I have been to many Discount Tires and this location specifically has seriously set the bar very high. I came in a couple weeks after moving to Denver and Jeremy immediately greeted me at the door. I knew my tires were due for a change after driving 800+ miles. He quickly inspected my tires and explained to me where tread should be at. (Even explained the penny trick with Lincoln's head!) After a couple weeks, my tire pressure light kept going on and off. At first, I knew it was the weather but after going back to Jeremy, it happened again a couple weeks following the second visit. Since Jeremy wasn't there, another gentleman helped me. Wish I remembered his name cause he was awesome. He looked like Super Mario and by his ability to diagnose and explain my car, that's the name I will give him! Turns out, my TPMS sensors have batteries and I need to get them changed and recalibrated. I would highly recommend this location. Even if you have to drive an extra 5-10 miles to get there, its worth it. These guys are thorough! read more

The employees, particularly the store manager, Trent, often go above and beyond to ensure that customers are safe, needs are met, and one has the best tire and/or service for one's preferences. I recently bought a set of Michelin tires that were efficiently and effectively installed by the sales team. I had a flat tire today, which was also promptly repaired and patched by the service team. Other purchases and services have been equally as swift. Lastly, many companies are adversarial and confrontational in terms of tire sales and are only looking to make a sale. This company is not. One can ensure that the members of the Sales and Service teams use his or her expertise and your preferences and driving habits to suggest the best service and /or product. I am leaving this review for two Discount Tire shops; the one on Evans near Holly and the one just east of I-25 on Arapahoe. I took my Subaru into the Evans store to put on my snows (mounted on rims). After I left, the TPMS light came on. I took the car back, and they were unable to fix it with their TPMS scanner. Apparently there have been some problems with Subarus lately. I was upset, and complained on a Discount Tire forum. Within 24 hours, I had gotten a call from a regional Vice President, the manager of the Evans store (Trent), and (after I said I'd like to get it repaired on Arapahoe) the manager of the Arapahoe store (Ed). Today the Arapahoe store was able to fix the issue. (Well, I hope... sometimes TPMS issues take a while to appear). In any case, the way that Discount Tire goes above and beyond in customer service is wonderful. I'll probably never go anywhere else for tires. I would buy stock in this company but it is privately held! If you do plan on using Discount Tire, I highly recommend planning in advance and making an appointment on their web site. With an appointment they try and have you finished within 45 minutes of your appointment time. Otherwise, plan on 1-2 hours during busy times. read more

My tire had been leaking slowly for the last couple of weeks, so I took my car in to get patched up. The team was quick to fix it up! Best part of the story was my battery had died while they were servicing the tire! I don't have roadside assistance so I was banging my head on how to get this figured out since it was the middle of a business day and no friends/family were close enough to help. I was going to Uber home and come back once I could get my arms around this, but my window was down! There was no juice to even roll the window up and leave my vehicle safe. After talking with some techs, the bald gentleman running the front counter came out and found that my battery was covered in salt. He used a wire brush tool to clean it off and pulled his personal vehicle around to jump start my car. It was simple overall, but due to the time taken I am so grateful for the extra assistance the team gave me. It's been a pleasure doing business with this location. read more

I've been the many different discount tires in the past and this one has been by far the greatest location I've visited yet. Came in with a flat tire already removed in the back of my car. I had a slow leak as well on the other tire (same side of the vehicle) both tires were repaired within 1hr. I was even more impressed they put my spare back in the original location along with the vehicles jack/tools. Great experience overall. read more

I told the rep who checked us out three times that I would be coming back after business hours with my spare set of keys to pick up my vehicle since I wouldn't be able to make it back before they closed and needed my car the following day. When I returned to pick up my vehicle, it was inside their garage where I couldn't get to it. Great place! Came in on Saturday morning for a quick look at my rear tire which had a slow leak. They were done in less than an hour and it was complimentary, which I wasn't expecting ! When it comes to dealing with auto-related issues and/or upkeep, such as oil changes, vehicle repairs, tires, etc. being a woman isn't ideal. Typically, in this male-dominated field, women are treated poorly or like we are remedial. I did not have this experience at all, however! I was greeted within 30 seconds. I wish I remembered the guys name who helped me, because he was genuinely kind and helpful. Told me 30-45 minutes and it was completed before the full 45 minutes. I am so impressed with the service I received at this Discount Tires location, specifically with their employee Chase. I punctured a tire with a nail on I-70 and was able to get my spare on. I called discount tires and they told me they would see me right away--no appointment. I arrived and was immediately greeted and attended to in an extremely courteous manner. Chase was empathetic and also explained every step of the repair process (looking for the nail, what would qualify the tire as needing a patch or needing to be replaced etc.) I am a 23-year old girl and was spoken to with respect, not written off and spoken down upon, as has been the case with other brands in the past. They were able to bring my car into a slot within 10 minutes of arriving at the location. Unfortunately, my tire did need to be replaced but I was not even stressed because Chase went over ALL of my options, the difference between the grades in tires, the pricing scale etc. The pricing was extremely reasonable and he also explained the warranty program for the tires. GET THE WARRANTY, it is the best money you will ever spend on your car. Case in point: while their employees were fixing my first tire, they noticed a bubble in one of my other tires. Because I had gotten this tire and purchased the warranty from Discount Tires in the past, they were able to replace it FOR FREE. This saved me over $100. For $12.50 per tire (quote on my specific tires, not all tires), it could not have been a better deal. The employee who noticed the bubble (unfortunately I forget his name) even took me back to the shop to see it as well as explain what the bubble meant and why it was dangerous. This place puts customer safety first. Discount tires time and again has saved me money, and stress. I will never go anywhere else and recommend them to everyone. Keep up the good work!! read more

I used to love Discount Tire. Unfortunately, their customer service has gone down the drain. I ordered a set of tires and was told they would be delivered in 1 week. 2 weeks later - still no tires! I went back to Discount Tire for winter tires last week, cuz I don't want to slide on the snow. Turns out it's a good idea to go earlier in the season when they have more of a selection. Nevertheless, they had something with a comparable performance to my regular tires, so I went for those. Oh, but the price goes up when all is said and done. In addition to the price per tire, and tax, there's also an installation charge and an optional charge for their tire insurance. It was a little shocking how much more the final price was, but let me tell you why it's all worth it: you pay it only once. Today I started my car and pulled out, only to hear that ominous click click click when I turned the wheel. After a few confused starts and stops spent looking for the source of this evil sound, I finally found a big-ass nail stuck in the sidewall of my tire ... on the inside of the wheel well. I was tempted to pull that sucker out then and there, but I imagined how stupid I would feel watching the front of my car slowly sink to the sound of a mad hiss as I quickly lose the ability to drive to Discount Tire. Nope, I just drove with the nail for a mile to their Colorado location. The tire insurance I paid sixty dollars for was money well spent. They just replaced the nailed tire with a new one (to match the three other new ones I had just gotten) and charged me nothing, nada, zip, zero. Then I went on my merry way. read more

Being a girl, you have to be scrupulous when dealing with mechanics/car people. I didn't have to worry about that at Discount. I went in knowing exactly what I wanted. They didn't try to sell me super tires I didn't need or talk me into any additional services. I had made an appointment and was in and out in less than 30 minutes. Also, the guy at the counter was super friendly AND, because he didn't have the tires I had seen online, he bumped me up to the next better set (normally $10 more each) for free! I bought my tires here, and I have been very happy with service over the years. Like most places, there's some upselling that happens (they think your tread is worn and could use replacements, the new tires should be siped etc.), but they also do a lot of free service like tire rotation and leak repairs. And I have found these guys pretty believable--if they are recommending a replacement rather than a repair, they'll show you the tread measurement or the nail in the side wall. There's a nice, spacious waiting area, hardly ever any wait. Added bonus: you can have lunch next door at the Empress or Big Papa's BBQ, and they'll have the inspection or work done by the time you get back. Their selection of new tires is a little sparse, but they can always order what you want and get it to their showroom. And the prices will always beat the dealer's. read more

Went in there to see about patching a tire with a very very small leak. But instead received completely rude service, and a previously functioning tire totally flat by the time I made it the short car ride home. When I went in the tread was fine, it was a fairly new dealer tire that was starting to lose air about every 3-4 weeks. So being new and still working completely fine I thought I would take it in to see if it could get patched. To make it short the manager said he couldn't patch the tire after not really looking at it and that I needed to buy one of their brand new tires. Anyone could tell that he had no intention on ever patching the tire and just wanted to make a larger sale as he was pushing the sale pretty aggressively. Not prepared to spend the morning there I asked him to and to put the tire back on. His attitude completely changed quickly from friendly when he was selling to rude, irritated, and too busy to even give me the time of day. By the time I made it home the tire that was working completely fine was completely flat. You do the math. read more

All I can say about Discount Tires is BRILLIANT! I've used discount for about 10 years now all over Colorado and have literally had ONE bad interaction. Anytime there has ever been a problem they work to resolve it. Discount isn't always perfect, but they are so so so willing to help its unreal. Hands down the best tire guys in town. Quick, efficient and really nice and honest. Took my 2016 Benz in last week as my tire pressure light keeps coming on when it gets below freezing. Spoke to Edwin, who is the manager, he was super nice and said they will take a look at it. 30 min later, the car is ready, the tire issue is resolved and No charge! They fixed it for free! Task Completion. I inquired about buying a full size spare. The man said he check warehouses and get back to me to see about a rim. He never did. I also asked for a tire to be saved for a spare; it wasn't. I told the young installer who told me my truck was ready, he looked at his notes, and said, "Oh. Be right back." Train your staff ... air check techs are clueless ... sorry but you need to tell them they cannot tell someone they don't have a leak by just looking at a tire on a car... they also need to know that when the temperature increases .. and you have filled your tire up with air ... it doesn't drop by 10 psi in 30 min! Went to the one on Colorado and they identified the nail and honored my warranty... professional and quick. Do not go to the Evans east of 25 location or at least be prepared for them not to have a clue. read more

Joe and the team at this location gave me the best service I have experienced in so long. Needing new tires never comes when you have spare cash to drop. After calling seven Discount Tires to find two used tires for my Focus, this location had two in superb shape. When I got there and Joe and I walked out to look at my car he informed me it would be too unsafe to only change two of the tires because my back tires were far worse than I thought. After I panicked about the cost of this and he realized he didn't have two more used tires for me, he set out to find me the best deal. He worked with the very very small budget my dad and I had scraped together, he gave me the two used tires and I paid for two new tires. The kindness and service I received was unprecedented for me at a car shop. Discount has earned a loyal customer. Staff was nice and professional. Came right out to the car when I pulled in. Didn't try to sell me 4 tires, just the 1 that I needed. Tire wasn't in their stock, but they managed to find one for same day installation. Showroom is clean, lots of places to sit and water in the fridge. Now if they only had a bar.....except that wouldn't be right since everyone has to drive out of here, but I'm sure everyone in here needs a drink. read more

I deleted the original review, but the gist was that I was unhappy that the gentlemen called my name and a different model, same make as my car, I confirmed that he was not talking about me, and then waited an extra 30-45 mins before asking the front desk and being told "oops it was done already." Again, the fact that the manager reached out to make things right made this a 1 star review to a 4. Mistakes are made by humans, but customer service can trump error. read more

Extremely impressed! Had two screws in tire, they patched both and the tire is like new. And they don't charge for patching tires!! How crazy is that?!! Back east in Phila. that would never happen. And they are extremely pleasant, professional, exceptional clean store and garage...and right on time with their estimate of wait time. Trent and his crew were awesome!! Of course, I'll be going back when I need to replace my tires.
