if you like it when people take the time to tell the story with their review, then this is going to be one you may enjoy. We have four cars in the family and we use the Lake Worth Road location of Discount Tire for them all (half an hour and four tires stores we pass on the way to get there). Here is my best example of why: We have two Tesla Model X's and the design has a flaw in the way Tesla sets up the camber (no, this won't be a technical story, but you need a couple technical words to set the tone) the flaw makes you burn through tires within 8-11,000 miles. Strange, rotten, but true. So on my prior replacement, Juan here at Discount Tire let me know that there is a company that make a camber kit to help the problem. I researched it and bought both my Tesla's a kit that was supposed to fix the issue and felt smug that I outsmarted the problem. However, Tesla had multiple layers of problems they hadn't solved and I didn't know it. The parts of the rear tires that were visible looked brand new, So I continued happy and smug until I got a nail in my rear tire, and that saved me. I stopped at a convenient roadside tire stand, as I was an hour from Discount Tire, I thought a patch done by another shop would be fine. When they looked, they were shocked - the far inside of the tires, where you couldn't see, was down to the cords on both rear tires. I got back in the car and gingerly drove the hour to Discount Tire. I knew I could trust anyone to put on a bandaid, but if I needed surgery, there was only one place I could trust. I arrived at Discount Tire to my favorite customer service advisor, Juan. He started by getting me a credit back from the tire maker for the uneven wear - bonus, as I hadn't remembered tire makers do that, but Juan just went about trying to do the best he could for me. He ordered in a new set of rears and I left the car and showed up the next day for the install. In the meantime, I had researched Tesla's and found there was another layer of problems - you set the alignment at one level, but the air suspension goes to four different settings, so you wear your tires out by the change in settings. So I figured out how to set them to stay in one place - there, another Tesla issue fixed! As the guys were starting the install, I cooked up a plan to fix the rest of my Tesla's problems once and for all. I wanted to replace all four tires and go to different wheels that weren't staggered, so I could rotate them properly and stop the wear in only one spot. I also wanted to stop having the car bang over the smallest uneven patched in the road, as it was on 22" wheels that look nice, but show no mercy for the occupants of the vehicle. I thought I had time to research and get the right choice, but these guys are super speedy and had already put the new tires on, by the time I figured out what I wanted to do. As a result, I didn't want to drive on the new tires as I wasn't planning to keep them. They couldn't take them off and put on the old ones, for, as the only reviews that are negative here state, they can't be liable for putting on faulty tires (or taking nails out of the sidewall) - this is frustrating, but it bears mention as it also saves you from doing silly things and hurting yourself. The wheels would take a week to get in. I talked with Dustin, the manager and he told me he was willing to keep the car on the property and move it into the garage every night until the wheels arrived. I know he couldn't have been happy about that, but man, you wouldn't know it to look at him. Just the perfect image of professionalism when facing an adverse situation. It got worse for them. Having taken this on, they moved the car around for a few days. However, then I had to come by and ask that they plug the car into the wall socket, as it was about to run out of electricity - Tesla's don't have a reserve tank, they just go dead. So they kindly agreed to do so. Ben and Juan moved the car in and out, charging it daily as they did. When the wheels finally arrived, they had them mounted up with new tires, fully aligned and ready to go in under 90 minutes. Discount Tire and Tire Rack share common ownership, so you always get same excellent prices Tire Rack advertises, without having to pay the shipping charge. It is genius. Anyhow, Juan rang up the sale and Dustin had kindly authorized giving me an additional discount. If I was the boss, there is no way I would do that after all the extra trouble I had caused. It was a really kind extra touch that shows how classy these guys are and how well this store is run. So, I'm back to feeling semi-smug, as I really think I've solved all my Tesla problems. These guys are friendly and hard working. I bought my tires from them two months ago and I've never seen the type of teamwork they exhibited at any automotive shop. Despite being packed they all helped each other by teaming up on cars to get them out faster. There was one young guy trying to sell me hard on wind shield wipers like it was his mission in life, but I don't pay for something I can do myself. I came back for an alignment today and they didn't disappoint. I didn't have an appointment yet they were able to work me in quickly. We talked shop about modding cars and despite being packed again they still kept everything moving quickly. Their prices are fair and their service is outstanding. I've experienced my fair share of car shops, tire repair shops, roadside service and dealer service centers (from Firestone, Goodyear, BMW/Mini, Hyundai, Honda, Ford, AAA, and Tesla to name a few). I'm so glad I found this place in a pinch. I found a nail in my tire before heading out on a 90 mile trip back home. Unfortunately for me, Tesla roadside assistance was no help. They had no spare tires in inventory and wouldn't send a mobile tire repair without a spare tire (although all I needed was a tire patch). They could only tow my car to the nearest service center or to a shop of my choice. Neither of those were good options because that would've left me without a car for at least two days. I called a few mobile places and they don't repair Tesla tires (Teslas have to be handled a certain way...if the car isn't mounted on jacks properly it can ruin the battery). I stumbled upon a Reddit post about Tesla flat tire repair at a place called Discount Tires and how great they were. I quickly looked them up on Yelp (5 stars) so I gave them a call and JJ answered the phone. His customer service/phone etiquette was top notch. He answered all my questions and assured me they can inspect the tire, repair/patch or replace my tire, and they have the Jack pads to lift the car properly. Most importantly he told me they were comfortable repairing Tesla tires. I called at 4pm, they closed at 6pm. I arrived at 5pm and Manny helped me right away, he gave me a few recommendations after inspecting my tires and they started on my car right away. The shop was probably one of the cleanest shops I've dealt with. I received text notifications at every stage of the repair and was able to quickly track the progress on their app. In less than 45 minutes my tire was patched and I was on my way. The kicker to all of this...the tire repair was free! I didn't realize this was something they offered. I don't know how long they have offered this or how much longer they will offer it but I am grateful they offer it! They have earned a customer for life! They even have counter seating so you can charge your phone, catch up on work emails, or simply watch them work on your car. They have complimentary bottled water and hand sanitizers throughout the waiting area. *Keep in mind that if they can't safely patch or plug the tire they won't attempt it. The nail has to be in the "repairable zone." Sidewall punctures can't be repaired with a patch or plug and will require a replacement tire. read more

I looked a new set up and they were $26. I told them I would get them and have the rotation done later. They didn't even fix the tire with the nail in it. They aired it up and brought it out not telling me. The next morning I woke up to a flat tire. Ended up going to another store getting the flat repaired. They have everything including the Nittos I wanted since I knew they were great in rain. Applied for card-approved and saved another 5%. Their prices across the board were better on all tires. This allowed me a year to pay, hazard assurance that tire nails would be repaired no charge. Spoke with Dustin and Mark on the phone-compared all stats and they suggested Perrelli's for best performance. They spent time and cared. I had some other concerns regarding the vehicle that were also addressed. Once all was arranged on line- only there about an hour for all 4 tires. This place is worth the drive. I have the worst luck with getting nails in my tires. It seems like it happens all of the time. This time I didn't realize there was a nail and I kept driving, ripping my back tire to shreds. Unfortunately I have expensive tires so I called around everywhere trying to find a good used tire which was impossible to find. I then called at least 20 tire dealers looking for the best price for the tire and they were the only place to have them in stock.Their prices were competitive and I felt the most comfortable with them so I made an appointment to come in. Discount Tire is practicing all of the Covid safety measures. You drive your car in to the garage and you can wait inside your car while they work on it if you prefer. They took me in right away even though I was 10 minutes late for my appointment time. After examining my tires and telling me what they found I agreed to replace the two front tires. They moved the old front tires to the rear and saved the best tire so now I have a good full sized spare. Everything was put back into the tire well and and they checked the air pressure on all four tires. I am definitely going to be more careful about checking my tires going forward but I purchased an extra warranty so if anything else happens they will replace the tires if they can't fix them. I feel so much more comfortable driving now, especially knowing that I have a great spare tire. This place really respects your time and they had me out in a jiffy. Did you know that Discount Tire fixes flats for free? I had no idea, despite having visited this store before pre-covid-19. I called Discount Tire specifically because they had a banner on their Yelp page listing their coronavirus methods. I had already contacted a couple of closer, locally-owned tire businesses but when I called, they had little to no safety procedures in place. Discount Tire, however, is dedicated to creating a contactless visit. They allow you to stay in the car the entire time and you can purchase services and tires over the phone. Not everyone needs this, but for some it is crucial. It's great to know I have this option at the Greenacres location. Flat tire. I was told I needed a new tire. At the beginning they told me they didn't have the tire size. After 5 minutes they magically found the size and there was only one available, only one with the price of 184.99 with taxes without guarantee.... With guarantee it brought it up to $215. I am not an expert in tires but I know that's a high price for a tire. I was following the good reviews but I was disappointed. Went to a new place where they patched the tire, no need of a new tire at all. I had purchased 2 tires from Tire Rack and Discount Tire had purchased this very reputable company recently and strongly incentified install at their local shop. To my dismay as I drove out the car after install, it just didn't feel right. The TPM when it reset after 3 miles, indicated 22psi left rear. Drove back and upon inspection and adding air, the leak from around the valve became blatantly obvious.. How this was not apparent to the technician is totally beyond me, as even a run flat looks flat at 22psi. Now I have to wait for them to dismount the tire from the wheel, and replace the valve stem. If I termed this a "clown show" I would be besmirching the fine reputation of clowns. The icing on the cake was that all four of my tires had different pressures when I left the first time. The rears should have been at 39 not 35 psi. When your tech rebalanced the rears he left some of the old adhesive on the wheel when he peeled off some weights. Another very professional touch which reminds me of your overall competency when I get into my car. I first called them to see if they had the tire in stock and told them my problem. They said they had it in stock and if I could come today they would take care of it right away. Once I got there, they informed me of the process and put my info in the computer. The tire was replaced and I was on my way in less than 30 minutes. WOW!
