I need to buy tired for my truck because the ones I had on it were not going to make it to the winter. I went to this discount tire because they were having a "tent sale" minus the tent and when you bought 4 tires you got a 100 rebate. The tires were already lower then when I priced them at sams club so 100 bucks less because for the rebate was just icing on the cake. I told them I wanted semi off-road tires that would be good in the slow and I wanted minimal to no road noise. The man helping me told me which tires would be the best and we went over pricing and brands. We went in on a Saturday so they were pretty busy since it was the weekend and they were having the sale so I just dropped my car off. They even offered to have someone drive me to the grocery store when I told them that was where I would be going while I was waiting. They called before they put the tires on and asked if I wanted white or black letters on the outside and then called me again when the truck was done. The only complaint that I have is that when I got in my truck to leave my tire pressure light was on so I walked back inside and they told me that it was normal and that it would go away. I've never gotten tires put on the truck before so I was unaware of this and I would have been nice if someone had let me know before hand. read more

So far WE have been very happy with them. It has been seven years and our family gets good service, and kind staff. The only thing is sometimes they have a bit of a wait. I think big o is loosing business, as is golden auto, truly I could carel less. They have not ever tried to gouge me. So come here and see for yourself. Made an appointment for 3p to get tires rotated. Friday before Labor Day Weekend, so I decided to go in early and arrived at 215p. He told me that they will get my car in at 3p since they are busy. I did notice my car being moved at 3p, like they promised. It is now 445p still waiting with no updates. So I finally asked for my keys because I had better things to do. Bought a full set of tires and they charged me $67 for for a single TPS sensor which typically run $8-$15. When I inquired about this their response was "We could install it without the sensor if you would like?". I really have received pretty decent service from Discount in the past, but the 600% markup on a part that is typically $10 really rubbed me the wrong way. My check tire light came on, but my tires were purchased through the dealership I bought my car. I drove it to discount tire because it was closer than the dealership. They took out a screw in my tire, didn't charge me, and got me out of there in record time. While I was briefly waiting, I watched and heard them work with other customers for a variety of reasons, and it was some of the best customer service I have been around in a long time. My associate was Joe and I have to say I was impressed greatly by not only the service but the staff actually listened extremely carefully to what I said and worked very quickly and exceeded my expectations. They repaired my tire for free where as in Georgia I would have paid nearly 50$ for the same issue. Took my vehicle in to get the TPMS (tire pressure sensors) re registered, and was told one of the sensors quit working. They quickly gave me a quote of $60 for one of the sensors but I knew they were still in working conditions. I had a bad feeling about it so I took it to a different tire shop and they didn't have a problem whatsoever. Discount Tire just wanted me to waste my money and pay for something that wasn't broken. So be careful when they tell you that they recommend replacement. One other thing too. HAVE THEM SHOW YOU THE TOOL THEY USE TO KNOW WHAT THE TIRE DEPTH IT AT! THEY COULD BE LYING TO YOU JUST SO YOU SPEND MONEY ON NEW TIRES! read more

Refused service due to tires and wheels were not purchased from them and load rating was below what their computer says but double what the factory states per side. The fact of the matter that I have purchased probably $25K worth of wheels and tires from this franchise and being refused service due to tires not being Purchased from this store is absurd. Just lost a life long customer. Factory load rating states 850lb per side and tires were 1600lb per tire. The technicians and the manager of this shop needs training and learn how to think outside the box. Never had this issue with other discount tire store. read more

We bought 4 new tires for our Subaru Outback about a year ago. Over the last couple weeks I noticed one tire was slowly losing pressure and I would have to add air. I figured it was a very slow leak so took the car back to Dicount Tire. As I got out of the car I didn't even get inside before Kevin Elliott came outside to greet me and ask what the problem was. I explained the issue while Kevin recorded the license plate, mileage, etc and then we went inside for just a couple minutes to complete the paperwork. Kevin said they would also check the last time the tires were rotated and do that if it was close to being due so we wouldn't have to make a second trip. We did purchase the certificate for tire repair/replacement when we bought the tires since they were about $180 each - that was only $25. The bottom line was the tire was fixed (small screw in tire which they showed me), and all tires rotated, within about an hour and they called to say the car was done. There was no charge for anything. Kevin was very professional, very pleasant and extremely efficient. The place was very clean, everyone was courteous and quick to take care of customers. I highly recommend this Dicount Tire location - very impressed with their service!! read more

My family has been going to this discount tire for years because, honestly, it was the best tire shop we've found. However, my latest experience was, though not horrible, a little frustrating. I paid $40 to have them swap my winter tires out on my wheels and found out the next day that they didn't rotate the tires correctly after checking the tread. They put the previous two front tires (indicated by the 7 tread versus 10 tread rating) on the left side and the rear tires on the right. It doesn't take that long to check tread depth before installing a tire. I was a little surprised this wasn't done. My pressure sensor light also came on after driving away and when I came back to have them check, they simply reset the pressure sensor on the car without double-checking the tire pressure. The people here are friendly and they've always been great, but this last service was a little under par to what we've been used to. read more

In the past Discount tire was always my go to tire shop and I have purchased several sets of tires from them through out the years. I typically pay extra for the tire certificate. I stopped in for a tire rotation and they said I need to book out reservations for a rotation although they did have time to install new tires. The price of the new set of tires were about $100 less then Costco. That's with the manufacturer "warranty" for early tread wear. Factor in the cost of the worthless tire certificates and now I've paid more for the tires. Discount tire is a great company and I have always been happy with them, the point is DO NOT fall for the salesman selling a worthless tire certificate. it is a commission they earn NO BENEFIT to you. I am disappointed with discount tire since I believed they would stand behind their certificate. Maybe it was just the young kid who was helping me but it was clear they don't need my business anymore. read more

They were great, they met me at my car when I pulled into the parking lot. Sadly my tire needed to be replaced and had to be ordered. They offered to put my spare on for me. Turns out my spare was a 12 year old tire, so they let me know that wasn't safe. I wouldn't have even thought about the fact it was so old and weak. I bought a new spare and am on my way already. This review is a little overdue, but better late than never. This place is so great. I was driving on 470 when my tire pressure light came on and I was so scared I ran over something and was going to get a flat, so I quickly got off and pulled into Southlands. Discount tires had already closed but they had fairly bright lights outside their building that I decided to use to scope out my tires. I was maybe out there for 2 minutes before a gentleman inside closing up the store spotted me. He and another guy came out & opened up the doors and let me back my car in so they could check all the tires pressure and make sure my car was safe to drive. They did not have to do that!!! I was reminded yesterday why we've been customers at this location for more than 10 years. Today they were swamped with everyone getting snow tires on. We had three cars to deal with today and dropped them off in the morning. The parking lot was packed and there were people everywhere. They kept us notified of our status with updates. We returned in the evening, the same crew of guys there, still courteous, but definitely worn out. The managers at the shop are pros and I appreciate that they hire so many young people in our community. read more

I came here for my first time after ordering tires from them online. I needed new tires for my car as the ones I had were very old and had bubbles. When I went in, the staff was incredibly helpful and friendly. They even went out to inspect my old tires, and came back to tell me what was wrong with them and how it usually happens. They checked me in immediately, and made the process to pay incredibly simple. They also brought up that they had a rebate occurring, and how to sign up for it. I didn't know this at all, beforehand, so it was a pleasant surprise. Some places would make you ask for this. They stated it would be an hour, and were done in even less time than that! It was like...30-45 minutes, at most. They also didn't try to upsell at all, which was also very nice of them. They were just happy that I was getting new tires. They also mentioned they had rolled down a window and had trouble getting it up, and went out to help me with it. They also brought up that I should come back after around 6000 miles to get a tire rotation, which happens to be FREE! Not many things in life are free, and tire rotations can be expensive, so it's really great that they offer it! I'm so happy. 10/10 would recommend. read more

Dishonest crooked people working at this location. Brought in a set of custom made Forgestar wheels for them to mount the summer performance tires that came with my 2018 Audi S4 onto the Forgestar wheels, I also bought a set of Michelin Alpine winter tires to put on my stock wheels. For anyone who is familiar with the Forgestar brand (which these so called wheel experts have never heard of) you know that they custom make high end wheels according to your vehicle's specs. I was sitting at the counter where you can see the employees working on your vehicle through the glass window and I was watching them the entire time. The tech who was working on my vehicle had dropped something heavy near my vehicle where the sound was audible through the glass doors. Shortly after, the manager came out and told me there was a problem with one of the wheels. He told me that the powder coat of the wheel chipped when the tech "handled" the wheel and told me that the powder coat on the single wheel wasn't cured correctly and was defective. He was quick to absolve Discount tire from any wrong doing or accident and put the blame solely on the manufacturer of the wheel. I find it hard to believe that the chip was the result of simply moving the wheel around, and I firmly believe that the tech had dropped a wrench or other heavy object on the wheel therefore causing the damage. I asked them if they had surveillance cameras in the work area in which they responded no. They offered no resolution and was in a hurry to get rid of me. This was greatly disappointing because I have had nothing but good experiences at this location until now. I have bought over 6 sets of tires from them (they can verify that through my account history). Had they have been more honest about the situation I would be more understanding and forgiving. Needless to say I will no longer be doing business with them. read more

We have been getting tires here for many years now and have always had great experiences, but today they went above and beyond. I got in my car this morning and my tire was completely flat. I put some air in it but wasn't sure it was going to hold so I called Discount Tire 30 minutes prior to them closing and asked if I could swing by and have them dunk my tire, etc to see if it was still leaking. The guy on the phone was very polite and professional. We came in and were helped immediately. Hunter, took my tire and spent 20 minutes with it figuring out what was wrong with it AND fixing it (did some buffing to the wheel, etc) ALL FOR FREE. I am thoroughly impressed and will be continuing business with this company and location in particular for many years to come. read more

If I could give no stars I would. I called on May 13 at noon and I was told come in at 2pm. I came in at 2:05 pm and all was well. They had me pay upfront and then told me to go drive a round and run errands and they would text me when they were ready. I asked why they took my money and they said so I would not leave or change my mind when the wait would be extensive. I had to argue to get a refund and then I had to ask the salesman to please stop badgering me because I was leaving. I wrote an email to customer service and they keep calling thinking they can buy me back. I'm done with Discount Tire. read more

This last time, an employee destroyed a lug nut while an alignment then gave me a free coupon to brakes plus for a new lug nut. Low and behold my brakes are low and im being pestered about everything wrong with my vehicle.
