Bought some very expensive tires. They installed them and no problems. But I ordered a fifth tire. I asked if they could find a wheel that I would pay for to put the fifth, spare tire on. That was a saturday. They said they would contact me monday after contacting their supplier. I never heard back so I called them wednesday and was told they'd leave a note for Jared to call me. I never heard from him. So a week later, I called on wednesday again, and another note was left for Jared, whom is off on Wednesday's. Still no phone call back now at almost 2 weeks now. read more

This location has better than great service!! I have purchased both sets of tires that I have here. I was extremely satisfied with the visit today. I went in just to have my tire pressure checked because the light was on. It was verrrry busy at about 11:30am. I thought for sure it was going to take awhile just to get something basic done. I visited America's Tire Company yesterday to replace three of my (INCREDIBLY WORN) tires. Things I loved: - I have Misophonia, so it is very difficult for me to sit close to others (I am sound-sensitive). The waiting area is large and the chairs are not super close together, providing a bit of privacy for each customer. - They provide bottled water and coffee (both good quality) - The check-in people are awesome, and the mechanics are awesome as well. Polite and so helpful, genuinely. -They correctly time everything. I was quoted for an hour/hour and a half wait, and it was just about an hour and a half wait. While it was a while to wait, I was prepared for that up front instead of being strung along, and I appreciated that. - The tires were well priced, and my car rides like a dream now. Will definitely come back in the future for more tire purchases. read more

Thank goodness Sears was busy and couldn't take my car in to have the tires rotated ( would of cost me $$)So I drove over to Discount Tier Store, they took me right away. Also they found a nail in one of the tires, and they didn't charge me a cent for the rotation or fixing the nail situation. That star is for attending to me seconds before i get off my car. Yes they beat the price of the competitor but they will suggest that you get something for your vehicle like change wheels or so but it still up to you to decide. So I went there last Friday 10/18/13 to replace my 2 tires for a much better price compared to others. I'm a Les Schwab guy but don't have enough money to get their service so I tried America's tire. So I applied for their financing and was approved and then Jae asked me I also want to change my rims and told me that it will all be $500, the two tires, the 4 rims plus labor which I agreed. I was so happy with the service and of course the money that I have saved. After one hour I got my car back and everything looks great. Last Monday, I noticed that my front tires might need some air so I drove by Les Schwab to put some air on it. As usual, they suggested to check the rest of the tires' air pressure and he was shocked to find out that the rear tires have more or less 60PSI. He said that it should only be 40PSI or less. That's where I become so mad because I trusted American Tire to take care of my car and of course myself. What if something happened to the tires while I am driving with my kids. Who knows what could have happened. I really don't know what to say because everytime I think about it, it just make me so mad. I think next time, I'll just go ahead and have someone check it . I'm gonna go back there to rotate my tires after 1000 miles and I hope they'll do better this time. Customer service is everything and I hope they'll be more careful next time. read more

I'm very pleased with the service and pricing at this location. Same day appointment at the time I wanted with short wait time as promised. My front tires were bald, rear tires still have plenty of tread but had suffered ozone damage (cracking at outer rim) which I was concerned about. Instead of seeing this as an opportunity to upsale, I was advised that they have plenty of life left and perfectly safe for some time to come. I am new to the NW and considered buying tires at Les Schwab originally but read so many negative reviews on up-selling, etc. that I was a bit turned off and waited to buy tires for my car. A trip to Les Schwab for a puncture on a friend's BMW proved me right so I started my internet search and found Discount Tire/America's Tire. I called and they special ordered set of four Bridgestone Pole Position tires for me. Unfortunately they dropped the ball somewhere along the line and it turns out my tires arrived sometime during the previous week but I wasn't notified and ended up rushing to get them put on before a trip. That is the ONLY reason I am not giving them 5-stars. I wouldn't even take a star away for this since everything else was perfection, but I did indicate the need to put them on as soon as possible because of the trip. If you're buying a tire they have in stock (true in most cases) then you shouldn't have any problems. I want to be totally fair and say that the service was exceptional once I arrived, they had the tires installed in 45-mins and were so pleasant to deal with. Brian, who assisted me in the store, was smiling when I arrived which has to be a sign of a nice workplace. You know the feeling you get when you walk into a business where everyone looks miserable, you don't even want to be there? This made me smile right away and set the tone for the visit. These guys are absolute top notch professionals and there was no issues with dirty handprints on the interior or any of the common service issues. The thing is I don't think they are always thinking "I have to smile, be polite to customers"... it seems more like they are determined to just treat people right and it comes naturally. I had always replaced my tires at Les Schwab because they have a location 4 blocks from my house and they had a good reputation. But the last time I was there, I felt I was overcharged and they tried to oversell on other products. I went to Discount Tire at the recommendation of my mechanic, and after seeing so many positive reviews online. My initial contact with DT was over the phone, when I was given three different price options. The middle estimate, which is what I decided on, was 50% less than what I paid for new tires at Les Schwab 9 years ago. The Falken brand tire they recommended is highly rated and is good for 60K miles. I was able to schedule an appointment at DT two days later. I arrived just before noon and was back on the road by 12:30pm, well before their stated timeline of 45 minutes to an hour to install a new set of tires. The employees at DT were very friendly, informed and professional, and my car rides much better with the new tires. I would highly recommend DT to anyone for quality service and product at reasonable prices. read more

Knew what tires I wanted and called ahead - suggested we order on line in advance since they didn't carry the tire in the store. So I ordered my tires on line no money down. I was called to be informed that the tires were in a few days later. When I arrived, the staff showed the tires to me - they were exactly what I wanted/ordered. Fast service - AWESOME price. Tip: If you decline their extended warranty program they sometimes offer at 1/2 off - then it's worth it. Especially if your like me and get frequent flats due to a nail or screw in the tire. As a matter of fact my experience was so awesome here for my Car, that I decided to get tires for my Truck. I should have stopped while I was ahead because the story it long and it really changed my review of this place. After the tires were installed on the car with such ease I ordered them for my truck. Because less than 1 year ago I had replaced the front only tires on my F350 Dually pick up, I asked them if I could order only 4 tires (not 6) and have them take the front tires off and use those on the inside back, putting all 4 of the new tires on the outside. We'll you would think I asked them to do a complicated math problem because after 2 full hours and several guys working on this, they still didn't have the installation right. At one point I drew them a picture and they still didn't understand. Keep in mind they were putting them on the Truck the way they cam off too... it got complicated when we had them change the front to the back inside. See the tires had raised white letters (paid extra for that) from the factory that were supposed to face out on the 4 outside tires and "in" on the back inside tires. At one point the installation process was so bad (i.e. installed the wrong direction several times), the store manager (yes the manager) said he want to "spray paint" the raised white letters so you couldn't see them on the inside back rather than just turning them around. Then their machine that puts the tires on the wheels malfunctioned and they scratched/gouged my one wheel. Being their fault, the manager said they would repair the wheel at no charge but we would have to use the spare and leave the wheel there. But then the spare tire was "expired" - even thought is was never used and they had to take one of the new tires and put it on the spare. Again after 2 hours and about 5 guys working it they finally got it drivable. I did have to go back 2 more times before everything was finally right. Bottom line - really good if you don't need anything special done.... Overall great prices too - best around. BUT service was Meh... read more

When I came here a few months ago I had a flat tire due to a dented rim. My tire kit was out in the back of my Audi wagon along with a old tire. When I picked my car up they said they put everything back in place including my spare tire and tire kit (which includes a jack and a special wrench to remove the lungs on an Audi.) I just got a flat the other day and my lovely tire kit (fits in the back wall of the trunk) is only a tire kit box. I haven't taken my car anywhere else and it is always locked. They also striped two of my lug nuts but reassured me that "it was mostly cosmetic " and not to worry. I was given a referral to a shop two hours from my house and three hours from work to fix the lugs. I called a couple times but the wait was always more than a few hours. I was assured it was nothing to worry about so I gave it little thought and never got the chance to set an entire day away to get it fixed. After getting a flat this weekend another shop is baffled to see two lug nuts missing and hear that I was told it wasn't a big deal. read more

I bought 2 new tires from America's Tire about a month ago. Yesterday I went out to my car to find someone had put 3 big gashes in one of my new tires, and it was flat. I took the tire and my car back to America's Tire, sure I was going to have to buy another new tire, but they replaced my tire for FREE, since I had just bought the tire within the last 30 days. I had not purchased the insurance either! No defect to the tire, the damage was not done while driving, nothing. They had my new tire installed and the spare put back in no time, and were very helpful and friendly. I don't think I'll ever buy tires anywhere else! read more

I recently purchased my second set of tires at Discount Tire. My son's have purchased 3 sets of tires from this business. My experience has been the best tire care experience ever. When I told them that I needed four tires 2 years ago, they ordered them for me but when I arrived to have them installed and explained that another business had insisted that I replace a tire (ordered 4 as I am driving all wheel drive) due to multiple punctures, the technician at DT examined the offending tire and determined that the single penetrating puncture did not warrant replacement at all. I found the honesty and integrity of these folks quite astonishing for a retail business! I have since purchased a set of all season tires for one vehicle and snow tires for my ski vehicle. Prices on wheels, TPMS monitors and tires are competitive with anyone else. Service has been extraordinary with every encounter and every person I have spoken to, on the phone or in person. Tire prices are better than most places, and for simple matters their work is adequate, but for issues that require more time, more thought, and more expertise, pay a little more and go elsewhere. I bought new tires for a different set of wheels and with 4 visits they couldn't eliminate the vibration. A small private shop recommended to me found the problem in 10 minutes and came up with the solution in 10 minutes more. I will never again recommend this Discount Tire store to anyone. read more

Where do I start... I had called on a Monday or Tuesday to make the appt. They knew the tire size and said they'd have them there on my Saturday appt, that it would only take 2-3 days to get them in. I get there, and they had either given away my tires or never got them in, but either way, no phone call to tell me this, to avoid having me drive 40 minutes for no reason, on tires that kept going flat for weeks before I finally was able to make an appointment. So... after getting my truck on the lift, the sale person came out to tell me that they didn't have tires in stock (what???), and asked if they could put on a slightly wider tire on, which I was not happy about due to my fender being pushed in a bit from someone hitting it years ago. But, I had no choice as I desperately needed tires (had to fill tires with air 4 times the last week I had the old ones on), and I had driven successfully to their location 40 minutes from home with no flats. They did the work which took longer than normal, and in the meantime, the sales person told me that the guy I had talked to on the phone (Rex, the manager) had told me to call back later in the week to confirm the tires were there... which he DID NOT say to me!!! It was like they wouldn't apologize for it, but were trying to put the blame on ME for not having my tires and then talking me into a different size. I had also asked them to PLEASE fix the issue of my low tire light always coming on, and when I asked the technician afterwards when he gave me back my keys, he said they were not asked to check that, so my light is STILL going on at random times several times a week on brand new tires. The price I was also quoted was not what they charged me, and after leaving I read my invoice and then had to go back for a cash refund of the overcharge. I am glad they honored that part, but it was honestly the worst tire buying experience I have had in my 44 years and I've bought at least 10 sets of tires in my life. I will never go back to this location and feel they handled the whole thing VERY unprofessionally!!! I would have rather paid more and gotten better service, but this location came highly recommended by a coworker. Never again. read more

I came in wanting new wheels & tires. I knew the exact tires I wanted and had a price point and style in mind for the wheels. Guy at the counter was nice but not much help. I found wheels I wanted on their website on my phone in the lobby. Put a small deposit down and was going to come back the following Week for install. Called on Friday to make sure wheels came in for my Saturday install. Nope not there, not sure when they will be there, and was told I should look on their website for another set of wheels. I felt the customer service was pretty lame and called them back and said I didn't see anything I like and for them to release my deposit. Nope they can't do that unless you come in. So I had to waste more time by going back in there to get my small deposit back. The customer service here used to be really good, maybe they are just too busy to care anymore. I went in and paid 1400 dollars for new custom rims for my 2019 Toyota highlander, I ask if i could come in on November 27th and they said they could go ahead and give me the black Friday 10% discount that starts on the 28th but they would go ahead and give it to me anyways. I also had the rims that were on the Highlander changed over to to snow tires, and were putting the new rims on the everyday use tires that were on the vehicle. I ask about the discount and after approx 30 minutes of them going back and forth with different sales people they finally told me to fill out this slip of paper or go on line to their web sight to get the discount. so i went on line filled out everything i needed to fill out. The next day the main office emailed me telling me that "SORRY but you purchased the tires a day to early!" My boyfriend went in to get the tires on his Jeep rotated. They told him it'd be about two hours. As he's sitting there, he's watching people who came in after him leave (watching their cars get pulled in and finished before his Jeep). SO, he asks them when his car should be ready. They told him it was done and he was ready to go. He told them no - my car hasn't moved, I know you haven't worked on it. They realize they've messed up and then realize that they've also lost his info ticket, which has his keys in it. After about 10 minutes of searching, the keys turn up. No apology. They then tell him that his car is next in line. My boyfriend goes and sits back down - his car is still sitting there as more cars pull in. This is the first awful experience he's had there and we are not impressed. He's been sitting in that waiting room for almost three hours now. DO NOT GO HERE. I totally recommend discount tire in Clackamas! The customer service and selection is excellent. I picked up a set of Michelin Defenders for my 1983 240D - they got me in and out in no time and did a great job mounting up my tires. They answered all my questions and were super friendly + the price was very good. Since then, I picked up a set of alloy wheels and they were more than happy to switch out the tires from the old steel wheels to the new alloy wheels for a very reasonable price. I needed a new set of tires, I exhaustively researched the internet to find the cheapest, but these guys were the cheapest of anything I could find. Their tire knowledge was top notch, there was no sales pressure to upsell me on things I didn't need. I pulled into the parking lot, and Brad (representative) greeted me by name at the door (recognized my vehicle from talking to me on the phone) my truck was completed in 45minutes, and on the way out I asked about centercaps for my wheels - and Brad, said he would do the research on them (since they were discontinued) and see what he could find out. A day later he had researched all the options and offered to have the replacements sent up to my local discount tire store (since I was only visiting in Oregon for the weekend).
