I frequent the Cosmo when we go to Vegas and was pleasantly surprised to see this new addition to Block 16 Food Hall, which is a must stop for me during every Vegas trip/Cosmo stay, as I love Hattie B's. Because of time, I sadly did not get to go there, but ended up trying Naughty Patty's and was very happy to get my burger fix and fries! Pro Tip-order from the online ordering display/panel/kiosk right outside the store front to avoid the line. While I was a little annoyed it took 10 minutes to get my food, it around noon (I am not sure if this is the norm, BUT they were cooking NON STOP). Now, as far as the food, I was surprised the bun was cold (I would have liked warm buns), but the meat was fresh and tasty (they cook it in front of you), so overall was very happy. The fries are also out of this world; they have some sort of spice blend that is almost like crack! If I could get more, I would! The burger alone is $16, you can make it a combo with fries and a drink for $26 total, but if you want to upgrade the drink to beer or concrete (shake), add a few bucks more. So we got the NP Burger as it comes with dressed fries. Wait wasn't too terrible for a fresh smash burger. This didn't hit the spot. Burger was nothing special... it was fine, but this could've been shake shack or in n out at fractions of the price here. I read that some people didn't have hot fries; ours were hot, but even dressed they were tasteless. I had to add salt to them and I NEVER add salt to fries. I will say that the additional seating they added for NPs was nice so there's that, but my recommendation is that if you're eating at Block 16, you can do better, both in taste and value for the price, at Lardo, Tekka, Hattie B's or Bang Bar. read more

Strong addition to Block 16 Food Court inside Cosmopolitan. Didn't even know this was here! Located across from Lardo as you're heading towards the Chealsea tower, this spot is at the corner complete with bright lights and added seating! The line to order and pick up food went super fast! Seasoned fries were crispy and fluffy inside while the seasoning wasn't overwhelming. The Burger, at first bite was amazing! The staff spent a lot of time loudly complaining about how much they dislike their jobs, which made for an uncomfortable atmosphere and didn't exactly inspire confidence in the food. When I got back to my hotel and opened the burger, it was disappointing. The patty was dry, and the bun had already become soggy from the cheese by the time I went to eat it. On top of that, the condiment station was messy and poorly maintained -- I actually had to open a brand-new bottle of mayonnaise because none of the ones out were usable. I just completed a 3-day stay at the Cosmo. This is the first place we ate when we got there. I was amazed. Delicious smashburger and hot fries done to perfection. Very tasty, with a happy, friendly, informative woman manning the counter. A great experience. We ate there again on our last night, Friday. The woman behind the counter was not very friendly. The burger was soggy and not very smashed, And I inexplicably got chili cheese fries when I didn't ask for them. The fries were okay, but they were pretty underdone. Wow, prices were super steep here for the crappy food that was served. 2 meals with drink and tip cost $72 bucks!!! Decided to give the Smashburger restaurant a try because Smashburger's are one of my favorite meals. I've had a lot of them and I do make a ton myself. The ordering process was quite simple. Decided to go with their classic Smashburger and a side of fries. The Smashburger was smashed very well had very good crisp on it. The only thing that tasted a little off was the sauce that they use. It tasted like it had some form of sesame in it, and it did not appear well with the burger their fries on the other hand were very fresh and good, not oily and very crispy. I like the peppery taste that the meat had and the fries were seasoned with some kind of herb, they were good. Although the food was good, it wasnt necessarily worth the price. I hate saying that cause everything in Vegas seems to be over priced. So maybe its just location (inside Cosmopolitan) and other restaurant prices nearby to feel like they have to keep up.
