I stopped in to grab a 4-pack as a thank-you gift after receiving some incredible service at a nearby business, and Dirty Dough turned out to be the perfect stop. From the moment I walked in, the staff made me feel welcome. They happily offered samples, answered my questions, made recommendations, and never made me feel rushed. Customer service like that is becoming harder to find, and they absolutely nailed it. The shop itself is spotless, smells amazing (as you'd expect from a cookie shop ), and has a bright, fun atmosphere. The "It's What's Inside That Counts" theme carries throughout the store and perfectly fits their stuffed-cookie concept. The hardest part was deciding which cookies to take home because everything looked incredible. Thankfully, the samples helped narrow it down... a little. Whether you're treating yourself or picking up a gift for someone else, this place is well worth the stop. This is kind of a hidden little cookie shop in the strip mall at Glendale. They specialized in stuffed cookies (which I head never heard of) which are delicious. I'd hoped to make it to Dirty Dough, a national cookie chain just entering the Central Indiana market, a couple of weeks ago for its grand opening. Unfortunately, life gets in the way sometimes and it was just last evening that I finally got the chance to check it out. The basics: Dirty Dough started in Arizona. It currently has 20+ locations nationwide and is expanding fairly rapidly. In Indiana, this location at Glendale Town Center recently opened. Zionsville, Fishers, and Fort Wayne are soon to be. How does Dirty Dough differ from Crumbl (which also hasn't been in the market that long)? Dirty Dough makes their cookies from the inside out - they all have filling. The cookies are smaller than Crumbl (Thankfully. If size matters, I obviously prefer smaller!). They have a handful of "classic" flavors that are always available along with a couple weekly options. They also carry some bottled drinks, though the selection was pretty minimal. As noted, this location is in Glendale Town Center. It's in the strip center facing Keystone right next to GNC. It's a recently redesigned strip center and it's honestly a pretty good location. I could easily see myself coming here for dinner (options include Culver's, Taco Bell, Chicken Salad Chick, and Jimmy John's within Town Center and several others close by), followed by cookies and a visit to Target. Heck, the Landmark Glendale movie theater is also nearby. The library branch is soon to move out of Glendale Town Center into a free-standing building on East 62nd Street (replacing the old school). First off, Dirty Dough needs to watch the sidewalk signage. I understand the signage is needed, however, keep the sidewalk accessible. Last night, the sidewalk clearly blocked access. I was fortunately able to move it. Secondly, focus on the customers. You were well staffed (four with one leaving) and the initial employee who greeted me was friendly. More of her. However, there were three other employees who seemed to be talking about the cash register. It was bizarre, loud, and honestly kind of rude. It was fine as I entered (no one else was there), but once I got inside FOCUS on the customer. Stop private conversations, stop talking about the cash register, and focus on the customer. The employee helping me actually had to ask the co-worker to ring me up (all three employees chatting were blocking the cash register). An older woman (employee) kept standing in front of the cash register despite the fact that's clearly where I'm supposed to order and pay. It took me a minute to realize she was an employee (she had the shirt on - she was an employee). If you're keeping score - that's one employee trying hard (I wish I'd gotten her name. She deserves kudos). Three employees more concerned with talking and whatever deal it was with the cash register. Was the older woman a manager (didn't act like it)? The helpful employee explained the cookies. The pricing is up front with a single cookie being a little over $4 and four-packs a bit over $14 or so. The cookies are decently sized and solid in terms of filling. To be honest, I contemplated a four-pack but found the side conversations so agitating I ended up with one. I tried the stuffed chocolate chip. It was a good cookie, though definitely sweeter than expected. I enjoyed it and would eat it again. I arrived probably around 5-5:30ish. There's no dine-in option here (there's a bench or two along the strip). Accessible parking is plentiful in this strip center - one word of caution, cars seem to regularly park on the blue-striped spots adjacent to accessible spots (this is illegal if you don't know and blocks wheelchairs). It happens regularly in this town center and Kite Realty does nothing about it. I parked over at Target where it never happens. Curb cuts can be a little steep here, though they do meet ADA. As I noted, signage was an issue and initially blocked the sidewalk. Culver's had a similar rough adjustment here. This is just a different area in terms of employees, though it's possible to get more service-oriented folks. Target generally does well. Chicken Salad Chick is solid. It's called having effective leadership. So, cookies solid and easy to distinguish from the other national option here. This is a good neighborhood for this, though Broad Ripple's Insomnia isn't that far away. Customer service has to improve, though there's promise here with one genuinely impressive employee. Hopefully, I can revisit and possibly move this up a notch in the future. For now, this was a middling experience but it sure is nice to have another cookie option in the area. read more

I stumbled across this spot as I was at Target and thought I'd drop in and see what it's about. First off, there was no welcome upon entering. I was on my phone and they asked if I was there for a DoorDash pick up. I was so confused. I asked if this was an online only place and they were like no. But the young lady that checked me out was very nice. It seems to be ran by young people. Aside from that, I tried the Reese peanut butter cookie. It was about $5 for one cookie. The cookie was a decent size. It taste like a bland cookie topped with some peanut butter sauce and sprinkled with crumbled Reese pieces. My husband and I checked this place out during the Grand Opening. They had a DJ, Boomer the mascot giving autographs, and prizes you could roll dice to win. They were also giving out free cookies to each person that day. We ordered a 4 pack and got 2 free cookies, so we were almost able to try all the flavors they had at the time in one visit. We definitely liked some flavors better than others, but they were all really good! We will definitely be back to try more flavors. The cookies tasted great, although we got two less than what we ordered and the order was incorrect. This was done through DoorDash, of which I have no real complaints because they don't have anything to do with how the order is processed until after it leaves the business. The box was also clearly sealed, so it wasn't tampered with by anyone. When I called the store at 10 PM to have my order fixed, the phone rang once and then a recording came on that said it was closed. According to the posted hours, they should've been open at 10 PM. I don't know, good cookies aren't worth all of that nonsense. read more

My husband and I went here (to the fishers location) on a random Saturday. The staff were really helpful and kind. It was nice ordering from an actual person and not a kiosk. I got the cookies and cream, it was AMAZING! It wasn't too sweet or too salty it was just delicious! My husband got the chocolate chip which was also really good. I had seen dirty dough on Instagram and had been wanting to try it, and when my husband was in the hospital I had left to run to target to get some diapers for our baby while we waited and saw this location right across from there so I decided to give it a try. Upon walking towards the door I wondered if it was even open because it looked kind of dark inside but as I got closer I saw a couple employees so I figured I would try to go in. I don't remember seeing an open sign on the windows, but that would be a good idea if they don't have it already. When I came in there were two employees who were on their cell phones but at least they greeted me. The lady who took my order was nice and explained how normally they have two specialty cookies each month but for this month they had 4. The cookies them self were okay, but I had higher hopes thinking that they would be absolutely delicious. To me they were a little bland despite trying four of the different flavors. I was invited to try out cookies at the new Dirty Dough location in Glendale, so this review includes gifted product. All of their cookies are served warm and they also have items like custom milkshakes with cookies blended in. I tried the Chocolate Chip, Cookies & Cream, Candy Bar and the Brookie. Chocolate Chip was def my fav. I like to keep it simple. They are extremely rich, so I could only get through about a half of my cookie before I was stuffed. Service was extremely kind, albeit a little slow during my visit. I assumed this was due to being such a new location. It was worth the wait though, for sure. read more

It was pretty quiet in there on Wednesday at 8:43 PM. Bright and cheery and all of the employees were very friendly and helpful. I gave a try to the blueberry muffin top in a dirty scoop. I had them separate them out just in case, I didn't like the combination I had chocolate ice cream with caramel drizzle And the cookie is supposed to be in with it but I had it separate. The ice cream was a good chocolate ice cream. It was not homemade, but I think it was quite tasty. The box that they put the cookie in was really nice and had reheating instructions on the top And I tasted the cookies it was soft. It kind of resembles Crumbl cookies, but the cheesecake in the middle of the blueberry was actually really good. It was not overpowering as I was worried it was going to be it was also not overly sweet. They definitely have a couple weekly samples. They change every Friday. I think this is a good addition to the neighborhood and nothings been in there. I don't think since the donut shop was there right before Covid. I could give zero stars if I could! My wife and I ordered (payed) online for pickup and when we arrived the doors were locked with one worker(?) inside, with which seemed to be family members. May I also remind you that we ordered on the dirty dough website. The worker said that she didn't know anything about a website! How do you work somewhere but have no idea how the website works??? I wanted to try this place when it first opened, but the lines were very long when I was there. After a trip to Chicken Salad Chik two of us went down to the store to try a couple of cookies. This was a Wednesday evening at about 6 P.M. At first we thought they were closing because were no customers inside with 3 employees. One young lady explained the cookies to us. We got a chocolate peanut butter brookie and a chocolate chip. The cookies were about half the size of the competition, and not nearly as good. The cookies were warm - not like hot from the oven because they aren't. The cookies appear to be baked and then held in warming cabinets. While the competition does the same thing, they are always mixing, baking, and serving, There is a reason that after 2 years in business, they still have long lines. The decor and the arrangement aren't very distinctive. I have two professional comments. 1. I feel bad for the Owner that they chose this location instead of somewhere else with more traffic. There have been two other food establishments here and both failed within a year. 2. It's obvious to the trained eye that the equipment and employee training is not at the professional level for this type of operation. I would caution the franchisee from opening others too quickly. Establish existing locations and processes before you invest more money. read more
