So, this place is at a dog park, so be prepared to be violated by an unleashed dog sniffing your... The chili dogs were just okay. The dogs themselves were just warm & not grilled or fried. The chili kind of tasted like it came from a can. The buns - not great & kind of stale. I expect there's a restroom somewhere on the patio, but there's not one inside - not that there's room. Inside is really small. Ordering is done on the patio & there's not a lot of room. I did not see iced tea on their menu, but they do have it. We also got wings. Oops! Posted on the wrong page. Not going to lie...the name of this place, within The Shacks just does not stick with me. Before it got too hot this summer, we came here with our newborn to get out of the house. It's a perfect little spot with outdoor seating and a dog park below. It is mostly self serve at a window. In the summer we had to avoid going here because I don't think they really seat people inside and it was just too hot. It will be interesting to see what they do in winter. We get the chili dog every time. LOVE IT. I would say they could do some work on the sides. The sweet potato fries have sugar on them I think. I don't know why so many restaurants feel they need to do this...I hate it. Their side salad is really sad so def skip that. read more

Burger was good. Had a double smash burger. Single would have been fine . Came with your choice of sweet potato fries or regular fries. There were lots of those. the bun was nice. I got their sauce on the side. Wasn't sure if I would like it on my burger. It tasted good with the fries. So the inside is really small and not very comfortable. Most people sit outside and we tried, but there were too many flies. Plus, it was kind of hot. The only negative comment I have is the female woman who took our order. We'd obviously not been there before she was not friendly in the least never smiled once and never said thank you. I actually think it was the owner. Looks like her picture in other comments. The beers were priced on the sign at 4. 50 and 5. 50. We were charged six dollars each for our three Modelo beers.. the restroom is down the way. I really needed to wash my hands. We had been shopping and there was no soap and they had a hand sanitizer and it was empty. That had nothing to do with the restaurant though. I think the little shopping center is cute. My ultimate favorite burger is the pulled pork burger which is their burger with pulled pork, bacon, homemade slaw, and cheese on top. So meaty and filling and always hits the spot! If I'm in the mood for a sandwich, the flaming bird is my go-to. This is their blackened chicken breast sandwich which comes with ghost pepper cheese, avocado, lettuce, tomato, onion, and topped with their chipotle mayo. So good! If you're feeling thirsty, you definitely need to try their peach bellini, which is their frozen drink. Super refreshing and not super sugary and sweet! It was a very weird set up and the restaurant is in an interesting place. They have a back patio that sits above a dog park and the dogs are allowed on the patio. (I didn't know this before going) I'm afraid of dogs however, everyone's dog seemed to be well trained so it did not bother me. So was on this side of town and wanted to get a quick lunch. While looking online this place popped up and decided to check it out because I love good burgers. This place is in The Shakes which is about 5 restaurants in a row that all share smaller indoor but a large outside eating area and dog park. Yes a dark park in the back. But this is about DBB so let's get back on track. As I stated the inside is pretty small for restaurant standard with about 6 tables are so (didn't get a good count) but don't let that stop you because there is tons of space outside on the patio. They have a great drink selection with weekly specials. The food is typical Americano. Burgers, wings, fries, etc. I got the DBB Burger with fries. It came with a special sauce on the side. It's like mayo, ketchup, horseradish, pepper, and some other stuff. It's okay but I'm not a fan of horseradish so probably wouldn't get it again. (Note: they also have other options you can get instead of ketchup for dipping that sounded pretty amazing. Just didn't get it not this trip.) The burger was cooked well to a well done. You didn't get to pick your burger temp so you get how they serve it but was still pretty enjoyable. Great fries as we'll. I forget the term for how they cut them (kind of like wedges but smaller and curly) but you can see it in the pics attached. However I highly recommend going there. The staff was amazing, food was great, and the outside area was amazing especially if you have dogs. So get Fluffy and hop in your car and check our DBB. read more

DBB is one of the restaurants at The Shacks (Austin Ranch Area). You can bring your dog to the dog park and tire them out and then go eat. The dog park isn't really lighted so if you go late just know it will be dark in the dog run. You can order through the window outside if you do bring your dog and eat on the deck or eat inside and order from the counter if you are petless. I ordered the burger special which was the DBB Patty Melt. I upgraded from American to Cheddar cheese. It has grilled onions and thousand island dressing. It was fantastic!! The loaded fries were fantastic as well. You really cant go wrong with anything that has bacon! The spiral fries are very good plain as well. The hot dog is a Super value for price. You can pick your toppings. There is a full bar to get your drink on! They are open until 2AM on the weekends. So bring you dog and enjoy eating outside. Worth a visit!! read more

I really enjoyed the outdoor atmosphere here. A coworker and I wanted something new so we decided to try this place. We absolutely loved sitting outside and watching the dogs and children play. We ordered at the outdoor window and got a burger with fries and a quesadilla. My friend said the chicken and cheese were delicious. My burger was cooked perfectly and tasted so good. My partner and I visited on a Saturday afternoon. It did take awhile to get our order but it was a busy Saturday. I ordered a single patty cheeseburger with fries, and my partner order a double patty cheeseburger with fries. Fair warning, these burgers are HUGE. You definitely do not need two patties! The patty could have used more seasoning, but overall it was pretty good. The fries are not your usual fries. They are twisted medallion shaped and more potato filled. They are decent but I wish they had other options. They are a little pricey and I think you could get a better deal elsewhere when it comes to the flavor. However, the portions are huge which is always nice. The best part is the dog park they have in the back. It's nice to see all of the animals running around and enjoying the space.
