Brought my wifes car for tpms replacements yesterday. During the install one of the techs came out to me and showed me that a lug bolt had snapped off during removal. My first reaction was disappointment that it happened, and later realized that they didn't break it on purpose. I bought my tires from discount tire a little less than two years ago. I brought my truck in to have my tires rotated. And the associate told me it would be a waste of my time to rotate my tires because of uneven wear. I had to tell him four times I needed my tires rotated and he kept refusing.. the fifth time I asked him to rotate my tires. He finally said fine, but it's a waste of time.. then he asked me if I needed new windshield wipers and I told him no I do not. He said well at least you have one good thing on your truck. I had a very poor experience with the customer service here. I pulled up my first time at this place and the parking lot was full so I parked near the garage to try to figure out where I was supposed to go. Before I know it one of the mechanics comes up and starts yelling in my face continuously not allowing me to get a word in and was incredibly disrespectful. There was an overflow lot however no visible sign and first time customer confusion. That horrid interaction set the tone for the rest of the service and I can't see myself ever returning due to the exceedingly disrespectful service members. read more

Incredible customer service! I ordered a set of tires and scheduled their installation through the web site (which was easy to use). The store then contacted me to confirm everything and discuss my purchase. The day of the appointment went very smoothly despite them looking very busy. Everyone was extremely professional. I eventually decided that I didn't like the tires. Exchanging them couldn't have been easier. It only took about a 10 minute call to the store. They never pushed back on exchanging tires I'd already drive on for 2 weeks, discussed options for tires I might like better, and arranged ordering them. Once I got an email confirming shipment date, I was give a link to once again easily schedule installation. The appointment again went perfectly and now I have tires I really like. read more

This review was tough to write because the sales people and products are a 5 *, but my interactions with the "Store. Manager" Scott was beyond awful and the most unprofessional interaction I've ever had. I got 4 new tires on a really busy day. They had me leave my car and they got them on and back to me in a few hours. When I picked the car up the "low air" light was on. I drove it home. The next day prior to work the light was still on so I brought the car back. They stated it maybe the sensor but to get into line to have my tire pressure checked. After waiting about 10 minutes the "store manager" comes out and says the air line is frozen and it could be an additional 15 minutes. I work overnights and had to get to work. I was upset and said why would give my car back to me with the low pressure light on. Scott said that's a Toyota problem not an us problem. I said I wanted a refund and drove away to park. Scott became very enraged and approached me in a very aggressive manner. I had to ask him to step back several times as I was nervous he was going to become physical with me. Scott again indicated that the low pressure light was a Toyota problem and not their problem. Scott had clenched fists and was very upset. He said "if you're so scared to drive I can check your air pressure" I stated I was not scared and that they should have never let me leave with a car that was not properly fixed. The last thing Scott said to me was "you're a b*tch" and walked away. I was also not very professional but then again I wasn't in a roid rage temper tantrum. read more

Was extremely impressed with the service I received. Had winter tires put on my winter designated rims. Had an appointment on Saturday 10/01/2022 @ 8:45am. Was in and out in 20 minutes. Incredible! They have a new routine that makes it more efficient. A woman in waiting room had work done and they told her " all done" and she said I've never had work done here so quickly. We had great service from the Discount Tire Store today! My wife and I needed all 4 tires replaced so we made an appointment at 3:15. It was REALLY busy! I counted 9 people sitting in the lobby, waiting for their cars. And there were another 5 people in line in front of us. Plus, it was cold as hell and snowy outside. There was a small army of dudes working in the garage, changing tires and slogging through melting snow and salt from all the cars. They still managed to move us through the line, they kept our appointment, they were super polite, and they got the job done in less than one hour. We had the perfect amount of time to grab a sandwich and slice of pie from Baker's Square next door. I also happened to notice that they guy helping us at the counter (and also working in back) was the General Manager, Chris. His name and photo are on the wall. Store states they're familiar with Tesla vehicles. However, the location only filled my tires to 35 PSI, which I was told by the staff that is what most sedans tires are filled to. The team is clearly not knowledgeable of my Tesla Model 3, and disregarded the tire pressure manufacturer specification of 45 PSI. read more

Crazy great service at this store, I wish I could give more stars to this crew. Recently had a tire suddenly go flat while driving for work. Made it to a competitors store, but they were too busy to help me quickly. They referred me to Discount Tire, I am so glad they did. I called, they quoted me about $90 for a new tire, and said they could get it done in about an hour. I put on the spare, and drove over there. There was a big line at the register, but they were moving fast. They came out and looked at the tire, said they'd check it out and let me know. Less than an hour ;later, they came out to get me, and said theyd found a screw and a larger bolt stuck in the tire. They repaired the problem, and said I didn't need a new tire, because this one was still in great shape. The best part was when I went to pay, they said no charge, I couldn't believe it. They have a new customer for life. I live about 45 minutes away, but I'll come here from now on for sure for tires! read more

Brought in my truck to have brand new rims put on. I picked up my truck and drove it home. when I got home the cap was missing on one of the tires. I drove right back and let them know. They claim that there wasn't a cap in the brand new box that they came in. They didn't bother calling or even telling me when I picked up the truck. I asked the guy how do I know one of them didn't misplace it or broke it? Why didn't they bother to inform me? He just stated they were too busy. Too busy to give good customer service? Also, the inside of the rim had scratches on it. Brand new truck rims are not cheap! I will never do business with them again because this is the second time something was wrong after I picked up my vehicle. About eight years ago, I had a leaky tire that I wanted fixed. I stopped by Discount Tires and they fixed me right up. I asked how much I owed them, and the tech said, "Nothing. After being told by the dealer during routine maintenance service that one tire on my new all wheel drive vehicle had 4 puncture holes in it that would require replacing two tires for $550, I went to Discount Tire, where the one and only puncture was repaired for free. And interesting that if we had needed new tires, the cost would have been about $400 for all 4 tires! We have always received excellent service from this business and this was just another example. I used to go to these guys for several years. Lately service has changed. There tire prices used to be competitive with those online and would make no sense to purchase your own. Now they're more money and if you bring in your own they want $82 to mount and balance two tires I supply. Kidding me? I owned an auto shop for 17 years and sent them a lot of business. $41 per tire. Do you know how cheap wheel weights are? Seriously this place thinks they're luxury and nothing discount about it. Went down the street to All Season Tire Zoo and had them installed for 50% of their quote. Apparently the counter guys must be getting big commission checks at Discount Tire. read more
