Please be aware of Dustin and Christine. They are not honest nor run a responsible business. Their practices, in my case, was borderline dangerous and put my family in harm. On 4/13 Dustin came to my home to fix the front cv axle, both driver and passenger side. After about 4 hours, I get a text stating he was done and they sent the invoice.. After they left I ask my wife to drive the SUV to see if it had any sounds (as it had a sound coming from the front passenger side). They came back due to my request and mentioned it was a bad breaks job. When I get home I went to test drive the SUV and noticed it had a clicking sound when shifting from park to reverse and drive. The clicking sound was a new sound. After removing the tire and moving with my hand the "new" front passenger cv axle I noticed a rattling sound coming from the cv axle. I sent Christine a text message with a video showing the problem. Later I noticed the boot was installed with a zip tie (now I am suspicious as I paid for new parts - as you can see from a copy of my invoice). At this time I get in contact with a Toyota master mechanic (neighbor) to help me figure out what happened. Conclusion, Dustin, never change the part of the cv axle that goes to the transmission, that is why the bearings where exposed. He left that part installed (old part). Lastly, and the reason why he put my family safety in jeopardy, he removed the c clip that goes into the CV Axle shaft support bearing bracket that goes attached to the cv axle, but never installed back AND he never indented the cv axle nut. From Thursday night to Wednesday midday we tried multiple times to contact them by email, calls, or text messages. Only after I made my review public on Wednesday they responded. I have included pictures to show our communication, the old parts they never changed and the invoice proving I was a customer. Please, please, please, stay away from this people!!! read more

I can't say enough good things about D&D Mobile Mechanics. I was impressed from the moment I texted about pricing and availability. Out of the three mechanics I reached out to, he was the only one that asked what the specific issue was and let me know he could be there in as little as 10-25min. He promptly arrived at my home (after dark) and got to work. I had recently had my throttle body replaced at the Jeep Dealership. He said several of the hoses and clamps were not tightened down. He tightened everything down and car drove great for about 1 week. The same problem occurred and I reached out. He arrived again within about 30 minutes. He replaced the gasket and took out and cleaned several sensors. What really impressed me was his honesty - he explored cost-effective options and didn't try to upsell me on unnecessary services. Where to begin? Well, from first contact D&D was very responsive to my request for information regarding possible service. I was provided a quote for the work (very reasonable BTW), and scheduled my appointment. My Wife also decided to have some work done on her vehicle, so without hesitation D&D added her to the appointment! On the day of service Dustin arrived promptly as scheduled and immediately began working. The appointment ran longer than expected through no fault of Dustin. My Wife and I asked more of him than was originally scheduled, but there were no complaints, only patience, professionalism, and excellent work! Overall, My Wife and I were beyond satisfied with D&D. My husband's car has had AC issues since he purchased it 5 years ago, and last September it started it's downhill descent into quitting all together. And so, here we are, drop kicked into triple digits, and it's unbearable. So last week, we contacted D&D. Dustin and Christine have bent over backwards to help us out. Came out last Sunday (Sunday??? You bet!), checked the car out, and when the part came in, came out FIRST THING this morning and installed it. And it WORKS. This was my second time using D&D Mobile Mechanics. The first was in McKinney and I was so happy to get the same mechanic again because he did a great job the first time too! This was for my 2020 Acura RDX with a strange engine noise. He quickly diagnosed it as the serpentine belt and tensioner, and since the parts were in stock, he was able to pick them up and get my car fixed the same evening! My car is running perfectly now and the noise is completely gone. The convenience of having them come to me made everything so much easier, and the pricing was very fair. He was on time, professional, and very experienced. He even took the time to explain everything to me and show me where the noise was coming from and why it needed replaced. First time was just for some normal maintenance on my brakes and has extremely reasonable prices not just on labor but on parts also!!! A few weeks went by and my car started to over heat, thank god I had found them before this happened. Dustin was great to work with. Tells you exactly what's wrong with your car. He will do a diagnostic for a small fee. You can apply that to your bill if he does the work, or you can do your own thing, no high pressure sales or trying to up-sell. His wife takes care of the scheduling and is always in communication about arrival times and such. Dustin was very accommodating to my schedule. He also went the extra mile and took care of another little problem I was having on my car at no charge. I was able to wait a few days for my car repairs, so Dustin helped me order the parts I needed online. I saved about half the price I would have paid if I had to go to a retail part store. They once again helped me out & the service was excellent, he worked on my son's Honda Accord because the brakes had been making all kinds of weird noises. Dustin was awesome! They stayed in contact with me from the initial inquiry for service. It was a couple of days before the July Fourth weekend, and he made sure that my A/C was working before he left. The first time I took it out, it stopped working again... it was a different problem, and he was almost instantly able to diagnose the problem and get it fixed. Dustin was amazing from the initial communication, to multiple visits, and even follow-up. I had some issues with my car (Honda s2k) overheating where the coolant reservoir bursted and I needed someone to replace it and look for what was causing the overheating issue.
