I went to Line X Suffolk and talked to Shelly about step rails for my son's truck for Christmas…read more Specifically ones that were polished steel. She said she couldn't get them in PS only in Black. I asked her for the part number and if I could get them from mfg where she didn't have an account and I ordered them and got them in PS could they put them on. She said yes. So I found them and ordered them and I gave them to my son for Xmas and he then scheduled a time to put them with Shelly at line x. Plus she remembered my conversation when i came to the shop and talked to her about this. Well my son took them there and to find out they wouldn't fit. So I returned them UPS and you have to understand this is no small or light weight box. It takes 2 people to lift. My son asked the line x Suffolk which ones should he order the man which is the owner gave him another part number. We ordered and waited for them to come in and scheduled another appointment with line X. Well went to line X and they started drilling on the truck when according to the MFG of the steps by Rhino that these were a direct fit. Also after they only drilled on the one side of the truck and told my son they won't fit they refused to finish or continue with the job. They said they will do no modifications. According to the owner of Line x when we ordered these they were the ones for the truck. Plus if they weren't the right ones WHY DID THEY START DRILLING IN THE TRUCK AND ONLY ONE SIDE if they were sure that they weren't the right ones. Plus he questioned the drilling because of the direct fit from the MFG. My son spent 34,000.00 for this truck 3 months ago and this is what you get. Shelly at Line X after I tried to talk to her on the phone did not want to hear any of this and basically quit talking. I have taken many things to this Line X and many of my friends. BUT THIS IS THE LAST. This is not the last she will hear about this. Holes drilled on one side of truck that they recommended these step rails. Even if they we're wrong ones again you would have thought they would have checked them before installation started. So now NO STEPS INSTALLED AND NEW HOLES ON ONE SIDE OF TRUCK.

I was in need of a check engine code reader. Because I am not able to drive my car, I thought to myself, I should be able to rent one. I did a quick Google search to see if my thoughts were on point... yup! I called the store and inquired and was told the cost is $150. Yes it seems steep, but desperate measures cause for desperate gestures...and I was desperate! I pulled up yesterday about 1pm and the parking lot was empty. I figured I will be in and out. I asked the employee at the desk to rent the machine and he said, we do not rent those. Another employee (while on the phone) evidently was ear husslin - he responded, yes we do! The first employee reached out to someone in the back to gain knowledge and picked up the tool I needed. He began to express how he learned something new today - he wasn't aware of the rental program either. Well at least not with that tool. So yes, the rental is $150 + tax, but you get the money (deposit) back once you return the tool. I am not sure if the deposit is the same for all the tools, but that one in particular... $155. I only needed the tool for that day, but evidently you can keep the tool for as long as you need, but once you return it you get all your money back. I am loving this program! I returned about 3 pm and the parking lot was pretty packed. Luckily I did not have to wait too long to return the tool and get the money back. Again, my experiences (including yesterday) have been stellar. I appreciate this business and the employees. It is a little difficult getting out the parking lot merging into traffic, but just take your time. Check out this location. Have fun ~ be safe ~ enjoy life :)

Another rim repair shop in Chesapeake quoted me $260 to repair the damage, and that was a complete ripoff, especially since a brand new rim would only cost $215. The woman who I dealt with, she quoted me $150 and 3 days to pick it up. That's crazy fast, especially since that other shop said it'll probably take up to 2 weeks to fix. Luckily for me, I wasn't going fast and the damage to the rim was minor and a relatively easy fix. I picked up the fixed rim the following week and it was a job well done! Quick service, excellent quality and attention to detail and a fair price too! Highly recommended!
