour after their original estimated time. Not bad at all. They did a great job and were careful around the wood cabinets and baseboard. Very good experience and prices. I hired the dirt busters to do my AC ducts and entire house after construction cleaning. Mike came out did the quote and he set a high standard for his cleaning service so I had a very high expectation. Fabian and his crew came out did my AC ducts, they took their time and made sure they went through everything, I had about 30 ducts and they did not rush at all even when they didn't finish until almost 10pm. The cleaning team came out few days later, they were on time and get right to work the second they walked in. I am a very picky person when it comes to cleaning and I have to admit they were very through. I ordered the deep cleaning as we were moving in to a new house...the house was empty ..no furniture yet and when the 2 cleaners arrived after I showed them the house they said they might need more than 4 hours to clean it!!!!! The house is 1900 sp. and the cabinets and closets only needed dusting ..I especialy ordered the deep cleaning for the bathrooms which are small. So I was confused that before even starting to clean they assumed they will need more time! Anyways they cleaned the house in 4 houres but the deep cleaning that I paid $280 for ended up being the same cleaning I usualy pay $120 for and for my previous bigger house! I was able to have my moms house cleaned the same day I called. The cleaning crew of Javier and Ivana were awesome; so thorough. This review is very outdated - I used this company in late 2013 for carpet steaming and house cleaning. The carpet cleaning was phenomenal - it looked brand new once he was done, and it was a good price. I will be calling them again when it's time to have the carpet cleaned. The house cleaning wasn't as great. We had two cleaners out for a few hours, and a lot of things were missed during cleaning. I called to let the owner know, and he sent them back out for a couple more hours the following day, but it still wasn't as clean as I expected. I didn't bother to call back since I started thinking maybe I was just being too picky. I don't like that they charge by the hour on the general cleaning instead of giving a flat rate after a consultation. I felt like the two cleaners weren't really putting much effort into the job, and was disappointed when he sent the same two out the following day. With a consultation and quoted rate, at least you know how much you'll pay to get the result you want. read more

We just don't have resources to get the housecleaned regularly but needed a major overhaul for visitors. they got to things I hadn't cleaned probably the entire 15 years we have lived there.
