Declan was the employee who helped me at my visit on 3/13 and made everything so easy!! He was friendly and able to answer all of my questions. As a young lady sometimes it can be hard going to auto stores for any type of maintenance but Discount Tire completely took care of me by repairing my flat for free and also fixing my tire pressure sensor at no cost!! Came in and there was pretty big group of people in the lobby, started to get anxious because I had to be at work in an hour. I'm a young woman and don't know a whole lot about vehicles. We had a nail in our tire and the leak was slow enough we thought it could be patched. Took it in to Firestone in phoenix by my work and was told I had to purchase a new tire, which I have Duelers which are $200 a tire!! Plus labor! Got quoted $240 out the door for 1 tire!! I almost did it just because I didn't know better.. I ended up calling my boyfriend and we decided to take it over to Discount by our home in Goodyeear. I spoke with Greg who got me an appoitment for the very next day in thr morning. He was enthusiastic and very nice! My boyfriend just took our Rav4 in this morning and said they were very helpful and no new tire was needed! You could easily tell it just needed a quick patch and we didn't spend a dime! These guys are fast and very helpful. Never any sales pressure, but they will always tell you what condition your tires are in. The prices are similar to most tire shops, but the service is the difference. Once you become a customer here you'll never go elsewhere. I used to always go here for tires until my mechanic noticed my tires were the incorrect size. Back to Discount I go to correct the problem, and they blamed me. I was told that I must have chosen the smaller tires to save 20 bucks a tire. I ended up having to spend a lot of money on five new tires (my spare is a full size as well) three weeks before Christmas. I wrote the company a letter to tell them how wrong I felt the entire experience was, and I never heard anything back. I will not be going here for future tire needs. read more

My most recent visit reminded me to always go with my instincts They came out and inspected my tires and I was told that I definitely needed two rear tires but that my front tires were still in good shape. Something just didn't feel right to me plus I knew I had seen better prices so I left. With the knowledge that my tires weren't in horrible shape I decided that maybe I just needed an alignment because there was a shake when driving. I went to another tire shop that is open on Sunday. After explaining what was going on they checked my tires and found that 3 of the 4 on the car were separating-the kicker the two front tires were in the worst condition. I was shocked when I felt the inside of the tire because I could feel the separation. Keep in mind that yesterday at discount tire they had me turn the wheel so they could inspect both front tires. WTH? If I would have replaced my two rear tires I could have easily had a blow out on either front tire. I appreciate what discount tire did for my son (in my last review) but my families safety is more important so because of this I will not be returning. read more

If I could give this place 0 stars I would! I went there on a Tuesday and I asked if I could get my tires replaced because my front right and left were nailed. So they told me to come back in the morning and they will set up an appointment for me, no problem. Come back at 8am they patched my left front but told me they had to order another wheel because it was to damage to repair so they ordered a new one everything was good saying that I would get done that day so I thought.. I was going to work, mind you I don't have a vehicle and I live 45 mins away from this place. They called me and told ( we're not going to be able to get your tire into day because the guy that order it, ordered it from Tucson and not phx and there not going to be able to get the until tomorrow and I said okay I'll just get it delivered near where I live. So they put on my spare and when I get in my car they had my jack stand and jack tool were out they didn't put it back,I want my car to come out how it came in. Not professional.. now I'm at school and my grandpa takes my car to another discount tire (it's Thursday) and got the appointment set up and everything so he calls me and asked where is my rim? Basically I called the discount tire in Goodyear and I called 2 times to look for my rim told me they don't have it. I called them the 3rd time they found it? I get that there busy but seriously nobody noticed my rim sitting there for 3 whole days? So I get there to pick up and they gave me a whole new tire. Put it in the bag and put it in my car they said free of charge! We're so sorry what you went through. I took my tire back to the other discount tire and they put on the new tire that I got from good year and it wasn't holding any air? They guy told me that they gave me back my old tire!!!! I wouldn't recommend going to this store! I have been doing busy with Discount Tire for the last few years, so I when I took my new vehicle in on 5 Nov 2014 to get my tires rotated and balanced for the first time. I noticed many scratches on my rims on 6 Nov 2014 in the lug nut holes. I took my car back to the store and spoke to Kevin the manager. I informed of him of what happened, and he said to me "what do you want me to do about it?" He said the scratches were so small and that the only thing he would do is to be more careful the next time I came in. So, needless to say I won't be going back to his shop anymore! I have to say I'm just so surprised at his attitude because after having my wife's, and my previous car serviced there I've never had any problems like this. And was surprised that he was unwilling to fix the problem that they created for me. If you decide to go just beware of what can happen and how you will be treated. read more

My experience here was great & for my first time being at this location today, this is my go to location. I've always went to the Avondale store but after my last experience I will never go there again. This store outperformed them in every way shape or form! I wasn't going to ever return to a discount tire in general but this store changed my mind without question! Made an appointment for 9:30, didn't have to wait even though they were super busy. Chad took good care of me and they treated my Tahoe with care while they repaired my tires. I was in and out of there in less than an hour while they were busy! This store was crazy busy! So much I almost went to help answer phones being that I work in service department at a dealership. Lol, however these guys were polite, professional and got everyone in and out. They were able to locate a screw causing a slow leak in my tire that my shop at work couldn't. I have no complaints about this place. I have purchased tires here with the road hazard insurance. I then traded in my car for a new car. I took the new car to fix a flat and they fixed it for free. Another time, I was at the dealership getting my oil changed and they informed me that I had something in one of my tires and it wasn't repairable. I turn down the offer they made me on one of their tires and went to this Discount Tire store. They found a nail in the tire, but it wasn't penetrating all the way through. Not sure what happened this time but I have been here many times and have bought 5 sets of tires from here. I made a appointment a week in advance for 8:30am tire rotation and balance, arrived 15 min early and yes there were a lot of people in line.while standing in line I asked a tech walking by how long for the rotation and he stated we should have you out before noon WTF 3 1/2 hours after my appointed time!!! I don't and won't wait more then a hour to see my doctor! Made a appointment at the other store they took my car in and out in about a 1/2 hour and yes they were crowded also read more

Changed all my tires on my Merc CLS 550. Great service and got them changed within an hour. They manage to get hold of the Michelin Pilot Super Sport AS3 tires that I wanted. Reasonable price and the staff took time to explain the features and even showed comparisons with other brands without hard selling. Good job! read more
