Had one tire replaced today due to a pothole destroying my tire. Discount Tire on Lake Worth road is the best tire store I have ever been to. I first called them to see if they had the tire in stock and told them my problem. They said they had it in stock and if I could come today they would take care of it right away. Once I got there, they informed me of the process and put my info in the computer. The tire was replaced and I was on my way in less than 30 minutes. WOW! I'm all about reading reviews, especially when it comes to going to an auto body place. I've had enough with people trying to take advantage of me. This place had it all, great reviews and 5 stars. If you don't want to wait in the waiting room, take a walk next door to Target. First impression- brand new building and very well kept. The inside had its Covid glass and markers on the floor. The staff was super friendly and knowledgeable. I told him what I needed and he was honest about everything. I like to see if someone is full of BS first. He didn't BS me and I greatly appreciate that. I took off of work just so I didn't have to waste a weekend spending half my day dealing with this. From the looks of how they handle things, I don't believe I would have had that problem. I got two new tires and windshield wipers. $300 total, not bad. I can come back and get a complementary tire rotation. How can you not love that? I do feel bad for the tire place across the street that's been there forever. I pointed that out to the sales guy and he says that the company likes to put there stores next to other tire places. Not very nice on there part. read more

I planned to go to a "high reviewed" tire shop in Deerfield Beach,since I live close to install 4 new tires I brought myself....after being asked for 200$ + taxes (!) only for install/balance I called a friend of mine who directed me to tire discount in Greenacres....very good experience,in 40 mins I was out and pricing was very honest (115$ all in). Let me preface this review and state I'm still going to do the long drive to Palm Beach to get tires from this place, but I have to downgrade my star ratings. Whats still good? 1. Still a great place to get new tires at great prices. 2. I like their warranty policy. 3 Fast service. Whats bad. Each time I've asked them to replace a tire and put it at a different location they've given me two ridiculously stupid reasons why they would not do it. The first time, they claimed my tread was to low and it was either against the law, or company policy to remove the tire. I guess I would have to buy another tire from them so they can put the tire I already bought where I want it. The second time, the binturi said they could not move my tire where I wanted because I had a plug in it. Who doesn't have a plug in their tire from a nail or screw puncture. So both times I ended up jacking the car up myself and moving the tires. I'm going to call the corporate office tomorrow to make a complaint, and see if this asinine policy they have is true or just being pushed at this location to force unsuspecting customers to replace tires they do not need to replace. I've never encountered anything asinine like this before from any tire store. read more

After Calling around we determined this was definitely the place to come. Location:Facing Lakeworth road in the same parking lot as Target. Easy access in and out. Customer service: Friendly and straight forward on the phone. They walk up to your car upon arrival and you can also go in. They go over all options budget wise and find the best tires for you within that. They are honest about what is needed and not needed. From walking in to picking up my car only took 30 minutes with 3 new tires! Price: I was very happy with their price honoring program. They matched another quote I received. It really does boil down to value...They stand behind their work and their tires are insured automatically. If any repairs need to be made they do it for free and if it can't be repaired they will replace the tire on the house at ANY location. Every 5k miles you receive free balancing and roation. Gave this place 5 stars a couple of years ago. Now I'd give them no stars if I could. Brought in my vehicle with a slow leak that my son had temporarily put a plug in on the side of the road and it was fine and got him home 300 miles. I wanted it repaired professionally. I can't believe the excuse that it couldn't be fixed because once moisture got into the steel cords it was rusty! I'm a car guy. Been repairing cars for over 50 years. First time I heard that excuse. It was a tiny screw hole. If he had driven with the screw in the tire wouldn't moisture get into the tire anyway? Took it to Tire Kingdom and had it patched without a problem. I got a nail in my tire, came to this place because they were closest, asked to plug it. instead the clerk preceded with checking all my tires and telling me I need to change all of them. I asked to just plug it so I can make it home and deal with changing tires later. He said the shop doesn't fix tires that are worn out because it's not safe to drive on them. ok so driving on a flat tire with a nail in it must be safer! I don't recommend this bad business oriented on making money over safety of the customers. read more

Visited this Discount Tire in Greenacres on a Monday. Told me they could put on the new Michelin tires I wanted that same day. Decided to bring the SUV in on Wednesday. They told me it would take about an hour. When I got there on Wednesday, they said the job would take about 45 minutes. It was done in 20! Everyone there was very nice, cheerful, helpful, and I would use them again in the future. The reason I gave them 4 stars instead of 5 was because when I got home and looked at the tires, I found they left one of the valve cover caps off. So I had to trek back to them to get a valve cover cap. My feeling is this is a tire store. This is their job. They are professionals, and I should not have to go back to them for any reason. Everything should be done right the first time, including placing valve caps on every tire. read more

Siri located discount tire a few blocks away. The gentleman in charge could not have been nicer and more understanding. This was at the beginning of the virus outbreak, from I could see were using every precaution to protect customers and their staff. They offer a one heck of a guarantee and I believe that their prices to be reasonable. They quoted me a time for the repair and notified me, a few minutes early. Each and every one of the people who work here from the guys on the front desk to the folks who work in the shop are pleasant, polite, safety conscious and quality conscious. When I used to drive my car in the rain, it was TERRIBLE. I almost got into 17 accidents EVERY TIME I DROVE. When I went into Discount Tire™, Logan was SO incredibly helpful. He helped me pick the best windshield wipers for me and my car at a discounted price (wink) compared to other places I looked. This man deserves a raise for knowledge on windshield wipers. He helped me get in and out in less than 10 minutes and did it with a HUGE smile on his face. He made the experience so amazing and he was so personable. We drove from Boca to this location in Greenacres with a nail in our tire because Discount is the only store we used and trusted on the West Coast. They did not disappoint. Not only did they replace the tire that was in stock but we were in and out in under 30 minutes. The tire was under warranty so it cost us a whopping dollar. Great management and friendly service. Went to this place to get two tire pressure sensor (TPMS) and they wanted to charge me $120 for each plus labor and reprogramming for an older model 2016 Chevy Equinox. This place is a rip off. I took it right across to Discount Tire and they only charge me $120 for both out the door. Never will return to this place. Stay away people. It is SO hard to find honesty and integrity in Florida, in all contractors and esp in dealing with anything automotive! As a single female, it's open " hunting" season. So when my tires light went on, I went to the dealer and they "quoted" me an incredulous $775! for 4 new tires that had no wear. They also insisted that I needed an alignment-hmmm. ( That would not have happen "up North" BTW). Went to these guys, only a 5 minute drive down the street; told me the obvious, that I had no wear on my tires, I probably need more air. They checked my pressure, put more air, the light went off, they check for nails and glass. ALL FOR FREE!! And like 5 minutes of my time. At 100 % discount. AWESOME GUYS!! Go! See them first. These guys are awesome. I messed up my 2 left tires and had my car towed to them and they put new tires on within 1 hour of my car being there! MAKE SURE if you get new tires to pay the extra $20 per tire for insurance. It is much needed and you will be stuck having to buy new tires if something bad were to happen like what happened to mine.
