As we walked in we were greeted by the hostess Ms. Laura, she made us feel welcomed and very polite and lead us to a booth. This place was very neat, clean and well organized. The atmosphere of a sports bar, and since it was the lunch hour this place was busy. The noise level was tolerable easy to hold a conversation. Our waiter arrived and he was a very nice young man Mr. Ahabas, who was polite, very welcoming, friendly and very efficient. He took our order brought my daughter unsweeten tea, dr. pepper. As we waited, for our order the Service Manager Ms. Jeri, who was very friendly and asked how we were doing. She was very polite, and sweet smile and ensuring we were enjoying ourselves. We also, had ordered the big o rings (onion rings), half order appetizer $6.99, and they were very tasty, well seasoned and piping hot. We placed our orders my daughter got the wild shroomin burger, with fries, $13.99. The fries were hot, well seasoned and very tasty and so was burger. I had the classic double cheeseburger with tater tots, $16.99, The tots were hot well seasoned and tasty as was the burger it was very delicious Mr. Ahbas, was very friendly. We went on Saturday early because we were at the car show. We always eat there since it's easy and accessible. I ordered a burger and fries this time. Burger was OK but very little flavor and was cooked well done as I requested. Fries are really good because they are battered. Service was lacking! By the time our waitress returned to check on our drinks, we had almost finished eating. She then took so long to actually bring me the drink. We finished eating paid for the ticket and we're about to walk out the door. She then brought me one to go which I didn't request or want. The fish n chips are HUGE. 2 large cod fillets, light and crispy batter, with the choice of two sides I got the garlic french fries and mac & cheese. This was just your average little burger place but they have a pretty lengthy menu here. I had the Cobb salad and my guy had a burger with some really amazing cheesy tater tots. Their ranch was great but the salad itself was mediocre. The bacon was cut into big chunks as well as the tomatoes, and it could have used more lettuce. I'm also a little surprised they don't have pickled jalapeños, they just have fresh. The kitchen was a bit slow as well. It took about 25 minutes to get our food, but our server was very nice. There are tv's all over this place and it's a very typical food/pub vibe here which is inviting, especially if you want to watch any game. Additionally, the portion size was really good... Great value. Son got a burger and onion rings... The rings were also light and crispy and well seasoned. We stopped here on a whim, after just landing in Dallas. Although the parking lot was packed, our party of 5 was able to be seated right away. Jatziry was our waitress, and she was phenomenal. Patient ans attentive. Thanks, Jatziry!! Our fav appetizer was definitely the onion rings!! Best I've ever had, no exaggeration. The batter was crispy, but soft at the same time. We decided to try Bubba's 33 for the first time today. We came because of the pictures and reviews. It was me, my wife, one of my daughters, and my son - four of us total. Since it was a long drive to get there, we ordered a variety of items to get a good feel for the place. We started with the spinach dip and garlic bread, and I have to say - it was incredible. Easily the best spinach dip any of us have ever had. Same for the garlic bread. It's the best. That alone could be a meal. It really set the bar high and had us excited for the rest of the meal. Unfortunately, everything went downhill from there. We ordered the double classic cheeseburger, a classic cheeseburger, two lasagnas, 25 wings, macaroni pasta, onion rings, and tater tots. The onion rings were overly salty, but I figured it was just that item. Then I tried my burger, and it was salty too. My wife and son both agreed - very salty. When the wings came out, they were also salty, and that's when we realized it wasn't just one dish - nearly everything we tried had the same issue. The only items we felt were worth salvaging were the lasagnas and the initial spinach dip. Everything else was so heavy on the salt that it took away from any other flavors. Since it was our first time there, we couldn't help but wonder if maybe it was just an off day or a new cook in the back. It's disappointing, because the online photos had us looking forward to trying the chicken sandwich and pizza on a future visit. But after this experience, I don't think I'll be able to convince the family to give it another shot. On the positive side, I will say our waiter was excellent - super nice, attentive, and friendly. New review! My wife and I went this past weekend and we had Andy as our server and he was hands down great! He got everything we asked for efficiently and made sure whatever we asked for he was happy to get. We customized a few things on our orders without any hesitation he was happy to make the changes. The food was flat out the best we have had there. I don't know what they have changed but the service was excellent, food was better than any prior visit. We left blown away. My wife and I just kept talking about how this was a wonderful visit. We will be coming back regularly. I almost forgot to mention they have a Monte Cristo that is not on the menu. They show some of their dishes on the TV's and we didn't see it until after we ordered. My wife saw the table behind me get one and she said she would have absolutely ordered it she said it looked amazing! We asked Andy and he said the staff haven't been able to try them yet because they are in the testing phase and not enough is available yet. But I will tell you if you miss the ones at that other place that shut down all locations after you grew up on their food, order it and demand they keep it on the menu if you like it! I enjoy stopping here, it's comfortable with a lot going on. Always a friendly greeting, our server Hannah did a great job and was attentive throughout the meal. I had a cheeseburger which may have been one of The best I've had, it was seasoned to perfection. The chicken bacon avocado sandwich was huge and delicious, although the focaccia it came on would be better replaced with a more substantial bun, paired with some seasoned fries was a great choice. My friend had a little pizza coupon for a free pizza so we popped on into BUBBA's I waited for my friend and also waited for water, we did a lot of waiting. I came here with friends for the first time to watch the Mavs playoff game. There were TVs all over, so it was perfect for our group, but the service was terrible. Two of us ordered the bone-in wings, and after waiting 10 minutes, they came back and told us they had just run out, so we switched to boneless, which wasn't an issue but annoying since we waited that long before they let us know. When we finally got our food they brought it in 3 waves which made it awkward for our group of 5 because everything was so spaced out. They also got one of the orders wrong and our waitress barely checked on us so my friend just had to deal with it. None of it made sense because they weren't even busy. Kearstin, our server, was OK, but not as good as in Albuquerque. She did quick refills, but when we got ready to go, it took 3 times to get a pizza box. I'm a big fan of Bubbas. My son and I go here a lot when we're grabbing a dudes dinner. So what's good? There are a lot of options. My favorite is their pizza. I love their meeting meaty and frankly, I think this is one of the best pizzas in town. It is thin, but the crust is flavorful. I even like the pizza bones and use them for dipping with a side of ranch. My son absolutely loves their buffalo chicken sandwich. Which comes with fries that are well seasoned and crispy. When I am trying to eat healthy, I'll order the California chicken dinner which has grilled chicken with a lime cilantro's sauce. That is excellent. It is the lightest dish that they have on their menu and it really is good both my daughter and I order it quite a bit. We've ordered their chicken wings a few times but frankly the plates are big servings so we usually skip an appetizer. I feel like the appetizers are pretty small portion wise so it doesn't hurt skipping them. I feel that the service has always been great. I believe they are owned by the chain Texas Roadhouse which is across the street. So if you like that restaurant in Bubbas is right up your alley, but more of a burger pizza bar joint. read more

Decided on the Fish & Chips: Alaskan Cod fried in Samuel Adam's Boston Lager breading, tarter sauce, side salad and I chose fire fries (instead of regular fries). Fire fries are seasoned fries that are super, super salty! If you aren't hypertensive, go for it.. otherwise, get your extra dose of blood pressure medication handy! Fish was so super oily, it was challenging to stomach it. The only person worthy of service accolades was our server/waiter: Jacob. He was attentive, nice and almost intuitively knew what our table needed at certain moments. I appreciate his top notch service. Jacob is 5 star Yelp worthy. Large, free parking lot and indoor seating only. Not sure why my family had to wait awhile for a table, when the restaurant seemed adequately staffed and not full of customers.
