Extremely disappointed after spending $1,200 on new tires, had a blowout and the only solution provided by the manager was that he would waive the tax/install on a replacement tire. They also recommended new brake pads and rotors, saying they couldn't let the car leave due to safety concerns. did not want to replace my tires with more crappy tires! Quoted $2000 for tires and brakes. I refused service and took the car after they said they could not let it leave due to safety concerns and I'd have to sign a waiver. Pep Boys replaced the tires and said pads only at 60%, so they're fine. Do not go to Goodyear! read more

I stopped here on Monday for a free alignment check...alot of my specs were out not surprisingly b/c I had just installed new front struts...they were a little pricier than the shop I normally go to but I said what the heck I'm already here with my car on the machine so I gave them the go ahead to perform the alignment...so far so good...then about 15 minutes pass & the guy approaches me & apologizes to me because he said my car requires a "special tool" to adjust the lower control arm bolts and they don't have that tool nor will they be able to obtain one anytime soon because GM is on strike!?! He didn't charge me for anything thankfully & sent me on my way with a "I'll call u if I can get that tool" As soon as I get into my vehicle I start it up and proceed to backup to leave the parking lot...I turned the wheel & I immediately hear this loud POP noise that I also felt in the floorboard underneath my feet indicating to me that the technician did not properly torque one of the lca bolts! Then as SOON as I jump out onto the road and started driving straight; I see that my steering wheel is no longer "straight" but pointing towards the 10 o' clock position! And because my vehicle has a steering angle sensor, of course it sets off the "service stabilitrak" message on my dash! I was furious to say the least because NONE of these problems existed before I brought my vehicle here for a free alignment check!!! Long story short, I brought the car to my regular shop (brakes plus) today and they performed a nice alignment for me, got my steering wheel straightened out again, reset the stabilitrak light, said they encountered NO problems whatsoever with my vehicle, they didn't need any "special GM tool" and they were even nice enough to take 20 DOLLARS off of their regular price for me because of all the trouble I had went through w/ THESE dimwits! read more

Let me tell you how a single customer service interaction saved me money: I walked in to a quiet lobby, a few customers waiting on their cars, to see the service manager Richard working away on his computer. He looked busy, so I waited patiently. What I saw over the next 10 minutes is what saved me money. I could tell immediately Richard was flustered, maybe they were busy. Oh well, that's the auto service industry. His frustration is understandable. What is not is the condescending tone he takes with employees and customers alike. His demeanor is abhorrent, and has no place in customer service. And as a manager, I could see the way his employees spoke to him. They were afraid. I can't imagine working at a place like this. "I should've stayed retired" Richard exclaimed after speaking with a difficult customer over the phone. Yes Richard, you should've stayed retired. We would all be better for it. I can see Richard reading this now, thinking "young people these days are so soft!". Attaboy, Richard. Needless to say, I didn't buy the overpriced tires or warranty. I went down the road to Discount Tires where the wait was 3 hours. I waited HAPPILY after a great customer service interaction from a service manager dealing with an absolutely packed shop, stark contrast with what you'll see at Goodyear. I can't say enough good things about this shop. I ran into a last minute problem with my car before a trip and needed to get in somewhere fast. I called a few shops in town and Goodyear Auto was able to get me in early and promised to get me out in 90 minutes... they got me out in an hour! What I loved most about this spot was that I told them what I needed and they didn't try and sell me something else. They took what I told them and fixed the issue. They communicated throughout the service which was nice too! There were a few lounging areas and cold water bottles were offered. We had driven 6 hours and air pressure to our tire started to decrease so we knew we had holes in the tire. We stop here and the technician we met was nice and was able to detect that we indeed have holes that needed patching. He directed us to go inside to see what they could do. We meet the front reception (as there was no one else in line) and told him what it was that we needed done (as instructed to by the technician). Straight out the gate, he acted condescending and rude to us. We were tired (and calm) and was just asking simple questions. He said it would be a 3 hour wait and when he saw our faces (obviously shocked but accepted it), we were going to ask him a question about the area (as we were not from the area) but he cut us off and said "what? *while mocking a shocked face* yeah it'll be 3 hours all the bays are Full. There's a place down the street where you can go" *continues to point in the direction of the other shop* then we asked "what was the name of the place again?" And he responded with "That's because I didn't give you a name. It's down the street to the left. You should be able to find it." We walked out and all agreed with how rude he had been to us and wouldn't even attempt to help us with giving a name to the next tire shop. Overall horrible customer service and he's lucky they put up with him. read more

After a bad experience at Discount Tires I looked at yelp/google reviews and finally decided on Goodyear Auto Service at this location. I'm glad I did, they were awesome. Richard was super helpful and took the time to understand what I was trying to get done (swapping wheels, transferring TPMS sensors, etc) on my Tesla Model 3. I was concerned about getting it up on a lift because the entire undercarriage houses the battery and I've heard some horror stories of damage when not lifted according to "Tesla's guidelines". But Jose our installer did a great job all around. He took the time to thoroughly go through everything (even double checking w/ the Tesla guidelines in the manual), did a test-fit of the front wheels to make sure I didn't have any clearance issues, and got everything done perfectly. Couple weeks later I've had no issues at all. Both Richard and Jose went out of their way to proactively communicate any issues/concerns while most shops would have just slapped on the wheels and sent me on my way. During the short wait, Richard showed me a set of Goodyear tires with a protective lip that will help reduce the chances of curb rash when my wife (inevitably) curbs my new wheels. I'm definitely switching to these when the current Michelin tires are done. Highly recommended, I'll have all our cars serviced here moving forward. read more

The coolant flush was normally $79.99, but I had a coupon for $20 off of services over $100. Even without the coupon this is a good price for this area. I drove around to get prices from about 5 other places and this was the cheapest and the fastest. The employees were all very nice and helpful and they didn't give any bullshit ( which happens a lot when you are a woman ). I will be returning here and would highly recommend them for you too. I came to this branch for the first time this past Saturday. I was in a bind, and needed a quick tire check as there was a nail in the rear driver side tire as was found yesterday when I took it to another place that could not accommodate me for the quick fix. I was impressed with the staff, the way that they maintained social distancing in the lobby, even though I didn't see any attendants wearing masks. They were quick and efficient with the check and repair (I was out of there in like 20 minutes) and best of all, it was no charge for flat tire repair. Whatever you do, don't buy the warranty! It's not worth it. They give you this big talk that the tire is 100% covered and it costs about the same price as buying a new tire at Costco or Sams. Bought four new tires in March, fast forward to May, I get a nail in my tire on a Friday. Deeming my tire unrepairable. Took three days after two different guys telling me that the tires were and were not there. Totally unorganized. Finally get a call back Monday afternoon, tire is finally in. Husband waits 45 minutes, no one is touching the car because they had a mix up in serial #'s on my tires for the warranty. I'm upset telling my husband they shouldn't have him standing around waiting to work on the car to fix their screw up on paperwork! After nearly an hour of waiting for them to fix their "serial # screw up" they tell us it's $65 to change out my new tire under warranty. Seriously?!? Taxes, balancing, rotating, and warranty on the new tire. The last time I came in for an appointment when I bought the new tires this place was unorganized then. Management, whoever, you guys need to get it together. Whatever you are doing IS NOT WORKING! And how can you charge taxes on labor? RIP OFF! read more

I was just in to do a oil change, I was recommended by the Goodyear on Indian school road. I drove over and walked into the store and waited a solid 5-10minutes for no service. I walked outside to have the technicians and mechanics standing around, I asked for help and they went to find someone, waited another 10 minutes. My car was taken in and serviced for an oil change, throughout the process the salesman continued to come tell me there were problems. "This light is on." "The brakes are locked and we are unable to check them, can you give us the key?" I told them to leave the other aspects of the car alone and to continue with the oil change. After waiting more than an hour I went to check on my car to be assured it was fine. I paid and proceeded to leave to then drive on freeway and have my hood fly up and hit my window! Then have towels that were left in the car go flying all over the road. I pulled over ripped all the towels out and shut the hood. If you're working on cars, learn to shut the hood, not leave your trash in the car and respect your clients. After calling to complain I was told nothing could be done and I could bring it in they would re check to for any other left items and retrieve the ones I had gathered. Worst service ever, this store is why I do not trust mechanics or technicians. Most importantly, shame on the UTI student that failed to service my car with care and respect. read more

Very disappointed. I've been having my oil changed, auto services for 5 years. I had my oil changed mid July- started leaking oil which I mistook for AC condensation. Fast forward 3 weeks- noticed a stain when backing out and realized it was oil. I was able to bring in my car easily. They took care of it and an attendant gave my keys back and I asked what was up with the oil. The oil filter was not put in correctly. No apologies. I just sat there wondering whether to leave or not. Someone else came back to the waiting area and I asked if that was it- and it was- again no apology- don't mind I had to take off of work and sit there for an hour. Called to make an appointment and went here yesterday to have my alignment checked. I had purchased 4 Weatherready tires and 3 year alignment package from this location in Sept. 2019. Guy working the counter (didn't get name but wearing an arm sling) could not find me in system. Then he tells me they had had a computer system upgrade in December 2019 and all customer data was lost. So it was my responsibility to prove I had done business with them ! Of course I did not have original paperwork on me. Now I am out $ 139.99 + tax I paid for alignment package. I have worked for small, medium, and Fortune companies and gone through numerous system upgrades over a 40 year work life and system backups were always done and data restorations always part of any upgrade. I will NEVER go to this location again, and depending on response from Goodyear corporate who I contacted, may never purchase another Goodyear product or service again. read more

I have had my car serviced several times by them. At first they were great but it was only putting on a new set of tires. Then I chose them to do an oil change, which the first time was fine but 3 hour wait. The next oil change they did what they call their check of fluids, tire pressure, oil change, battery check, and tire rotation. Two complaints here, one when I left tire pressure light was on so I pulled over at gas station and yes all 4 tires were 20 psi UNDER so I added air and then noticed the oil change sticker, said next oil change was due at 68,000 miles which is just poor math on technician part since car was currently at 72,000 miles. The sticker should have said 78,000 miles. I went back again and this is where the mistakes become larger. I took car in for oil change again and they did all their checks, tire rotations and such again...I told them please make sure to check fluid as light is on. I was told that they check for leaks and all fluids with every oil change. When I left the fluid low light was still on, I thought I just needed to drive for a bit to let cars computer catch up. Well every time I started car for the next 3 days the low fluid light still came on. I opened up the overflow tank for anti-freeze and WOW to my surprise it was not just low it was EMPTY. I called them and was told I needed to add water and drive right over as I probably have a leak. Hmm odd since they told me just days prior that I had no leaks and everything was great on my car. I drove it down and they did another leak check came back and told me NO LEAKS it's just low. REALLY???? They added anti-freeze for a nice $56 bill and they had no explanation of why I had no fluid in my car when they just told me 3 days prior that they checked all fluids and everything was fine. If they had simply said oops must have forgotten to add fluid we are sorry I would have been fine with that. But to charge me $56 because of their negligence. Risking my car over heating is not okay, refusing to admit fault, over charging me for a service they call "complimentary" read more

Last Friday, I left home to run many errands. An indicator light came on in my car. Seems I had a flat tire. I went and tried to put air in it but it wouldn't hold. Luckily, I was just a block away from GoodYear. I promptly went there and handed my car over to L. Rogers who assured me that all would be taken care of. After what seemed like a few minutes, he called me to the counter and said, "you're ready to go". I pulled my debit card out to pay the bill and to my utter amazement he said there was no charge! Initially, I was just thankful I didn't need a new tire but now GoodYear and L Rogers made my day! The staff were all very friendly and professional. Wife took her car in for an oil change , they took 2 hours to change the oil and then proceeded to let her know that she needed $2000 worth of work done to the car, including replacement of shocks and struts and a complete cooling system flush. Thing is, I replaced the entire suspension system 4 months ago with all new components and flushed the radiator as well. It's unethical to recommend work that isn't needed. Needless to say, we will never use this shop again, which is a shame, since they are very close by. I'd rather give somebody else my business who operates with integrity. read more

Gave me a price and promised to call me back in a few hours once they arrived. Called as promised and had my tires installed in less then an hour. I stopped by and asked where I could find an auto parts store so I could have my battery checked for no charge. One of the guys said that they could check it for me. One of the guys brought out their midtronics mdx-p300 battery tester. He ran a quick test and printed out the receipt with the result "replace battery" printed on it. He said I needed a new battery. I said thanks but I'm not going to do it now and left. I drove on to find an auto parts store where I could price a battery and get an idea of what it should cost for one. I found an "O'reilly Auto Parts" on North Litchfield Road just south of the freeway. They gave a quote for a battery. I pulled out the receipt given to me from the Goodyear guy and told them I'd just had my battery tested down at Goodyear. A manager approached and asked if he could look at the receipt. I said sure. He looked at it, looked out at my car, asked if I'd seen the guy at Goodyear program settings on the handheld tester (I hadn't) and asked if I'd like him to give it a go. I said sure. While testing my battery, the O'reilly manager explained that sometimes people manipulate settings to get a particular negative result. He explained in great detail how it all works and tested my battery a few different times, each time with the same result. My battery is good. (So is my starter. So is my alternator.) Apparently my battery had had a heat related hiccup or something. I thanked him for his honesty and told him I'd be back when I really needed something. No charge. No $200 battery I didn't need. I then called and spoke with the Goodyear grifter who'd tested my battery at this Goodyear location. I told him what I'd learned in the few minutes since I'd left and that I'd like to give him another chance to test my battery while allowing me to watch him input the settings in the tester. I told him I was considering posting a negative review but wanted to be fair and give him a chance to show me what I'd missed. He said "I've already given you a free test." I said "so that's a 'no' to testing it again while I watch you input settings". He said "that's a no". I said "then I'll be posting a negative review because you lied to me" as he hung up on me. I'm not sure what it is about auto that attracts bottom feeders, but ... protect yourself and avoid this Goodyear until they discover integrity. Glad my battery's OK. read more

This place is just ok. I've went a few times over the years and probably will not be going back unless it's my last option. I went in to have my alternator checked, which they replaced 6 months ago. I had an appointment, then an hour and 15 minutes later the vehicle still wasn't looked at. The guy said that I was next and I told him to give me me keys. Drove 2 miles to Auto Zone and the guy checked it out for me in 5 minutes and I was on my way. Also, shop around for your work if you can. A few months later one of the tires go flat. I take it back and they tell me I never had the alignment done and that's why the tire went flat. Meaning it's my fault and it's not covered by warranty. I shredded a tire on the freeway and had to put my spare on. I called discount tire the next day and they said they would get back to me, needless to say they never called me back. I called Goodyear tire on Litchfield and talked with David the service manager. He told me they didn't have my tire in stock but he made a few calls and was able to get the 2 tires I needed for the front within a couple hours. Also during the tire exchange David pointed out that the inside tread on my rear tires was worn indicating out of alignment or negative camber. I didn't have the money to do it then so I waited a week till I got paid and immediately called David back to order the other 2 tires for the rear and schedule an alignment. I dropped the car off after the tires arrived and David was there to greet me . He gave me a time frame of about an hour and a half so I returned within the allotted timeframe. David let me know after they replaced the rear tires that the camber in the back was no longer negative and I wouldn't need an alignment which was great !! Because I was looking to spend right around $400.00 for the package and instead walked out with only having to pay $200.00. I highly recommend coming to this service facility as they don't try to sell you things you don't need,are a very helpful and knowledgeable staff, they were quick and thorough with their work and the prices are fair. Where to begin, where to begin... So I recommend to everyone that you read this before going to this goodyear shop. I will be posting it on every website I can to ensure that this business never hurts anyone ever again. I went to this shop twice. The first time in my jeep the only problem this first time was getting treated like a second rate customer when I was spending over $1000 on tires and a front end alignment ... The wait time was literally the worst thing I have witnessed I was there for 6 1/2 hours for everything and I came when they opened with one car in front of mine and only 1 person after me. All of the equipment on my truck was aftermarket. Rough country suspension the works... I had just had installed at desert rat off road 7 months prior to leaving for basic training. However they wanted to insist I have some of the suspension equipment replaced because it was bad... How can it be bad when I just had it installed before I left for basic military training then come back to have the tires I want installed? Second I have my Wife's Pickup Truck... Again lifted aftermarket everything they recommended I replace some things which weren't as new but they refused to do the alignment until I replaced them this time... So I said alright, ill go home and replace it myself... Well they didn't like that too much, I came back the next day after having a friend install the new parts. Same thing 6 hour wait for new tires and an alignment. Later, we are driving up to the Colorado river pulling a boat and get this... my tire falls off... all 8 studs broke off because the wheel was not torqued down enough. Guess what the shop said, "Well on your receipt there is a disclaimer stating to re-tighten the lug nuts after 50 miles of driving." I stated I was not informed of this I was just told to sign the receipt acknowledging the amount. What I got in return was a "I guess you should read what you sign next time" Not only did they provide bad service the put my family's LIFE in danger. Please for all that is good in life do not give your business to this company. They don't care about you, or your car, they only care about themselves. read more
