    Great overall customer service! I recommend anyone that needs tires to come to this location. Friendly people and clean environment. You may have to wait if no appointment but it's worth it! They offer tire checks and free tires repairs. Get the guarantee with your purchase! Another plus!

    Came in with this and out with a new tire in less than 30 min!

Really appreciate this, as I didn't want to have to worry about a tire blowing. My brothers took the BMW defensive driving course, but I didn't, because I got my license at 29. Oh well. Anyway, adjusted rating accordingly. Discount Tire got it done. They really are trustworthy and kind, even though someone in the warehouse fouled up. I brought my ancient Mercedes convertible in for an air check before going to Emissions. This is a summer car, and the furthest I've ever driven it is to Frederick. The tires look brand new, no visible tread wear at all. Rubber seems fine. But Josh checked them and said that since they're 10 years old, bad things could happen. So we ordered new tires and set an appointment for Saturday at 10. I arrived at 10:08, and Daniel checked me in. Then I waited. And waited. And waited. My car stayed where it was. Finally, at around 11:40, Cade comes and tells me that the warehouse sent the wrong tires. What?! And they're just finding out after I sat there for 1.5 hours?! I was very unhappy. I had errands and two more appointments. That's an hour and a half that I will never get back. Why didn't they check for the tires when I came in? And why did I wait an hour and a half when my appointment was at 10 am??? Cade said that this is their busy season. They have three 10 am appointments, three at 10:30, three at 11, etc. He said that he would try and have the tires sent over later that day, and would call me. This did not happen. It's Monday, and I do not think that have time to get tires. They'll have to wait until I return. Cade assured me that I would not have to wait at my next appointment, and my tires will be put on immediately, which is very nice, but I doubt that I can find the time today. I also wonder how he can do that, if they're scheduling three appointments every half hour, and it takes about an hour and a half for each car. (EDIT: it does not take that long to put on the tires. That includes waiting time.) The tires were crazy expensive because of the stupid effing tariffs. That just adds insult to injury. I have always liked Discount Tire, and have never gotten tires anywhere else, but this foul-up is unconscionable. I will say that Cade was very apologetic and is doing his best to make it right. I appreciate that, but I did waste time that I couldn't spare. They really should check for the tires when the customer arrives. Not over an hour later. I will update this review when I finally go back for the tires. They may have to hold them for a while. Saturday was Tire Day, today is other things. I hope that they don't accidentally sell them to someone else. I've already paid for them. I certainly hope that a tire doesn't blow, as Josh said it might. The spare is getting replaced too, as it is over 20 years old. Arrrrrggghhh. They did very nicely say that they would try to find a wheel for the spare, which is a full-size tire. I hope that they can. They found a tire to fit my wheel. That works. So now I have five new tires.

On March 4, 2026, I drove my 2007 RAV4 to Sal's Auto Tech for a simple battery and alternator replacement. My car is my lifeline and income source, and at the time, my temporary home. I called the shop that morning; Audrey was friendly but told me I'd need to bring the car in for an estimate. I arrived around 10 AM, waited an hour in the office, then the mechanic took me to the shop -- my car was already lifted on the hoist. Instead of focusing on my simple request, the mechanic spent hours inspecting tires, brakes, suspension, and the underside, ignoring me repeatedly. I eventually asked about the price for the battery and alternator. The mechanic acted offended, and another employee quoted $1,700. and they installed them, but during the process broke my radiator. Then I was told a piece of my radiator had been broken by their mechanic. They said it could be fixed the next morning. I asked if I could stay in the parking lot safely overnight -- they refused. When I requested my property back, they called the police and had me trespassed. I was humiliated, scared, and forced to drive 7 miles to a Walmart parking lot to sleep safely. The next morning, I towed my car back to the shop ($190). I met with Sal, gave him the broken radiator piece, and he was rude, dismissive, and baffled that their mechanics had broken it. He told me I was trespassed and could not stay near the property. Even after two days, the radiator was still not properly repaired -- just topped off. On March 6, they sent me a handwritten note falsely blaming me for radiator damage. The accusations were completely false and misleading, adding stress on top of an already humiliating situation. I drove 10 miles to Denver, and the temperature gauge went immediately red. I went straight to Jiffy Lube, where within five minutes, they discovered the lower radiator hose had never been connected, spilling coolant everywhere. They fixed it promptly, refilled the radiator, and confirmed my car was safe. During this entire ordeal, I lost income every day, was ignored, dismissed, and gaslit, and experienced fear and humiliation from being trespassed and blamed. The shop clearly took their time because they knew I couldn't confront them on-site, and their attitude made it clear they found my distress amusing. My experience was not just bad service -- it was emotionally traumafinancially damaging, and completely unprofessional. If you rely on your car for work, safety, or even basic transportation, do not go to Sal's Auto Tech. They broke my property, refused to take responsibility, involved the police unnecessarily, and left me stranded. I cannot overstate the stress, fear, and frustration I endured. Honest, competent mechanics at Jiffy Lube resolved the issue in minutes -- something Sal's could have done immediately. Avoid this shop entirely.

The issue lies entirely with the service and the accuracy of the information provided. I was told my brake fluid was low and shown a photo as evidence. When I arrived home and checked my vehicle myself, the brake fluid reservoir was completely full--and the cap had not been put back on at all. This immediately raised serious concerns. The photo they showed me did not match what I observed firsthand. (The photo they claimed was of my vehicle is the one shown in the middle.) Unless brake fluid was removed and then replaced--which would be unacceptable--the image clearly was not of my vehicle. Leaving the brake fluid cap off is not a minor oversight. It is a basic safety issue. When combined with inaccurate documentation and a photo that does not reflect reality, the situation feels extremely untrustworthy. While I was told by the front desk that the technicians are trained, this experience makes that claim difficult to believe. I took before-and-after photos to document the issue. Between the missing cap and the false claim that my brake fluid was low, this felt deceptive and unsafe. I will not be returning. As a woman, I strongly caution others to stay away. This experience felt like an attempt to falsely report an issue in order to take my money.
