Service is always great. I bought new tires for my car here, reasonably priced. The next day, I drove my car to Phoenix and it was driving like a Jeep, all over the place even though my alignment was fine before the new tires. Took it back to discount the next day. They confirmed the alignment was fine, drove the car and it was still pulling all over the road. Switched the tires and then it was pulling the other way. So then it was determined one of my new tires was a bad tire, which they replaced, no charge for anything. I appreciate Seth, he took the time on a busy day to make sure he pinpointed what was wrong. Could have said he didnt know after the alignment was fine but he did some problem solving and figured it out. Definitely recommend this place. They are always nice and helpful. read more

We are travelers from out of state who had a flat tire on Interstate 17. We drove in 25 miles with the spare tire on at 5:15pm and they close at 6pm. I had called en route and worker David met us in the parking lot and immediately attended to our needs. He was kind, informative and personable. The entire staff at establishment seemed focused and hard working.The vehicle also needed alignment work performed by Gustavo. Somehow both of my vehicles got nails in the tires in the last month. Discount was more than friendly and helpful. They gladly fixed both tires for FREE! And one of them they even installed a new Valve stem! Maybe because they broke the other one, I don't know, but either way, they certainly went above and beyond. ZERO stars! This place takes advantage of women and tries to sell them things that they don't need, just to make an extra buck! I came here to have my tire plugged and instead was lied to. I was told that my tire treading was at a "3" which meant that it wasn't able to be repaired and I would have to buy a new one. I asked the salesperson to check the treading again and he arrogantly responded "the computers don't lie," and didn't. He then tried to sell me 4 tires instead of the 1, but I wasn't prepared for such an investment. When I went to Subaru the next week they checked the tire treading and they were all at a "5!!!!!" I went to MULTIPLE places to have the treading checked after this incident including coming back to this Discount tire and wouldn't you know, the tires were all at a "5!" In fact the tires all lasted 7 months after they told me I had to get new ones! When I spoke to the assistant manager regarding what happened he just made excuses for his salesperson and just denied they don't take advantage of people. It's disgusting that the way this establishment CHOOSES to run and make money is by taking advantage of people they think are vulnerable and not knowledgeable about tires. I have used Discount Tire for my tires since I could drive. They have always had amazing, reliable service and the quality of work has been unmatched. I never have to worry about them trying to upsell me or charge more than it should.. This weekend my husband took me out of town to Sedona for my birthday. First time on an overnight trip since we had our oldest child 10 years ago, and wouldn't you know it? Our car tire decided to pick up a nail friend. Unfortunately we couldn't allow them to stick together even though they had become quite attached to one another.... So sadly we had to take it to a Discount Tire to separate them. This was the closest one to Sedona. They were very understanding, had amazing customer service, and got us in and out before they originally thought they would. Anthony, the store manager, was who helped us and what stuck out to me was how kind he was to the other employees... The fact that he wasn't back in the office but was up front helping customers too. Discount Tire was the place to go for new tires, but part of that was based on the fact that they'd rotate and balance your tires for you. I recently took my car to get the tires checked, and they told me that they were at 2/32" tread depth and needed replaced. They would not rotate or balance even if it was needed. I was skeptical, so I go home and measure the treads at 4/32" and 5/32", meaning I was lied to. My girlfriend went there today -- mind you, I had preemptively measured her tread at 5/32" -- and they gave her the same song and dance. Instead of doing the rotation and balance she needs, they tried talking her into new tires. When she said no and mentioned budgeting for new tires, they tried talking her into financing. Long story short, we will not be giving this location our business going forward. read more

I pulled into town and discovered that two of my tires were fast going flat. I called Discount Tire in the recommendation of a local and called them right away. They were closing in 25 minutes but said if I got there before closing they would take care of me. I made it 10 minutes before closing. They didn't make me feel like a jerk for coming so close to closing, and just like they promised, my flats were fixed and I was on my way in less than 20 minutes. AND IT WAS ALL DONE AT NO CHARGE!!! Was traveling and picked up a nail. Tire was beyond repair. David greeted us about 8:45am Monday morning. He walked out to the car with us and inspected all the tires. We ended up going with 4 new Michelin tires for a very fair cost. I enjoyed watching the crews work on the car and they were done in no time. Brought my car in today for a last-minute tire repair and rotation. I booked an online appointment but came in about 2-hours early after previous appointments finished early. They took me almost straight away and were done in little over an hour. They had a steady stream of customers come in while I waited. The staff looked after everyone efficiently and were very friendly. From what I could tell, most of the customers (myself included) left happy. That is not an easy accomplishment when folks need work done on their car. The flashing light came on in my Hertz rental car indicating low tire pressure for the second time in a week (the first time I had refilled the tires with air). This time I thought there must be a slow leak so I found Discount Tires which was recommended to me by a CVS sales associate. Anthony has been absolutely wonderful in dealing with Hertz for me by negotiating with them and the result is that I am paying nothing and Hertz is covering it all! I didn't have a good experience here, I waited 3 hours to have my brakes done and they ended up giving me an oil change. They realized they hadn't gave me the service I requeste. My car was done in a half hour. I left believing they had serviced my brakes. Come to find my car still had the shaking over 55 mp. So I took my car to another place. Come to find out they only gave me new brake pads and didn't resurface the rotors. They charged me for a resurface but did not preform that service per the second mechanic. If you know brakes you cannot put new pads on rotors that have 115k miles on them that need to be resurfaced. The new place resurfaced my rotors and used the new pads and whala!!!! I had a piece of metal in my tire and they said it couldn't be repaired. I had the road hazard protection through tire rack. And only though my tires were only a year old- they told me that I needed to replace 2 tires so that it wouldn't damage the drive train- understandable but my vehicle is a FWD not AWD. I called my dealership and service guy stated I did not need to do this. And then I ordered my tires on tire rack which Discount owns... the guy from discount put a note in my account that they had advised me to not buy only one tire. I feel this was not his place- I did not buy at the store cause they wanted to charge me almost $300 for one tire. The first thing the guy did when he came out to my car wasn't even looking at my spare tire- he went straight to measuring all my other tires first--- obviously only looking to make a sale.
