Their price to maintain the pool is low, then we realize why. They do not do anything as advertised for the pool maintenance package. He comes in and out, dump in the chemicals and off he went. We complained and did not notice any improvements. Debris and filter are filled and dirty... And that is the entire year without swimming in the pool. We are very disappointed with their service. I called for a price on a pool pump install. The business is less than 7 miles from my house. Guy answers the phone & tells me they don't work in my area, then asked me what area I lived in. Then tells me, we don't work in your area but he will give me a number to call. I told him, I don't need a reference. If he doesn't want business, I'll find my own contractor. He then tells me, it's the number for one of his employees. But he won't call his own employee, he wants me to do it. I tell him, I'm good. I'll find someone who wants the work. He says "whatever bro" Then hangs up on me. Terrible customer service. Unprofessional business. I wouldn't call them or use them ever again. read more

So unfortunately I had Discount pool supply as a pool cleaning service for probably a year. Right away I was not impressed as I had problems with them actually vacuuming my pool. There pool guy would show up for 10 minutes, put chemicals in the pool and leave. I started complaint because there would be leaves in it all the time. They then blamed my pool filter for it and charged me to fix it. After that I guess I assumed the issue was resolved and each time I would go check my pool is was clean. Shortly after that I started noticing my pool guy just wasn't showing up. Come to find they were in the middle of changing business owners and my pool guy felt he "didn't have time" to clean my pool and thought he could save time by skipping a week here and there. I had to call once again to complain my pool wasn't getting cleaned. Thinking this company was the least expensive and that at the time I was tight on money I gave them one more chance. Once again a month or so later I see my pool guy show up, sweep the pool for about 5-6 minutes and leave. I go outside to check the pool and sure enough full of leaves. I called the company once again and said he is not vacuuming my pool and his response was " well I have a photo here of your pool and it looks clean, you probably just have a lot of leaves falling in". So instead of attempting to help solve the issue manager turns it around on me and tries to make it my fault as to why my pool is dirty. So I told him I would be looking for a new pool service and the managers response was "sounds like that would be a good idea". No offer for a refund, have someone come back to clean it, or try to help resolve the issue what so ever. They just recently raised their prices about $20 as well and come to find, they aren't the cheapest company being "discount pool supply". I have now found a company that is actually charging me the exact same amount and they clean my filter, sweep and vacuum as they are suppose to and treat my pool every 6 months with algae chemicals for the summer and to winterize it with no extra charge. So if anyone else is feeling like they need to look elsewhere or if you are considering this company I HIGHLY recommend looking somewhere else. Discount pool supply is a waste of time and money, unreliable and does not care at all about how well your pool is getting cleaned. You've been warned. read more

Found on Yelp! I read the reviews and decided they deserved a try. I took in a glass of my spa water which was recently green, and today smelled of chemicals. They tested it, and had a verdict in a minute. They asked what I was using, recommended some chemicals, and gave me a cheat sheet. I talked to him for a minute to discuss ongoing maintenance, and he gave me good pointers and steered me towards chemicals that were much cheaper than the snake oil the spa store is selling. I now have a test kit, chemicals, and a store I feel good about frequenting. And yes, their recommendations were spot-on, and the spa water is now crystal clear and fresh smelling. I needed a pool pump motor. Called around and no one had one in stock. Discount pool said they could get one the next day. Next day I picked up the new motor and it was better than my old one, they had all the gaskets and I rings I needed. Swapped in the new motor and everyone is good. We decided to rent a little house by the bitch for our family summer vacation. The house was big with a full verandah and a pool to the back with a hot tub. The owners assured us that the pool was in good condition and could be used. Upon our arrival we found this not to be true, we immediately contacted the owners who contacted the cleaning company who called us. They told us that they would be sending someone up there shortly to clean the pool and the hot tub. A technician came the next day, inspected the pool and dropped a dissolving salt in the pool, the water cleared. A month later, we experienced the darkening of the water while we were still there. This time we called the cleaning company, the calls rang with no answer and we couldn't leave a voice mail as there was no more space available in the mailbox. We tried for several days and got through just as we were becoming frustrated. The technician said the phones were giving problem and he would send someone out to take a look.
