The staff here were all very kind, helpful, and informative when it came to my tires. The only downside was that I was under the impression the installation would take around 30 minutes, but it ended up taking about an hour and a half. However, considering how busy they were that morning, I completely understood and did not mind the wait. What really stood out to me was the customer service. If I could leave less than one star I would, I got my BMW towed there because I got a flat while driving (my back right passenger). I already needed them changed so I bought 4 new ones at this Discount Tire. When I came in the morning to pick it up my boyfriend waited inside for 20 minutes just waiting for someone to tell him where the keys to my car were, after we got them the moment my boyfriend started driving out he said it was driving weird. We drove for 12 minutes on the highway, and he checked the tire pressure while we were driving on my computer screen in my car. The front passenger was at 11 psi, so we went to another discount and they said the valve was leaking. Had to sit for another hour while they were fixing it. After the service, they told me my car loose 1 valve cap after balance the tires. I don't wanna argue with you guys about the valve cap but I know for sure there were no valve caps missing before I dropped the car at your shop. I checked. I picked up a screw in a less than 1 year old tire that I had purchased Discount Tires' warranty on. It was a high pressure leak but unfortunately the tire was not repairable due to the screws location. This store was able to find me a replacement for this hard to find tire size in another Houston store and had it shipped here the same day costing them $20. I went in the next morning and they had it replaced in about 20 minutes with no cost to me. I have been a fan of DT for over 10 years now. Their prices are very competitive, they are open 6 days a week, customer service is always excellent and they offer free air refills. All you have to do is just drive up. If you live in any sizable city in Texas you will find numerous stores so it makes service an easy thing. I came in for a leaky tire to be fixed. They always scan the tires for low tread when I get service there for my safety and potentially their register. It didn't take that long despite they always having a waiting are full of people because I made an appointment on their mobile app. You have to do that. read more

I had an I had bought all my four tires here and had an incident with one of my back tire making pop making my car swerve and making my other back tire go a bit bald because all the weight of my car was on that one tire after the tire popped. They refuse to change both tires and even took off my warranty coverage from the tire that was still not popped in the back saying that I had to change it because it was an alignment issue having a new car. I had them come out to do mobile install for four new tires. The staff I spoke with on the phone and the tech were all very nice and courteous however the tech that did the install chipped the black coating on my wheels in a few places. The tech said the coating was not durable and that he used appropriate care when installing. I contacted the dealership I originally had the wheels coated and they said it should not have happened and only careless installation would have caused it. I'm not an expert in wheel coatings and tire installation but one thing I do question is why would the tech keep installing on the three other wheels after the first one began chipping without letting me know? I strongly advise that if you have any type of coated wheels to not use their mobile install service and look for a safer touch less install option in a store. read more

Leaving this here since the location on 10727 north freeway doesn't have the option to leave a review. Probably because they're so bad. The experience was horrible, the music in their garage was blasting hip hop music to the point where it was hard to hear or even communicate. I came in with a flat tire two days in a row. They finally looked at my tire on the second day. It was a quick 2 minute look in their parking lot then they said there was a screw on the side of my tire that they couldn't repair and that I needed to replace all four tires. I decided to come to Costco for a second opinion/quote and they lifted up my car for a thorough analysis. They determined that I didn't have a screw at all in my tire and that they could patch it up for $10. They also said the rest of my tires were in great shape. I had the worst experience ever at this discount tire and I will never return, thanks to Julio. I got a flat on 290 and barely made it to this shop. I walked in and wasn't greeted or acknowledged for the first 5 mins. Then Julio said I'll be right with you. He didn't greet me at all. Just asked what was wrong. I told him I had a flat. We went to go look at it. He scanned his device across all 4 of my tires and told me I needed 4 new tires. I drive a 21 dodge charger with 25K miles and the tires are under warranty with the dealer. When I tried to explain this he scoffed and told me the dealer would not cover these tires because of the wear and tear and was adamant that I needed to buy 4 new tires. I said bro I came in here with a flat. Not to purchase 4 new tires. Is there anything you can do to help me get back on the road? He said well your car doesn't come with a spare. I said alright then man. Thanks for you me unwillingness to help. So I got out the air pump and sealant that came with my car. I've never used this thing and I'm not a tire mechanic. Bro just stood there and watched me struggle and try to figure out how this thing works. I got really annoyed and stood up and asked him his name. He said my name is Julio. Why do you want to know my name? I said I like to know who I'm talking to. He said is your name Steven? Is this you? And he showed me all my information on his little device. Like he was trying to be a tough guy. Bro is real lucky I didn't smack it out of his hand but I let it slide. I said do you know how this thing works? He said no. After I struggled for a while he changed his tune and tried to help but didn't even know how to work the pump. He said let me go see if there is a spare we can sell you to get you back on the road. He came back with 2 used tires for $100 each. $100 for used tires??!? I said no thanks I'm good. After this whole fiasco I called the dodge dealership. They sent a tow truck and picked up my car for free. The next morning I picked up my car from dodge with 2 new tires on the back for FREE. ALL COVERED UNDER WARRANTY. Like I tried to explain to Julio. I asked if I needed to replace the two in the front. They said not at all. That there is plenty of tread on the tires. Come back in 10K miles and they'll replace the other 2 for free. Julio offered terrible, arrogant, and disrespectful customer service. He clearly doesn't know anything about tires, about my car, or about my warranty through the dealer and just wants to bleed customers dry.
