They even gave me an about $185 dollar tire for $146 out the door, which means it included all the labor, taxes bc of a price match with the tire they said they could order over the phone when I was at Firestone. If you're seeking a 4-wheel alignment, this location does do them, but not if you have certain sensors (lane correction) on your vehicle. I spoke with them when I purchased the tires on March 11, 2026 and they'd indicated they could but provided no caveat as to which vehicle type(s) they could facilitate. When I arrived first thing this morning, they said they couldn't do a 4-Wheel alignment on my SUV. Also note, they cannot schedule appointments for alignments, as the time involved varies depending on the vehicle. Service/quality were great. I had a nail in my tire which needed to be patched and so I scheduled an appointment for Saturday morning 11:30am. I understand that Saturdays can be busy, but with an appointment I figured I would receive faster service. I arrived at 11:15 and was greeted and my puncture was diagnosed. I got checked in and the worker said it would be 1:15 when I was finished. I understand that I could have gotten a ride from others, but this was not an option for me and so I had to wait. 2 hours is not too bad I thought. The day prior I walked in and was quoted 1 hour by a worker if I had a scheduled appointment. The app showed that my truck would be done at 2:15, an hour longer than what I was quoted and so that pissed made me a bit mad. Anyways, they bring my truck into the bay at 1:40 to start my service and end up being done at 2:10. Much like many others, I do not like my time wasted and so I figured with an appointment I would in and out but this was not the case. This is my spot for tire repair and replacement. They are quick, professional and the place is clean. The one star removal is for two things. First, please be respectful to your employees and put up some type of shade cover over the tire air pressure check because it is hot. Also when I pull up I see employees look at my car but immediately avoid coming over. The other day two cars plus me sat for ten minutes. I know that checking air pressure in 100 degree weather is not a task any employee wants to run over to do but if you offer the service, you should do it. At least acknowledge us with a look or gesture that someone will be with us shortly. It's the ignoring that is irritating. Plus now there is a wall of tires that blocks any employee from seeing us. Even when they make a mistake, they do their best to right the situation. On my previous visit prior to today, I found out the salesperson sold me the wrong tire size from the visit before. My back tires were wider than my fronts. They recommend all tires being the same size, so I had to get 2 more tires to match my originals. I was pretty upset since I had purchased 2 new tires on the last visit (within 6 months). The manager took care of me when we came to a compromise, and told me he'd take care of my wipers on my next visit. The most insane experience ive ever had at any store. I walk in. Was helped immediately. Was told i needed 4 tires. Tires were ordered immediately. Alex said they may be delivered same day or the next day. I go home and AN HOUR LATER. They have the tires. I go in and get the tires put on. That took 15 minutes tops. 1 of the new tires however was defective and they had to order a new one. So they put 3 new tires on. Two days later they have the replacement but i came at an extremely busy time. So busy the line was almost out the door. Alex recognized me at the very end of the line and brought me to the front. When we got the sales young man said we was thirteen cars in front of us. So we waited and counted all the car's ahead of us and we were next in line to change out our flat tire . I arrived at Discount Tire near Parmer for a tire rotation as well as a tire balancing. Everything was great up until not ten minutes after working on my car two employees approach me looking nervous, telling me that one of my lug nuts was damaged beyond repair and that I will need to replace it at an auto repair shop since they can not fix it and then plugged Austin Automotive Specialists because you know they are in cahoots. I checked all of my lug nuts on every tire before I arrived there was no damage. When they handed me the lug nut it was visibly stripped from when they were taking my tire off or attempting to put it back on. Taking a look at my car, I can clearly see the damage because threads are cross threaded on the stud! I am now concerned about all my lugnuts and studs my car is not safe to drive at all so I am going to a dealership with actual certified mechanics to get it fixed tomorrow so my tires don't fly off my car and yes I want that reimbursed and my original service refunded. This was pure negligence it could have happened two ways either the person put the bolt in the air gun and didn't hand thread the lugnut first! Or, they did not center the wheel before using the air gun. I would not pass Inspection because of the mistake made by Discount Tire, I feel unsafe driving my car, my property was damaged. They also informed me that if there was more then one damaged lug nut my car would not be drivable and they would have to tow it. I will have to drop my car off for a whole day to get this fixed and get a Lyft there and back. This is a huge inconvenience loss of time off work and money, safety concerns, property damage. Monday mornings can be, well, Monday mornings! Case in point; I came out to a low tire on my recently purchased Tires from Les Schwab in Washington. Problem is there are no Les Schwab Tire Centers in Texas.....great $2K worth of tires and I can't use my warranty! I found the closet tire center to me and made a B-Line for it. Upon arrival I saw a very busy shop with customers & cars stacked up. I thought it would take several hours to get any service for my tire....effin' perfect! That's when Samuel introduced himself with a big ol' Texas smile and assessed my Monday Morning Tire Blues. We did a walk around my truck and he quickly found the issue; a screw in the tread. I figured since I was there that I'd have them Rotate & Balance my Tires too. Slightly over an hour I had my Tire fixed, Tires Balanced, Rotated & Tire Sensors synced up (which the Tire Tech found an issue and brought it to my attention). All for the cost of FREE!!!! I have a small fleet of vehicles and DT has always been my go to place for tires. I have one of the fleet that I bought new expensive branded tires in July 2015, so nine years ago. My vehicle sits a lot so it only has less than 40K miles on these tires (80K mile warranty) and I rotate often so they look new. Yesterday DT told me they refuse to rotate because tires are date code of 2014. I said so what, I bought them in summer of 2015 so less than 10 years ago. They said they refuse to fix them, work on them, rotate them. DT sucks CS. Sold me old stock tires in 2015. Do not buy old stock tires especially if you do not put a lot of miles on a vehicle as they will age out before 10 years. Now days I price shop DT vs. Walmart, and tires 4 you etc. DT is not my go to tire dealer anymore. read more
