After a really bad experience at another local alignment shop I had trusted for 20 years, I wanted…read moreto share my experience with TRUXX for any Jeep owners in the area. I spent a good amount of money at the other shop having a 3.5" MetalCloak spring lift and Bilstein 5100 shocks installed along with an alignment, only to end up with a severe death wobble the minute I left the shop. I brought the Jeep back and explained the issue. They performed another alignment, charged me again, and then told me they couldn't stop the death wobble and had done all they could do. At that point, I was basically left hanging out to dry. I then contacted Ethan at TRUXX. They looked over my 2023 JT and immediately knew what needed to be addressed. I left the Jeep with them, and they had everything corrected within 24 hours after the parts arrived. The Jeep now drives the way it should -- and then some. If you own a Jeep in Denton County and need suspension, steering, alignment, or death wobble diagnosis, I highly recommend TRUXX. They are extremely knowledgeable, know Jeeps inside and out, and actually take the time to properly diagnose the problem instead of guessing. A+++ experience

This place has gone downhill. We will never use them again…read more Took our 1969 Chevelle in to get the convertible frame replaced in March. They finally said it was ready June 23rd so we picked it up. Got it home & only half went down. Took it back the next day. They said they were waiting on the frame they ORDERED DIRECTLY from Dynacorn. Then they said the new convertible frame had a factory defect. The end bars didn't line up with the cylinders so they used pieces from our old top. Finally had it ready November 9th & we picked it up that day. No one was there when we picked it up that knew anything about it. When my husband asked some questions to the person who took the check he said he didn't know & had never touched it. Got home & it's still cockeyed & won't go down flush like the old one. Just called Dynacorn asking about the factory defect & was told they haven't sold a frame since May & they've never sold any to Robinson Restoration. They just billed the insurance company another $686.45 - 4 days before we picked it up. So a total of $9250.17 for a convertible top that they admit in text that they know we are not happy with but "sign this paper so I can collect more money from your insurance."

They get 1 start because the two times I've called the person on the phone has been very friendly but that is where the good things end. I have been promised that I will be contacted back by someone to discuss work I need done on my classic vehicle, HOWEVER no one ever calls me back. The last time I called I even asked the girl on the phone to promise me she would make sure I was contacted back. They failed again. It is sad how very often I try to give my money to a business or to someone to do their job and they just don't seem to be interested. I guess they have too much money as it is and depositing more in the bank is just too much of a burden for them hahahaha. Robinson Restoration is just another business to add to the list of places that simply doesn't want your business so don't waste your time with them. Instead use your precious time to find someone who will actually work for you and will do a good job. Best of luck with your classic auto repair hunt!

After two hours passed, I was told it wasn't ready and that they needed two more. Two hours later, I called again and was told it would take one more hour. After waiting a total of five hours, I finally picked up my car -- only to find it looked almost exactly the same as when I dropped it off, maybe even a bit worse. There were still fingerprints on the screen, hair in the cup holders, dust on the rear windows, and the engine bay hadn't been touched. I also noticed the engine was warm, and the mileage had gone down by about 10 miles, which is extremely concerning for a detailing service. On top of that, there was a new odd mark on the hood that wasn't there before. When I asked about a discount due to all of this, they declined and still charged me $200. I later followed up with a text and was just left on read, with no explanation or apology. Between the wasted time, questionable handling of my car, lack of professionalism, and poor results, I absolutely would not recommend this place.
