I have had the occasion to need Discount Tire 3 times in the last 4 years. Every time I have used them I have noticed these things: the waiting areas are perfectly clean. The staff is very efficient. The staff is extremely cordial. My last visit, today, was above and beyond any expectation or any previous visit. Kevin, is one of the best representatives of his company that I have had the pleasure of dealing with. Courteous, knowledgeable and efficient. I watched and listened during my 45 minute wait. He handled approximately a dozen customers and calls. All were handled the same as I was. While Kevin is a standout; I believe all companies who employ people requiring customer interaction should model their employee training after Discount Tire or at the very least hire people who can perform to the standards that I witnessed today. About as good as it gets for a tire rotation. Made an appointment online a couple days in advance- easy as can be. Even though I couldn't remember where I got my tires, they gave me this rotation for free. Then, when something was loose in the wheel well they fixed that with no questions and no charge. read more

I went back over the weekend and even though they were very busy, Kevin Elliot the manager was able to fix the issue I had in a very professional manner. Stevenson Toyota told me my tires were not repairable, and tried to sell me $800 in tires. Brought tires to Discount Tire on Evans, and they repaired them for free. I had a horrible experience with the service at Stevinson Toyota East. I brought my car in for a 25K mile check and brought my summer tires and asked them to replace my snow tires with them. The summer tires had about 12k miles on them. My service advisor at Stevenson, Sharon Hoppel, called me and told me that 2 of the 4 tires I brought in had nails in them and they couldn't be repaired because the nails were too close to the sidewall. She then tired to sell me 4 new tires and an alignment, for $800+. Luckily I didn't fall for the fraud. I had them package up the tires and leave the snow tires on the vehicle. I brought the tires to Discount Tire and told Matt the issue. The nails were in the middle of the tire, nowhere near the sidewall. Discount Tire fixed both the tires for free. I really appreciate the help of Discount Tire, and will never return to Stevenson Toyota. read more

Nothing but complete incompetence. I came in for a tire patch and air in my tires and the slow gentleman behind the counter told me to park my car and wait. I waited for over an hour before asking him how much longer it would be, and he told me I wasn't in the system because they didn't have my keys, WHICH HE NEVER ASKED ME FOR (also, he had already come out twice to look at other's vehicles, and could have asked me for my keys then). This location wasted over an hour of my day on the back of one of their worker's being lazy (he knew he didn't have my keys, but was a parking space over from me when I rolled down my window and asked, but couldn't be bothered to tell me EITHER 2 times he came out). Terrible location, understaffed, and the staff they do have, are apparently trash. Had me waiting for over an hour knowing he didn't take my keys and my tires are leaking. What an absolute joke this place is. read more

Two hours later they called and said it was a must that i purchase all four tires... tried to charge me nearly $1000.00! The customer service was the absolute worst. These guys are all super nice and trustworthy. Specifically a worker named Trent. My wife went in just for a tire inspection/rotation...during the inspection they found out that we needed new tires because our front two were so badly worn, that it wouldn't be safe to drive on. My wife had only great things to say about how she was treated while she was there. They were patient and super kind to her when she asked questions and when they explained things to her. As a husband, that's a great way to get/keep our business as returning customers! I sincerely believe these guys do honest work and don't try to sell you stuff that you don't need. The guys here are super friendly, one even went out of his way to look for a warranty on my tires. Very informative, gave good education and took the initiative to be proactive in preventing possible future issues. Super experience, was in and out in 20 minutes and ended not being charged since it could be patched (even though I fully expected to and would have been happy to pay for such great service)! This location came to the rescue today!! I went to a different location this morning to get 2 flats fixed, just to get off work to find my rear tire completely flat again...it was a bit frustrating since I took the time off of work to get them "fixed". I brought it in to this location after work and they took in my car immediately and got the flat fixed within minutes! They confirmed that the other location didn't even fix my rear, which is sad. I recently picked up a nail in my tire and woke up to a flat. Against my better judgement, I drove on the flat to a gas station to fill it up (I know, I know, a bad decision). Of course, I ruined my tire. I took my car into another major tire store near my job and was informed it would take 3 days to get my special order tire in. I have top of the line tires, so I was not looking forward to purchasing 2 new ones. I decided to call the store I had originally purchased my tires from, Discount Tire, on Evans and Monoaco. They assured me they would have my tire in by the next morning, less than 24 hours later. When I went in, they already knew why I was there and immediately got my car in. When I went to pay, they informed me I didn't owe anything because it was covered by my road hazard warranty! In the future, all my tire purchases will be at this location, based on the friendly service and the amazing tire warranty.
