I had my car washed at Sam's Club on Butter Ave today. I went through the side with brushes. What a mistake. Not only did it not do a good job, but it left visible scratches in the paint and even left scratches on the rear side panel glass. My car is a fairly new 2025 Ford Bronco that was in excellent shape. I didn't see any of this until I drove home about a half hour from the store. I WOULD NOT RECOMMEND THIS CAR WASH TO ANYONE! This was probably the nicest Sam's Club I've visited and their inventory seemed more diverse than the others. My brother and I were amazed at the wide variety of snacks available. We grabbed a bite at their food court. We got a hot dog, slice of pizza, and pretzel. The pretzels were so good that we went back and bought 2 more! Perhaps we were hungry, but everything tasted really good! My only complaint was all of the tea dispensers were empty. It was around 11:30am, so it should have been filled up. When I asked the ladies in charge of the food court, they just shrugged their shoulders. I don't know if they were lazy, didn't really know, or were just down right rude. First time visiting Sam's Club in the area, I was impressed how clean and organized the aisles and products were displayed. Staff members were really nice and asked a few times if I needed assistance in finding products which was much appreciated. There were so many different items offered for purchase. Of course, probably like so many others have bought more than they needed or convinced yourself that you did need it. But either way everything was reasonably priced so those deals I couldn't pass up. read more

Everything was moldy. I even found mold on my product immediately after purchase, and when I brought it up to the manager she didn't care. I called corporate and they didn't care either. If you find mold just go straight to the health department, they even told us they've gotten probably 10 other complaints about this. read more

Be careful, when you shop at Sam's club. They post the misleading sign. I bought ready to eat salad tray(small one). They post the price for sale for $4.41. Everything was almost gone.But when I paid, they charged me the full price. They told me it was per pound. Not per unit. So nothing was on sale. This review is only for the food court since this is the only thing I use at this location. Well, also the restroom, which by the way is always kinda stinky, but it's all good we are all humans. Every time I see Brian working expo or on the register he is amazing. Very pleasant demeanor and hard worker. Apologetic when things happen like no meat pizza. Helps everyone out with his knowledge and his approachable personality. I come up from Phoenix to Snowbowl a dozen times a year and every time my ritual going home is filling up gas at Sam's and then hitting the food court for the affordable meals. Everything is also really usually really stocked unless it is getting close to the end of the day and they are really busy. Tables are about as clean as you'd expect from a busy location, I know I've seen worse tables at Costco. read more

This was just for our Sam's Club gas station experience. We came here 6 weeks ago during our road trip to fill up our gas tank after consulting GasBuddy and finding out that the gas here is the least expensive in the area. Drove up and there were some pumps not being used. As R filled up the tank, I got one of the squeegees that are near the pumps and cleaned the windshield. I like Sam's Club generally speaking. One thing really irks me though. My wife and l like to go in to the food counter and get the hot dog combo before shopping. Months ago the staff would always have chopped onions for your dog in the frig and all you had to do is ask for them. Now, for the past 6 times every time we ask they say sorry, we don't have them today. My opinion is the staff has changed and the new staff is lazy or they don't care if their customers are happy. We always take our sams and costco cards when we travel. The gas savings alone usually cover the yearly fee. Plus great place to stock up on so essentials. We were going to be traveling around Arizona and California for 2 weeks so got some pop, water and kind bars. Also bought pillows but in all truth those pillows were not comfortable. read more

Everytime I try to return something in the years I have been a member , it has been a problem. I only have returned 3 times total. The last time I didn't have my receipt and the service desk woman had a hard time finding my purchase in their system so finally just gave me store credit on a slip of receipt paper that turned out to be bogus . I was not not able to use the voucher because it's not valid . The service desk could not help me and either could the corporate customer service. As of now i'm waiting for the gift card dept to contact me , we will see but i'm pretty sure i'm screwed . their system says they gave me cash but the e-gift receipt says the amount but not working. It's not a big amount but so far Sams club won't replace it . we will see what the gift card department says but pretty sure I'm just getting passed around from each department. weird ! I have Costco also , it's just a little further and a little more crowded but they have great customer service. If this were to happen there , they would have returned my $ and dealt with their mistake on their own time . read more

Sam's club has been so amazing during the pandemic. They've had just about everything fully stocked (after the TP fiasco last year) with a great selection of anything you can think of. Their curb side pickup has been my favorite feature so far. I order through the app, then when they advise it's ready for pickup I let them know I'm on the way via app. Once there, I tell them the parking space I'm in via app, and they head out. From the time you arrive, to the time you leave with your purchase it's very quick. I think each time I go it's under 5 minutes which is reasonable considering they have a lot of curb side pickup orders. I also love the bakery department. When we ordered a custom cake, they did a great job getting it ready in time and for a great price. I definitely would recommend people to give their curb side pickup a try, especially if you're ins hurry. read more

Flag Sams is the only place in town that keeps their prices consistent with other Sams in other communities. Flagstaff is known for their high priced markets. I really don't need the quantities but after price comparing, I guess I do. That is what a freezer is for. I shopped for laundry detergent, dryer sheets everything was priced the same. The lady in customer service was nice. My church members and I were in town and gathering food for the mission trip. It was the weekend so it was sample day. I went to her station and tired a Mac & cheese sample. I went back to get some for my friends. I guess she thought I was being greedy. Little did she know we were traveling all day and we just wanted something to nibble on. Then she saw me and the others and she kept giving us the side eye & kept staring at us like we were bothering her. I mean that's what the samples are for right to try out for crying out loud. Gas prices are great and the staff is typically friendly and helpful. Definitely get the price benefit of buying in bulk here for certain items. The samples are also great when they're around! The only downside is the food section--pizza isn't great and the tables are always messy with crumbs and have flies flying around. You also must order via machine even if you ask to order with one of at least four humans working behind the counter. read more

This is a huge store. There are palettes of merchandise for acres. I thought we would find bunches of stuff that we would take home, much like we did with Costco in other towns. One thing that caught my attention on one visit was their frozen king crab. Well, we did put a few bags in the trunk of the car, but it was far from full. This is for the Optical Department Called into this business on Tuesday (6/29) to schedule an appointment this week. I was told by the employee who took my call that there was was on a spot open on 6/30, that didn't work for me, I then asked if there is anything on Thursday 7/1. The employee said yes. the times she gave me were 1300,1330,1400,1430,1500 &1530. I choose 1300. I confirm with the employee it was this Thursday she said yes at 1300. Today I get check into my appointment and then i'm told that I don't have an appointment and that my appointment was on 7/8 not 7/1. Horrible customer service. I drove over an 1 hour 1/2 and took the day off for this appointment. I guess if you make an appointment, you as the customer will have to follow up yourself. i guess you get what you pay for. read more

Nice Sam's Club with the best gas price in town. Was impressed with their fresh seafood and meat counter. I haven't seen that anywhere in my travels. We picked up supplies for our RV trip to the Grand Canyon. Also, grabbed lunch in the food court. Liked the order kiosks which also showed what was available. The boys said their pizza is the best they've had from a Sam's Club. The waffle fries and chicken bites are things not on the menu at the location near us in Denver. Only strike on the food court is that the large signs advertised chicken tender with fries, something they no longer stock. Covering up that portion of the sign is an easy fix and would keep from having disappointed customer. read more

Holy God. How do I even begin this? I checked out with my Sam's Club card. I between register and trying to walkout, lose my receipt. I talk to the lady and she is of zero help or assistance. She doesn't even tell me where to find a manager or another relevant worker. We had to hunt down a manager ourselves, were recognized by the cashier and than finally, the manager finally found and printed a receipt in her office, where the employee than let us know their was nothing to scan, but she would use her eyes. Thank god she wasnt blind, otherwise I am posistive you would find me living in the freezer aisle of the Sam's Club. I would actively sell my first born for a costco in this town. read more

Always find what I need here. Some times what I want is out but it happens. On a side note to the people giving one star reviews for the no mask enforcement....you can definitely tell you do not currently work in retail. Corporate tells retail employees to "ask" but not enforce. They're greedy and want their money. Sucks but that's just the way it is- don't take it out on the workers they're literally their doing their job and coming in contact with everyone!
