Out of the three flat tires I've had this year - THREE - all on Discount's tires - they've never had the replacement tire in stock. Once they managed to sell me 4 new tires, and now, 2 months later, I have a flat in those. No replacement again today. They also don't currently have any way to check the tire pressure sensors. As a female, its always a little intimidating to go into repair shops because its so easy to get swindled into something you don't want because you know no better Lol so naturally I had put off buying new tires for a bit too long to the point where I had no choice but to but the bullet. So I called them on a morning after a big snowfall and they quoted me a price on some tires. I told them is be there around noon (my lunch hour) to drop my car off. When I got there, I waited in line for maybe 5 minutes but during that time I was acknowledged by almost every salesman in there and told they'd be right with me. That's good customer service to me! When it was my turn the gentleman who helped me (I wish I could remember his name) was very courteous and personable. He told me the tires they quoted me for were no longer in stock and so he upgraded them for me for free. I was called by 3pm to come pick up my car which was impressive because they were extremely busy with the recent snowfall. I gladly bought the certificates on my tires and Ill definitely keep using these guys! read more

I went in the other day with a flat tire that had a nail in it. The guy who changed my tire said that Discount Tire would fix it for free. Everyone was really nice and they took my car back in a timely manner. They said it would take them an hour but I got out in forty minutes. Tire was fixed, they reset my tire pressure computer, and checked all my tires - all for free. Thank you! Awesome service! read more

Needed to replace the OEM tires on my Malibu. I'd been changing to/from winter tires for the last 4 years and was looking for a solid all season. Mike was great and had the Michelin LTX in stock in my size. Had made the appointment last week and was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Very Very good and thoughtful customer service, they do seem very attentive. they were also very busy - probably due to good reputation. the free fix-a-flat took 2 hours, but i planned for a wait and had work/reading with me. So the only thing keeping it from 5 stars are the wait and the hard upselling for new tires, just know what you want and stick to it. read more

I made an appointment online for 12 pm the day before to make sure that my tire repair got done in time. I only had an hour for lunch and decided to do this at that time. Everything was ok, I just dont know what the purpose was of me making an appointment if my car did not got taken in at 12 and I was there 10 minutews before my appointment.? We had taken 3 of our cars here for either new tires or tire repairs & have spent countless hours waiting on our vehicles & repeatedly felt like they treat customers like they are invisible. You can stand right at the counter & be ignored. I was told by two different service people that they would call me when my car was finished & never received a call. They did work on the tires without letting me know what they were doing first or without advance permission. Why can't a business show that they actually care about their customers first. VERY DISAPPOINTED about the way we were treated here & WILL NOT be returning to be treated so poorly! read more

Had a flat tire because of a nail I ran over. Took my car to the dealership I purchased it from and was not only told the tire was not reparable but I needed four new tires. Left the dealership and went to Discount Tire. Within an hour my tire was fixed and I was charged nothing. As a female, I felt well respected and they had my families safety in mind. I will now take as much business as possible to Discount Tire! read more

I requested they keep my car locked when the work was complete, but they didn't. In addition they had parked my car illegally in the Burger King parking lot which is a little less than a quarter mile from their building. I don't know why they need to trespass on private property to conduct their business. read more

My experience at this location didn't start well, but certainly ended on a positive note. After realizing I had a metal shard in one of my tires, I called to get it fixed. Repair was not possible, and furthermore the current make and model of my tire was recently discontinued. Nonetheless, I was promised a matching tire would be shipped overnight from out of state. After following up several times over a 24 hour period I was informed the tire was not available for shipment after all. I missed significant time at work, borrowing a loaner car etc, needless to say I was upset. I was then informed all of my recent newly purchased tires would need to be replaced. After communicating my displeasure with the store Manager, Tyler, he was able to work with me and provided exceptional customer service. I can't thank him enough for going above and beyond by understanding my concerns and giving me a fair shake. I would highly recommend this location. Went in to have tires I bought there rotated on front wheel drive car. Fronts weren't very good and backs OK. Coming into summer so this should be fine. They would not rotate them, said the fronts weren't safe to put on the back. Wish I could post a photo of the tires and you would see they had some life in them. Then he offered to sell me two new tires or give me two of their cheapest tires. But they have always told me in the past it wasn't safe change only two tires. Hmmm. Besides, I have had their cheapest tire and they are terrible. I got a big pitch about safety, how he would be fired if he allowed the rotation, he cared about his customers like family .... what a cheesy sales pitch. I also knew a kid who worked at this location for a while and he said they were very unethical about selling tires to people. This kid was right! Was about to buy the two tires and then he stared to push new back tires on me saying they weren't that safe. I've gone to this location for several years but the last couple of times I've left my scratching my head as they try to sell tires I didn't need. This was the last straw. I have several cars with tires from there and have been a customer for years. This guy's attempt to get commission this time has cost the company a loyal customer who probably would have spent $2k to $3 in the next two years. I just went to another discount tire near by and they were very nice and rotated the tires without saying a word. These are all company stores, not franchises, so the heck with Discount tire anymore if they are going to allow this type of behavior at one of their stores. The people working here were all fantastic. The guy who answered the phone was very helpful, they actually had to order tires from another store for me, and he was able to get me the tires I needed the same day, and for about $100 less than I thought I would be spending for 4 tires and the cost of getting them put on. Once I got there I was greeted by a man I would later find out to be the manager on duty. He was very nice and helpful, even suggesting a good mechanic for some issue I'm having with my Jeep. My experience was very pleasant until another customer came in. She had a nail in her tire that ended up being in a place that would not allow for it to be patched safely, the nail had actually damaged the firewall. The manager explained to her that it would be unsafe (and I'm assuming illegal) to put her tire back on and tried to offer her some alternatives, including putting on her spare for free, getting a tire for a low price, but he was interrupted when this at least 45 year old woman decided to throw a temper tantrum because he wasn't able to magically know exactly how bad the damage was before he removed her tire, saying he should have never taken it off without asking her if he didn't know how bad the damage was (nevermind the fact that the tire must be removed in order for damage to be assessed and to patch it). She spent the next 10 minutes berating him for forcing her to by a tire (he never once said she had to, and at multiple times tried to give other suggestions). I can't remember the last time I felt so ashamed of humanity. Once she finally shut her mouth he was able to offer her a deal that she was happy with, but she continued to be rude even after her big fit. I wanted to yell at and/or hit her, so the fact that the manager was able to keep his cool and remain so incredibly professional was amazing to me. He wasn't rude to her, despite her accusing him of all sorts of things, demanding to speak to a manager multiple times and then yelling "Are you kidding me?" every time he told her he was the manager. The second she left I told him how impressed I was by him, I spent a long time in the retail industry and have a lot of patience, but I would've lost it on that lady. That poor guy was not the one who put a nail in her tire, but despite her huge fit he still had enough integrity to stand up to her and refuse to allow her to be that unsafe, and he refused to say a bad thing about her even after she left and I made it clear how terrible I thought she was. All-around stand up place, next time I need tires again you can be sure this is where I'll be going. read more

All Discount Tire Stores are not equal. My first experience with this location was a bust. My 9 a.m. appointment for a quick tire rotation turned into 9:40 and still no service while I watched walkin's after me queue up before me. I politely asked for my keys and was not asked why I was leaving or if there was a problem -- pretty clear they knew they had lost control of the process. Lastly, several of us waiting were entertained by one of the service desk managers having a phone conversation with a potential applicant that was coming in for an interview today. The call went something like this, "be sure you stop by the drug testing facility before you come in today, dress up, and shave". I kid you not. Is this who you want working on your vehicle (assuming they ever get to it). Try the store in Parker off of Lincoln and Parker Rd. They knock it out of the park every time I have been there. read more

Getting tires shouldn't be this much of a hassle. Who would have thought that it would take two weeks to order snow tires in the middle of February in Colorado? When they finally did get them in I want the new ones on the front (fwd) and move the front to the back. They wouldn't do it even though I mentioned that when I ordered them. I know they don't like to do that but I've never had a problem before. The guy said he could get me a really good deal if I ordered four but he had to order the second two (again) and then quoted me the same price as the two I had already ordered. I mean, don't tell me you can give me a 'really good' deal and then quote me the same price that I have been paying for tires for this car since I've owned it. That's not a really good deal, that's the guy off the street deal. Don't try to BS me. I live on a snow covered hill and have been having problems getting up it, new tires on the back are not going to fix that problem. I really feel like I got jerked around by these guys. I'll just go back to the place I've been using for the last 15 years with no problem even though it's a bit out of the way for me these days. read more
